    Coloring without Spots
I really enjoyed finding this product. We orginally got a book with the paints. My daughter loved it so much, she asked for this one.
For a three year old, this product is a godsend. Just think, no more illustrations on the wall.
I highly recommend Crayola WonderColor markers and paint.

    Great Stuff
Mess Free...and a wonderful gift. If your little one likes to color like most do they will enjoy this a lot. Even our teenage babysitter likes this!!!

    A Parents Favorite!!!

    Terrible
I just took this toy out of the box for my 3 year old son. I had to swipe the "eraser" back and forth about 8 times for the image on the screen to erase. It is now back in the box and ready to go back to the store. Don't waste your time or your money!!

    Terrible quality; absolutely NO quality!!!
I have since seen other similar complaints on several websites and have written to polyconcept. I have to date gotten no satisfaction from either crayola or polyconcept. The lines are blurry, there is no focus to begin with. But the real problem is that the projector detaches constantly from the base, whenever you move it, touch it, etc. The dry erase markers don't erase from the board; and the light stopped working after the second time my son played with it. I can't fathom buying a new light bulb at $4.95 + s&h after a total hour of use in two sessions. I think it's probably wiring; who knows; but it's a disappointing flimsy cheap piece of garbage.

    Extremely Disappointed, Crayola!
Our daughter received this for Christmas 2005, and we couldn't wait to open it for her. It is very easy to assemble, and the first time you write on the board it's great. When you try to erase your art, it won't erase! The magnetic board is cheaply made, and absolutely will not completely erase, no matter how many times you swipe the eraser bar. We were VERY disappointed with this item, and would recommend that if you are considering this toy for your child, you should pass. Get them a Magna Doodle instead, those work wonderfully!

Excellent Combination of Supplies for Creating Art for Kids
This is an excellent collection of easy-to-use art supplies for children. It includes the drawing "tools" my daughters like to use most. This collection empowers children to be creative.

I suggest you buy this Crayola set, a case of cheap paper, a couple rolls of invisible tape, a pencil sharpener, a bottle of Elmer's school glue, and a stapler (for sure). Then give your child frequent access to the supplies to draw pictures and design things. Your child's creativity will emerge on its own.

      Highly recommended!

Great idea for keeping the mess in check
I bought my daughter these markers and fingerpaints after scrubbing crayon/marker lines off the wall one too many times. So far we've been very pleased. There's a good variety of colors of markers available and lots of different books/pads to choose from. She loves coloring pictures for grandma's fridge and I like that I don't have to search for colors on my walls.

The fingerpaints are rather soft and it's easy to get too much on a little one's fingers if they're not careful. You just have to show them how to carefully (and gently) rub their fingers across the top of the paint color rather than digging in. Also it does take a few seconds for the color to appear on the paper after it's been applied, so that takes a little getting used to.

These are also great for in the car, or when visting someplace where you don't want a mess. My biggest complaint is that the sets are little pricey, but Toys 'R Us seems to have BOGO sales every 3 or 4 months and I stock up then. Overall we're very pleased with these sets and they make a nice addition to our crayon and marker collection.

        Fun with the Grandson!
My three year old grandson and I have spent many hours coloring, finger painting and writing with Crayola Color products. They're great because they work only on the "magic" paper - no mess, no stress. It's all fun!

Happiness Is Not Getting It on the Carpet
I bought this gift for a friend's son, especially when I noticed that the markers would not show up anywhere except the special paper that comes with the kit. Fortunately, it really worked, which was not only a great relief to the boy's parents, but to me, too, for giving him a gift that won't contribute to a big cleanup for his folks.

          Waste of Money
This is not a very fun toy. My [...] got tired of filling the paint chamber because it would empty so quickly. He also ended up dipping the brush into the paint jars. He went through both jars of paint in under 10 minutes and was finished with the toy. There wasn't enough paint to even create a picture. The Happy Birthday pic on the back of the package must've taken over 20 bottles and a very skilled artist. I think Crayola should stick to making crayons.

          HORRRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This paint brush globs out the paint, doesn't spread to make any kind of picture and the brush barely holds any paint. We went through both of the provided things of paint in about five minutes and had no picture to show for it. Not to mention that the bottle is to small for the brush to fit in so when the paint is about half way down you can't get the brush in it to suck the paint up. I am so disappointed.

          this toy really stinks
Paint doesnt load or expel easily...waste of money and time...my daughter is happier with a bucket of plain water and a brush

            Good All Around Gift Idea
I purchased two of these for holiday gifts for a three year old girl and a seven year old boy. Both children continue to thoroughly enjoy the gift and I see smiles and cooperative, creative play whenever the big re-closeable boxes of delights are pulled out.

