Already a 5 star toy!My 19 month old loved this-she carried the magic pen around with her the WHOLE day (probably 8 hours) and must have colored the pictures a dozen times. She loved coloring each character we asked her to color ("Color Cookie"). She loved all the characters, and I loved the good clean fun it provided. This is a fantastic introduction to coloring without having any mess. As she gets older, I hope she will enjoy the seek and find activities on each page as well. A great toy, and it actually seems very durable, as it was bent a lot, and still works just fine. The only thing I wish is that there was another pen so she could play with someone else, but for what it costs, I think you get your money's worth!
greatWE HAVE FOUND THIS AQUA DOODLE MAT TO BE WONDERFUL. MY DAUGHTER IS 3 1/2 AND LOVES TO COLOR. SHE WILL SIT AND COLOR THESE MATS FOR AT LEAST A HALF HOUR AND BY THE TIME SHE IS DONE COLORING THE LAST ONE, THE FIRST ONE IS DRY. THEY ARE GREAT FOR ON THE GO OR RESTAURANTS. THE MATS ARE A BIT THIN BUT HAVE HELD UP VERY WELL. GREAT TOY.
long lasting use! my daughter got this for her birthday in january, and still loves to play with it!the pen will work on any aquadoodle in case you lost the one that came with it!

Convenient and VERY DurableI run a small full-day preschool out of my home. This table is perfect for such a business. I have 6 kids each day, which the table seats comfortably for meals, activities, and free time table toys. I have had it two years so far and it still looks and holds up like new, and it takes quite a beating every day! Even if it broke tomorrow (knock on wood), I would go out and buy another one because it is perfect for the size of my kitchen. On weekends when I want my house back, I just take it to our basement and bring it back up on Mondays! PERFECT!
A MUST HAVE TABLEThis table is great! It is STURDY, EASY TO FOLD, EASY TO SET UP,LIGHT to carry,CLEANS UP WELL, and HOLDS UP WELL OUTSIDE! We have had this table for about 3 years now and it stays outside in the CA (sun)weather. My 2 kids and their friend's eat on it, play on it, and craft on it. I quickly fold it up if I want it out of the way and have taken it to the park and beach. Thanks to Grandma for getting it!
Picnic Fun My son loves his new picnic table. It is much sturdier, and keeps it color better than the other brands. It was a little difficult to set up (it took two of us), but was well worth it. It also goes well with the Little Tikes Playground and Swing center.

Coloring without SpotsI really enjoyed finding this product. We orginally got a book with the paints. My daughter loved it so much, she asked for this one.
For a three year old, this product is a godsend. Just think, no more illustrations on the wall.
I highly recommend Crayola WonderColor markers and paint.

My kids LOVE these! We have the Thomas and Sesame Street sets and my sons LOVE them! They are small and mess free so you can take them anywhere. My older son isn't much into crayons and coloring books, but loves these. I highly recommend them!
Great Mini VersionI've bought the aquadoodle regular mat - so when i saw this - i knew my child would love this one as well. Works almost the same way - except there are actualy pictures on the mats to color in with the magic water pen - the pen makes the colors come out - then after 5 minutes it dries again - these are great for car rides - or pretty much to take anywhere - even comes with a miniature pen!

Great idea for keeping the mess in checkI bought my daughter these markers and fingerpaints after scrubbing crayon/marker lines off the wall one too many times. So far we've been very pleased. There's a good variety of colors of markers available and lots of different books/pads to choose from. She loves coloring pictures for grandma's fridge and I like that I don't have to search for colors on my walls.
The fingerpaints are rather soft and it's easy to get too much on a little one's fingers if they're not careful. You just have to show them how to carefully (and gently) rub their fingers across the top of the paint color rather than digging in. Also it does take a few seconds for the color to appear on the paper after it's been applied, so that takes a little getting used to.
These are also great for in the car, or when visting someplace where you don't want a mess. My biggest complaint is that the sets are little pricey, but Toys 'R Us seems to have BOGO sales every 3 or 4 months and I stock up then. Overall we're very pleased with these sets and they make a nice addition to our crayon and marker collection.

Fun with the Grandson! My three year old grandson and I have spent many hours coloring, finger painting and writing with Crayola Color products. They're great because they work only on the "magic" paper - no mess, no stress. It's all fun!
Happiness Is Not Getting It on the CarpetI bought this gift for a friend's son, especially when I noticed that the markers would not show up anywhere except the special paper that comes with the kit. Fortunately, it really worked, which was not only a great relief to the boy's parents, but to me, too, for giving him a gift that won't contribute to a big cleanup for his folks.

Good All Around Gift IdeaI purchased two of these for holiday gifts for a three year old girl and a seven year old boy. Both children continue to thoroughly enjoy the gift and I see smiles and cooperative, creative play whenever the big re-closeable boxes of delights are pulled out.
This is a wonderful kid friendly way for kids to be able to unleash their creativity. The box contains a good variety of great products... more than enough to satisfy most kids on most days. It is also a great chance to sample lots of cool crayola offerings without having to commit hefty sums of money to buy each one separately.
Excellent for independent clean-up because everything fits easily right back into the big see-through box. All that, plus you get the fun of seeing all the beautiful ideas the kids will come up with.
I will be buying many of these for birthday gifts in the future.

