I am very disappointed with this product. The amazing art duffle bag came in almost empty. Promised bags of modeling clay, stamping markers, stickers and the activity booklet was nowhere to be found. Then I started reading the other reviews about this product and sadly realized that I was not the only one... I can't believe Crayola continues to ship the product half empty. It is about time that someone takes an action...

This seems like a "Bait & Switch" ... The picture shown, as well as the written decription, portrays a fun filled (and I do mean FILLED) bag of art supplies, when it is actually filled with mostly air. The missing supplies included three packages of modeling clay, 10 washable mini stamp markers, the activity booklet, of the 15 sticks of sidewalk chalk promised - it came with only 6. There were no washable markers - there are 10 non-washable markers.
This is an extremely disappointing purchase.

First, this bag contains exactly what it promises. Read the production description. Click on the picture to view a larger version. You are told exactly what is in the bag.
The only problem is that you could get these things separately, and the duffel itself isn't really necessary.
Still, the price is low and it is cute enough to hold a child's attention. The duffel, of course, can be reused.

I bought this for my 6 year old & she opened it as an early present.The ball is ok,it bounces much farther than a real basketball,being made of a different sort of rubber.Ok for bouncing but not to good for real basketball. The paint was fun to inject into the ball,but you can't really control where it goes though.As it turns out,that doesn't matter because all the paint mixed and puddled in the bottom of the ball.It doesn't seem to be drying in there.So don't get your hopes up artisticlly,but its fun for 4 to 6 year olds.don't pay full price for this,wait until its at least 50% off.

My 5 year old son received the 'Design Your Own Basketball' kit as a birthday present from a friend.

We opened the package and used the provided air pump to inflate the translucent ball. The pump was easy enough for my 5 year old to operate and he had a fun time inflating the ball himself - it made him feel 'strong' :) After inflating the ball, he chose the paint color he would use first. He chose red... I filled up the provided paint injector with the red paint, inserted the tip into the ball and he squoze the paint in the ball. We bounced the ball back and forth to each other... distributing the paint in a splatter like pattern around the inside of the ball. It looked really neat! We then used all the other colors and bounced each one to make a neat pattern and complete the ball.

My son is very proud of his creation, he did most of it himself...AND he has a unique ball that no one else in the neighborhood has :) We would recommend this kit to others and will buy some in the future to give as gifts too!

My daughter received this heart box kit as a gift. She is 10 years old and loves keepsake boxes. She enjoyed this kit. The quality of the box is fantastic. She really liked the gems and the glitter glaze that is included in this kit. This kit would make a great gift for anyone who likes to paint and make keepsake boxes.

My 8 year old received this as a birthday present. She absolutley loves it. Painting and decorating this kit kept her busy for hours and when she was finished she was very proud of her work. One of the things she really liked was that the paint dries quickly so it is easy to put on the next coat or to paint a design. She doesn't like having to wait for something to dry and I am happy not to have another half done project around the house. She now has a place to keep all of her special jewelery and whenever her friends come over she shows off the heart box. So many of her friends want one that we are now going to give it as a present. Great toy to buy as a gift or just for an activity for your own child.

My 7 y.o. received this kit as a b-day gift from a friend who knew that she loved crafts, as well as hearts. This was the PERFECT gift! It kept my daughter busy for hours, between the sanding, the painting and the glueing with the glitter, marbles and a few favorite pictures. The finished product is adorable and now my daughter keeps her "special" keepsakes in her heart box. She had so much fun doing this project for herself that she wanted to make another one and give it to her Grandma as a gift, for her to keep her special things in as well. Great kit to give as a gift as is, as a finished product or just for fun at home! Would also make a fun party idea...to do this as a craft, then the kids have a souvenier to take home with them (better than a party bag!)
