I gave this cute game to my dear friend's daughter on her 5th birthday 2 years ago and she is still playing it! Her mom is careful about keeping the pieces with the game so the whole game is still in tact and in great condition. My friend's daughter has played this game with both her step brothers and her dad on many occasions. Every time I visit, she has the game out and we play at least a game or two! The game is cute, fun, and is not one that will just sit on the shelf. I've given it to my niece also (who is another little princess!)

This game is just plain fun. My husband and I don't mind playing it with our daughter --and we've had to play it nearly every night since buying it almost 3 weeks ago. If brothers, dads and grandpas are hesitant to play because of the jewelry, they don't have to actually put it on as they collect it (but it's so sweet when they do!) The game is simple and easy to learn, so when friends come over for playdates, it takes no time at all to start having fun together. It's a good "starter" game for kids: it doesn't have a bunch of rules or thought involved to play. While not necessarily educational, you can use this or any game to help teach your child how to be a gracious winner or loser. The jewelry isn't made to last forever, but you can always substitute other costume jewelry for any pieces that are lost or broken.

I bought this game for my 3 year old daughter and she loves it. Although the recommended age is 5, she is quite capable of playing this game. She explains the directions to her Aunts & Grandma when she plays. Because she can't read yet, it's nice that each space depicts what to do. This is a great game, fun for the entire family, boys and girls! I highly recommend this game.

This doll is really pretty! So pretty, that I confiscated it off of my kids! She has such pretty hair, it seems a shame to let children ruin it. Her clothes fall off really easily, so it's hard to keep a descent outfit on her. My children did like the way she "lit up".Not very educational, but then again,I didn't buy it for that.

I'm very suprised of all these bad reviews on this toy. I mean, this toy is VERY cool!! And it really sparks your imagination. Her wings, clothes, and her crop top stays on really well!! Only her shoes didn't stay on. But that's actually fine with me. Her shoes are very thick, and in my opinion, they don't look good on Jewelia's thin feet. When you put her skirt on, remember to but the front part on first(It might not be on the instructions, but that is due to my own experiances.) then, when you snap on the the back part, be sure to clip on at least one part of the front skirt, so that the back part and the front part will be conected. After that, it won't fall unless you threw it, or simply removed it. Her wings are very very beautiful!! It sparks with 3 different colors, Purple, White, and Turqoise. It's very brilliant. I love her glowing teqniches. After you push the button at her back, her body, and her two legs will glow altogether, then, the right leg dims down, and then the body follows, afterwards, two legs darkened, then, all togaether, they glow again, and they stop. (I'm not really sure if everysingle Barbie has the same glowing system, so I had my own Barbie for an example.) Her whole body is like...see through, except for her legs. Her face is really cute, and her hairstyle is like...there are two pony tails at her back, and then, it's parted in to 3 parts, and at the front, it is highlighted blue, with a little remains of brown. Here are my explanations for my stars:

Fun: Defeinatly!!! I spend hours playing with her, and flying her around the house!!!

Educational: Not if you're learning about fairies!! but sometimes, toys are for people to enjoy, not to LEARN!!

Durablility: I'm not really sure, but due to her stiff body, it MUST last me for a looooooong time!!

Overall: This is a really cute toy, and i highly recommened it to any fairy lovers, or Barbie lovers. A very sweet barbie to add to anyone's collection. Hope this Helpes!!!

My mom and I went to the store.And I wanted this insted of Crystal.Suddently the wings fell off,plus it was not good because one of the tops broke.I cryed for to long.And when I was at home I started to growl.But I want Crystal now.So now I a'm going to leave bye!!!!!!!!!Love Fairy Jenny

I know this is possible, but shouldnt they have a doll most black girls can relate to??!!! Concidering they have FOUR white girls already!! come on!!!! Another thing that bothers me is on myscene.com at the part about the teen awards they have madison "wondering what she would look like if she were blond". ?????????????????????????

Other than this this doll is very tastefully made and has enough accessories.
Her hair (another problem) is curly but not good for combing.
The hollywood movie is REALLY good. And the dolls are cute too.

Incase it makes a different, I would like to start by saying that I DO own Madison. I have had her for awhile. So I know what I'm talking about. If you find something in my review that disagrees with YOUR Madison doll, please don't write back and ask me to change my review.