This is a wonderful kid friendly way for kids to be able to unleash their creativity. The box contains a good variety of great products... more than enough to satisfy most kids on most days. It is also a great chance to sample lots of cool crayola offerings without having to commit hefty sums of money to buy each one separately.

Excellent for independent clean-up because everything fits easily right back into the big see-through box. All that, plus you get the fun of seeing all the beautiful ideas the kids will come up with.

I will be buying many of these for birthday gifts in the future.

            This Is GREAT
I got this toy for christmas and the moment i got it i loved it,i think every kid should get one

Wonderful Set, but contents and colors will vary
I got this set (along with the Super Art Craft Chest) for my daughter for Christmas. This set had more than was shown/expected and far exceeded my expectations. While my set DID NOT have the modeling clay as shown, it did have 3 different boxes of crayons including classic, neon or flourescent, and construction paper crayons, at least 2 sets of markers, colored pencils, sidewalk chalk, a coloring book, paint, and the plastic crayon/marker holder (which as a different color than shown). The only weak part of the set is the coloring book, but the supplies inside the tub are outstanding and inspiring for young artists. By all means, if your child likes to draw, paint, and color, then your child will LOVE this kit and get plenty of use out of it! By the way, I prefer this set to the Craft set, but both are wonderful! The tote itself will be bigger than you are expecting and you can add any existing supplies you have to it!

              Useless case
Crayons, pencils, etc. better purchased on their own. The enclosed paper is too small for any projects. The case is a plastic tub with a cheap latch and the coloring utensils fall out of the flimsy inset when you try to close the case. My 4 and 5 year olds hate this toy!

                Lots of fun....
I bought this for my 2-year-old and he likes it a lot (I keep the markers in a safe place, though....markers and 2-year-olds are a dangerous combination). I especially like the reverse side of the workspace; you can put paper over it and lightly rub the crayon to see images come through. I like it as much as he does. I think it will be used for a long time.

The only thing I don't like is the price....I got it on clearance. I don't think it's worth the full price.

                  Expected More from Crayola
I don't usually get taken in by commercials, but apparently I was blindsided by this one. Although this had such great promise to be a wonderful outlet for creativity, it proved to be an excercise in frustration. We even read and followed the directions (dilute the paint!). In a nutshell: it takes a long time for the paint to travel down the tube and splatter out the end; adding too much paint will create a runny mess; the funnel easily becomes unbalanced, shakes, stops and is difficult to control; the colors are very weak, contrary to the commercial; my kids (ages 2, 4, 6, and 8) all quickly moved on; the paint congealed and now appears to be a permanent part of the inside of the tube; and last (but not least!) it stains even promptly laundered clothing. I expected so much more from a trusted name like Crayola. Your money would be better spent buying basic chalk. You'll even have enough left over to treat the whole family to goodies from the ice cream truck. Perhaps a melting popsicle would provide better entertainment than the Color Cyclone!

                  Very displeased with performance...
Just as the previous review states: I bought this toy for my daughter, age 3.5. At that age, kids are supposed to LOVE paint or anything to do with it. Well, after trying for half an hour to make it work for her in the 90+ degree heat in Florida, she asked to go inside.(that should be your first clue)

It wasn't any fun at all, and here's why:

                  1) The paint is very thick. I thought it might just be from sitting inside in the cold air conditioning. But after being outside (in 90+ degree heat), the paint didn't thin out at all, and when we turned the machine on, hardly any paint came out. I was *expecting* a Spin Art for the sidewalk. We got some little paint splatters, but nothing like is shown on the commercials.

I called the Toys R Us I bought it from and they agreed to take it back: being used with a destroyed box...

It's easy, just read the directions!
I've noticed other reviewers saying they have had a lot of trouble using this toy. My brother, mother, and I purchased one and have fallen in love with it. Our combined age is 89. :)

Most important is to simply read the directions. The paint isn't ready to go right away and there is a line on the bottles to show how high to fill the bottle with water. Then make sure you shake the bottles a lot.

When getting the paint into the machine drop it directly into the hole and play with the motor speed to make different sizes of circles. Another way to change circle size is to move the swirly blue leg up and down. This will move the motor higher and lower from the ground, creating looser and tighter circles.

Even if it isn't as perfect as what you think it may be, just enjoy the time you have playing with your friends or loved ones.