This Is GREATI got this toy for christmas and the moment i got it i loved it,i think every kid should get one
Wonderful Set, but contents and colors will varyI got this set (along with the Super Art Craft Chest) for my daughter for Christmas. This set had more than was shown/expected and far exceeded my expectations. While my set DID NOT have the modeling clay as shown, it did have 3 different boxes of crayons including classic, neon or flourescent, and construction paper crayons, at least 2 sets of markers, colored pencils, sidewalk chalk, a coloring book, paint, and the plastic crayon/marker holder (which as a different color than shown). The only weak part of the set is the coloring book, but the supplies inside the tub are outstanding and inspiring for young artists. By all means, if your child likes to draw, paint, and color, then your child will LOVE this kit and get plenty of use out of it! By the way, I prefer this set to the Craft set, but both are wonderful! The tote itself will be bigger than you are expecting and you can add any existing supplies you have to it!

Parents bewareA warning for all parents: The Color Wonder coloring book caused skill lost in our child.
We didn't see the harm...until we went back to using crayons and markers.
Before using Color Wonder, our daughter at 2 years old was extremely detail oriented in her work. She colored inside the lines and took great pleasure and pride in doing so. After one to two months of using color wonder exclusively, that attention to detail, along with her pride in doing so is completely gone. She smears color across the page with a focus now on speed instead of detail. Although I am certain this is a temporary setback, the amount of skill loss still disturbs me enough to never use any of the Color Wonder products again. Her attention to detail was something that was a part of her (my first child was never that way) and it is sad to me that that piece of her is now missing in her work.
Please note that we were using the coloring books, not the blank pages. For those of you that are not familiar with the product, chemicals on the paper react to chemicals in the marker and produce color. However, in the coloring books (not the blank page sets), only portions of the page have reactive areas so the picture always looks good because there is no ability to color outside the lines. Although this may seem rewarding to a very small child, the negative skills impact definitely outweighs the fun.
I wish I could give negative points on educational value.

oili bought this for my sister's son and he loved it but...if you for get to put the cap on it will not die out but it will leave a oil stain.
Great when you can't use real markers! We love these sets! They are great when you are places where you can't use real markers because they only work on the paper. We use them at church for our 1 and 3 yr olds. It keeps them preoccupied and quiet. We have used both the plain pages and the pre-designed pages and my kids really like the pre-designed ones best - especially the ABCs book. It has "hidden" pictures that they get to find with the markers. I don't see that one on-line here but that is our favorite.

Crayola Color Wonder Finger Paint and Coloring Book

Mess-free?? Are they kidding???Using the Color Wonder Finger Paints is basically like dipping your hand in Vaseline. It's greasy, hard to wash off, and stains. I would never buy this again nor for anyone else. I strongly urge against purchasing this product. Crayola, shame on you!
Color AnywhereI think this was such a wonderful concept for small children.Gone are the messy paint smears on tots clothing the rug, funiture etc. So great for the very youngest ages. I bought this for a child staying with me and she just loves it, no-one stands over her saying be careful. She just colors and colors, what fun!
LOOVVEEE ITI am a bargin shopper and only bought this because it was on clearance at Walmart, BUT when I got it home, me and my 6 year old son opened it and had a ball. A little secret..... when he was at school today, I was coloring on it. It is so much fun watching the paint "magically" appear. I definatelyl recommend this product.

MLB Series 14 Jeff Kent, Dodgers, White Jersey
Amazon base price: $
Average review score:

Jeff Kent finally gets an action figure as a Los Angeles DodgerI would have thought that McFarlane Toys would have put out an action figure of Jeff Kent while he was playing with the San Francisco Giants from 1997-2002, when he was batting cleanup behind Barry Bonds in the batting order. After all, his first season with the Giants he hit 29 home runs, drove in 121 runs and batted .250. The following year those numbers improved to 31, 128 and .297. In all six seasons he drove in over 100 runs (the only second sacker to ever put together six consecutive 100 RBI seasons), every other year he hit over 30 home runs, and at one point his batting average was up as high as .334 for a season. In 2003 he signed with the Houston Astros and slumped to only 22 home runs, 93 RBIs, before rebounding the following season with 27 and 107. Then last year he signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers and hit 29 homers, drove in 105 runs, and matched his career batting average of .289.
Kent started the 2006 season with 331 career home runs, and back on October 2, 2004 he hit his 278th home run as a second baseman, which moved him past Ryne Sandberg for the honor of being the all-time home run leader at that position. At this point you have to be thinking this guy is going to end up in the Hall of Fame. He has more home runs than Sandberg (331 to 282), more RBIs (1,312 to 1,061), and a higher batting average (.289 to 2.85). All of those numbers top those of Joe Morgan (268, 1,133, .271) as well. Kent is not the base stealer or the defensive player that Sandberg and Morgan were, but he has the hitting stats. Only Rogers Hornsby (1,318) and Charlie Gehringer (1,427) have more RBIs among second basemen in Cooperstown; Kent will pass Hornsby by the end of the month (UPDATE: he caught him tonight with his first home run of the season) and should catch Gehringer next year. But I think he has the stats to justify enshrinement right now (Barry Bonds and Milton Bradley have had serious run ins with Kent, but that might actually work in his favor with the Baseball Writers who do the voting).
So it is rather ironic that the MLB Series 14 figure of Jeff Kent shows him running the bases (I assume it is second base because it looks like he is rounding the bag and because I do not see a first or third base line, but your guess is as good as mine). This 6-inch figure shows Kent in the white home jersey of the Dodgers, wearing #12. They did a really nice job of capturing the Dodger blue of the sweatshirt, team name and batting helmet, and this entire series shows a marked improvement on the quality of the player's faces. Maybe if Kent finishes his career in Los Angeles he will go into Cooperstown as a Dodger, although the Hall might make him go in as a Giant. The other five figures in MLB Series 14 are Bobby Abreu of the Philadelphia Phillies, Aramis Ramierz of the Chicago Cubs, Mark Mulder now with the St. Louis Cardinals, a 2nd Edition figure of Jason Varitek of the Boston Red Sox, and a 4th Edition figure of Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankees.