Madison has ocean mist blue eyes with blue and yellow eyeshadow. The vibrant colors match well with her dress.Long thick dark brown locks make up her hair. The hair may be a little crummy at first, but after smoothing it for a couple of weeks, it will be very smooth and flowy. Her lips are a dull red. This time, I suggest TAKING OUT the glasses because t will benefit the har. Madison's jewelery wasn't sparkly as most other dolls' jewelery was. If an unnexperienced doll player (such as one of my best friends) plays with this doll, the necklace may brake (as mine did). The evening coat is quite elegant, especially if turned around. The halter dress is full of sparkles and colors. It definately qualifies for the red carpet. At first, I thought it wasn't as pretty as the others, but when I got the doll, I quit doubtin' and started shoutin'! The first shoes are pretty much an old pattern. Madison looks as breath-taking in her 2nd outfit as the first! The wrap is so soft, the shirt so lacey, and the capris so fabulous! The 2nd pair of sandals are the same pattern as Nolee's and Project Runway Barbie's but different colors. The accesories are so cool. My favorite ones are the dvd cases, because they open and store mini plastic cd's that can then be stored in the laptop.

Madison looks great on display in her director's chair with the ropes in front of her. A great idea is to get some red constuction paper or felt and pretend she's on the red carpet! What's amazing is that you may purchase this doll on sale. Not to say that customers, more specifically I, wouldn't pay the full price for her. Madison may have some minor defaults, but is much-worth her price. I indeed recommend her, but for more serious customer's (10+). Thank you for reading my review of My Scene Goes Hollywood Madison.

12 YEAR OLD FAN OF MY SCENE, BRATZ, AND BARBIE

I ordered this for my young cousin, but was disappointed with it and actually returned it. I thought it would make a nice gift because it is creative and active, and unlike some other bead jewelry sets for kids, the relatively large wooden beads made it appropriate for younger children. Unfortunately, upon arrival I noticed the colors were ugly and also the box had a very strong smell of paint fumes. The colors were dark in tone-- dark goldenrod instead of bright cherry yellow, mossy green instead of bright green--and I didn't think they looked very pretty. And if that wasn't discouraging enough, the overpowering smell bothered me enough to send it back.

I have owned this doll for over six months now. She is in wonderful condition. I'm not sure where to start, because everything about this doll takes my breath away! I will describe my doll to you.

Lindsay Lohan, a popular actress and singer, is now a beloved collector doll in millions of homes. I'd like to start by saying that this doll not onlt resembles, but looks exactly like the real Lindsay Lohan(before she died her hair blonde then brown). Everything about her looks like the real Lindsay Lohan-from her long red hair, to her freckles, to her eyes, and even her smile! $30 was a wonderful bargain for a collectors doll so beautiful with so much durability. Her coat is super soft, and easy to get on. Her dress is beautiful. It has a flower as a pin. Her extra outfit has many possibilities. The extra skirt may be used as a dress, or it can be matched with the blouse, or it can be paired with the white shirt. All of these options may be used with the coat or wrap. On top of that, there are two pairs of shoes to choose from. All the clothes match, so you don't have to worry about the combination outfits looking weird. Both shoes are easy to slide on, but personally, I don't care for the pink shoes. They make Lindsay's feet look large and pointed. But that's only my opinion. Lindsay has amazing accessories. Her director's char and red-carpet ropes look fabulous when on display. All of the little accessories, I won't get into. They are somewhat useful, but not so important. I would like to describe one of them. The laptop has a cd drive that can be opened. The dvd cases can then be opened, and the dvd's inside of them may be places into the cd drive. Nothing will happen, of course, but it's great to pretend.

So, do I recommend this doll? Most definately! What's not to love?

The person who received it is very happy however I am very diappointed with the billing. I had a $10 gift card and it would not reflect the discount when I tried to purchase online so I called in and talked to someone. He said that the discount would not show up immediately online but it would be applied when my card is charged. Well, I was charged the full price without the discount. That was very disappointing and I didn't take action because I am busy and didn't want to have to deal with it. Instead I told everyone I know about my bad experience.

love, this toy! my 3 yr old recieved this as a gift and cannot get enough of it! she even sleeps with it! she puts on, then takes off all of the pretty plastic jewelery. she especially loves the sturdy little jewlery box that stores everything. now, i dont worry about her wanting to play with my jewlery anymore! i give this a 5 star rating!

I purchased this item for my niece who was turning 6. I liked that it was not only a jewelry box but that she was able to use her creativity to personalize it. She did the project the week of her party, so I know it must have been something that appealed to her because it just did not sit around in the box for a long time. I also asked her about how she enjoyed painting it and using it and I got the thumbs up! Her mother did mention that she had to hold the stencils for my niece while she painted them or they would move around, so a little one may need help with those if they choose to use them.

i bought this for my cousins 10th birthday she is currently very interested in arts and crafts. she just loved the whole idea of getting to personalize her own jewerly box. it comes with more than enough paint to finish the box and with a index that tells you how to combine colors. the red velvet is of excelent quality. this poduct is hightly reccomended by my self and my little cousin.

I thought this would just be a box lined with velvet - anyways that's what I used when I was a kid. This jewelry box has all the compartments of an adult jewelry box! Hooks for hanging bracelets and dangle earrings, 3 rectangular shaped compartments, a long ring and earring compartment, and a pouch for jewelry that doesn't fit into those places. It is lined with plush red velvet.

