Don't waste your moneyOur 2 year old has a ball playing with this. It's hardly an educational toy, but it does keep him busy for a long time. The biggest problem we have is that it cannot be cleaned. We tried getting some dirt off the botom right corner with a little water and a sponge (just dabbing, not scrubbing). Now, that corner can't be used (water doesn't change its color anymore). My advice is to put your money toward an item that can be kept clean and has a little more educational value.
rest easy it is only water. we bought this toy for our 2 yr old daughter for her birthday because she loves to draw especially on the walls. I wanted something that she could draw on that i did not have to worry about. Now i can say that it is a toy more for 3 and up my son who is 3 loves it and plays with it a lot he does not mind that it is only in blue by the time he fills it up he is bored with it and by the time it dries he is ready to go again. I was suprised how much he enjoyed it because of the reviews i had read. My daughter on the other hand still is drawing on the walls but now with water and instead of eating crayons she is sucking the water out of the pens. On occasion she will go over and draw and she loves splattering the water to make rain. I think it is something that she will grow into and really enjoy when she hits 2 1/2 and for now i don't have to worry about repainting my walls or the digestion of colored wax and the plus is she now drinks water.
My baby brother LOVES itMy 18 month old brother got this because he absolutely loves writing but most crayons and markers go straight in his mouth, not good. Anyways, he can play with this for HOURS and HOURS. Because it has small parts we make sure to watch him. It is very durable and, considering it's on sale, it's fairly inexpensive considering it's reusability. Also, you can wash it with warm soapy water if food or anything gets on it! We got the smaller aquadoodle pad for my 3 year old cousin and it is also very nice. I compare hers to a magnadoodle. But yes, this is a great product and I recomend it to any parent!

unsatisfiedI expected more of this product. Assembly to be done should have and could have already been done by manufacturer. The clip for the paper is terrible - there should be two. The paper falls to easy. The side bars are too easy for the kids to lift.
Review of two sided easelI purchased this for my two year old twin nieces. It was almost perfect, it only had a clamp to hold drawing paper on one side so I took a clamp from a clipboard and installed it on the other side. The children love it.
double easleMy daycare kids enjoy this.
I love it because it is the right height

chalkboard is difficult to eraseThe chalkboard is very difficult to erase. I actually had to wash the chalk off and dry it for my grandson to use again. Any help would be appreciated. My grandson loves this and I would hate to have to return it.
Great buyI bought this for my then 2 and 4 year old. It is the perfect size for our narrow sunroom and the kids love it. Great hit at playgroups too. Easy to clean, I just use babywipes. The organizer tray is quite practical and does not pop out easily. I put non-skid pads on the bottom so that the easel does not move around while the kids are drawing.
Step 2 Easel, Great ProductI purchased this for my 3 year old's birthday. It arrived 2 weeks earlier than estimated, I was impressed. This easel is wonderful, even came with dry erase markers and chalk and an eraser. Right away she used the markers on the chalk side, we panicked. The marker washed right off! WOW! Don't hesitate to buy this. Easy to clean!

Very Cool KeepsakeGreat idea! The bound book is sweet, not cheesy at all, nice quality. Makes a great gift for grandparents. My teenagers even enjoyed making them.
Super fun, educational keepsakeI bought this kit for my 6 year old daughter. She couldn't wait to start drawing. She dictated the story for each page and drew extra "love notes" on the remaining pages, and even deticated it to her Nan Nan. We opted to add the "About the auther" with a photo! My daughter did get impatient waiting for the book to come back,.. but since Katrina the mail has been very unreliable. Finally, her package arrived and she LOVED it! We rushed it right over to her Nan Nan. It is a perfect little book, that will be cherished forever. I've already bought 2 more!!
Wonderful productWonderful product. We bought this as a gift for my son's 7th birthday as a fun incentive to get him a little writing and spelling practice. He loved to make his own books at home with computer paper and the stapler, so a real book was a huge hit. He thought this was great because it is a real bound book with his own words and pictures. His book will be a cherished keepsake and I'm sure it will be great fun to look at when he is grown.

TerribleI just took this toy out of the box for my 3 year old son. I had to swipe the "eraser" back and forth about 8 times for the image on the screen to erase. It is now back in the box and ready to go back to the store. Don't waste your time or your money!!
Terrible quality; absolutely NO quality!!!I have since seen other similar complaints on several websites and have written to polyconcept. I have to date gotten no satisfaction from either crayola or polyconcept. The lines are blurry, there is no focus to begin with. But the real problem is that the projector detaches constantly from the base, whenever you move it, touch it, etc. The dry erase markers don't erase from the board; and the light stopped working after the second time my son played with it. I can't fathom buying a new light bulb at $4.95 + s&h after a total hour of use in two sessions. I think it's probably wiring; who knows; but it's a disappointing flimsy cheap piece of garbage.
Extremely Disappointed, Crayola! Our daughter received this for Christmas 2005, and we couldn't wait to open it for her. It is very easy to assemble, and the first time you write on the board it's great. When you try to erase your art, it won't erase! The magnetic board is cheaply made, and absolutely will not completely erase, no matter how many times you swipe the eraser bar. We were VERY disappointed with this item, and would recommend that if you are considering this toy for your child, you should pass. Get them a Magna Doodle instead, those work wonderfully!

Great for math skills. This is really an outstanding tool for math, money, and sequential memory skills. I appreciated the fact that there are 2 differenct books included. With some coaching, my 6 year old jumped right in - the games are fun and challenging. If your kids like Sponge Bob, this is a delicious Crabby Patty with the works.

Not that Educational...I thought this would be great for my 2-year-old. It would teach him letters and eventually be able to draw the letters. Then he received it for Christmas...
It has a cute concept, but I was so frustrated with the educational aspect of the toy. There's a feature on it that ask you to draw the letter then push the button. It doesn't matter if you draw the letter right or even at all. It gives a "hooray" either way. That's not educational. How are the kid's going to know if they're doing it wrong aside from us telling them so.
If you're buying it for the educational aspect, I'd say save your money.

LostMy daughter loved this toy. We played with it in the car frequently and typically took it where ever we went. The problem is the place to store the letter cards is not secure. I think we now only have two or three cards left. We like the toy but would love to see a design improvement that has a locking storage space for the cards.
Use it with your childMy daughter has enjoyed the Doodle Pro Learning Bus for several years and I enjoy using it with her.
I agree with other reviewers that it would be better if it did not congratulate the child regardless of whether they wrote the correct letter, number, or shape. However, since the child is drawing/writing free hand, it is not surprising that the toy has no algorithm built in to check for the correct letter or number. I believe image recognition is still considered a moderate to hard problem to solve with high accuracy. That is why you should interact with your child as they use this toy.
A feature I am grateful for is that there are two volume levels. The loudest is too loud, while the lower setting is okay.

Aqua Doodle Thomas the Tank Engine Toot N' Doodle

train only worked once!this was purchased for my 2 yr old son who loved to draw and scribble. He was so excited to see thomas riding the track - well it worked the day we opened it and never again! I would recommend not spending the money on this one and get the regular aquadoodle for 1/2 the price! You are not able to wash the mat so if you get anything on it (eg. crayon or dirt) you can't get it out.
NOT DURABLE AT ALLThe roller for the track broke with in a few days the felt came off of it. We can't get the pen to even open. The tracks have to be perfect for Thomas to follow.
Very impressiveI brought this toy for my son, for Christmas. I was skeptical on the toy, but I thought why not. My son loved it, and it really works. I don't know how the train actually follows the tracks, but it really does. My son loves to play with it all the time, and guess what there's no mess to clean up. I defiantly would tell people to buy this product. AAA++++

Alone time at last!My [...] loves this desk. He really works the book that came with the LeapPad, and loves to do his art at the desk now. He usually wants to interact only with other people involved, but with this, he will focus so much at his desk, I dare not bother him. I would have given it 5 stars, but the chair makes me worry a little. He is pretty careful, but admittedly, the style of the chair makes it too easy to tip. He hasn't tipped over, but parents should still keep this in mind. I am very happy with this purchase.
A good value, lasting entertainmentFor the money, this is a great educational toy.
With the replaceable leap pad "books," you can extend the usefulness of the desk. There are enough activities to keep your child occupied, and of course the desk can be used as a table when you aren't using the electronic book.
The construction of the desk is only ok. It is all plastic and the legs are somewhat flimsy. The desk wobbles. The chair should be adequate in strength for any child that will be using this desk.
For the promotional price of $15, you can't go wrong.

Super Easy! This set was so easy to put together and my [...] son helped me while he eagerly awaited to play with it! Lots to keep him busy. Leap products are always great and educational and this one is a bonus with the table, chair and bonus accessories!