The box is put together, surprisingly, with tendon and mortise construction. This results in a strong, interlocking box that's not going to fall apart with use. I expect other manufacturers would just glue the end pieces and over time with handling, they will break.

The hinge opens the top smoothly. All the pieces line up perfectly and have been sanded so there are no rough edges. The base of the box has a wavey design that gives it a fancy touch. I'm delighted with this jewelry box for my niece.

I bought this cat for my daughter after much anticipation and we were very dissappointed! Most of the cat's phrases are garbled and makes her sound demonized! We thought it was the batteries at first so we put new ones in but it still didn't work! FRUSTRATION! The cat could be soooo cute if it actually worked properly! The wiring is obviously not in right and it is too hard to get at with the huge battery pack in the way. Overall,I believe it could have been a great toy so buy one and pray that yours works. If it doesn't, return it.

This toy was a mistake right out of the box..In other words, it didn't work right out of the box. My daughter and I were so disapointed, don't waste your money even if it is only 10$, which is what I paid for it..............

This sux. My lil sis got it 4 christmas and only two of her 'phrases' are actually in the "serfina" voice. The others aren't. She was like that when we took her outta da box. we tried new batteries and it diddnt work. don't by this 4 ur kid. (I tried to give it 0 starz but it wouldn't let me). I'm all for Barbie but this diddn't work and it sux. DON'T MAKE UR KID SUFFER! DON'T BUY IT! BUY THEM SOMETHING ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! did ne1 listen?

I got this for my daughter one year.
And it influenced her a lot my little 9 year old is going around dressing like a prostitute and thinks its cool because the bratz dress like that.

I was rather alarmed at the parent that stated that their child goes around dressed like a prostitute. Where's the parent? Who's in control? Sounds like this parent needs some therapy. I'm tired of hearing people blame others or things for the mishaps that are happening in their own backyard and blaming it on someone else's. Stop! Get some therapy. If you raise your child with morals and values, they will have a good root to thrive on. If you don't, they will grow uncontrolled. If you're having trouble with your little one right now, get some personal help so that you can obtain control ~ before she's 16 and pregnant, running away, or doing drugs.

I've bought my 8 year old Bratz dolls since they came out. She's never asked to dress like one. She has around 50 of these dolls. She plays with them, But is more interested in the Discovery channel, reading, making all A's, and worshiping Jesus. She's a straight A student that loves to draw and play the piano. I can not say that I'm perfect, but I spend a lot of time with my little one. I talk to her about the dangers of strangers and what to do in an emergency situation. Her dad takes her fishing and I'm a certified swim instructor ~ so I've taught her safety and swim lessons. If you spend a lot of time with your children, they idolize you....not the TV, not the music they hear, not plastic dolls.....but reality.

In this day and age people forget about it is not what your children watch or play with it is what the parents teach them. These toys are fun for children to play. If you are worried about what your kids are doing than keep an eye on them. Talk to them. Spend quality time with them. This is what influences our children most. Make sure and be an active part of their life. Join PTA, take part in school activities. TALK TO YOUR CHILDREN. I love my daughter and if I am involved in her life and go to church with her on sundays then this is the most important thing. Why are people trying to put there opinions on other people instead of putting their opinions upon their children. Quite a cunundrum I know. When we stop concerning ourselves with what other people are doing and thinking the world will be a better place. Our children will have thoughts of their own. Bratz dolls are no threat to our society, just as the books that were burned because society had a problem with it.

I gave this as a gift to my 4 yr old niece. It was a huge hit with both her and her parents. They live in a small apartment and I am always concerned about toys with small pieces and storage ease. I will agree with the other reviews - the case is very cheap and poorly made...makes it tough to keep things neat and tidy. We ended up putting the Polly stuff in a zip lock bag and tossed the plastic case out. The dolls have proven to be a wonderful toy for her and her play dates alike. It is a great gift to consider if your recipient is pressed for storage space.

My daughter got this set for Christmas this year and she loves it. The outfits are very cute and my daughter can easily change the outfits on the little dolls. I do agree with the last review that the lid could be made better. It would be nice if it closed tighter and it has already fallen off several times in the last 3 days. Overall it is a good toy and my daughter has really enjoyed the outfits and accessories.

The dolls and outfits in this set are adorable and the case was a cute idea. The only problem that kept me from giving this item a high star rating is the case itself. I wish the case closed more tightly, it closes with a small gap along the sides also the entire case lid keeps coming off easily. Overall tho, aside from the annoyance of the lid, for the price it was still worth purchasing because as I've said the dolls and outfits are so adorable and a great addition to my 8yr old daughters polly collection.
