I would have bought this item, but the shipping ($5.53) was almost as much as the item itself ($5.99). Thanks, but no thanks. I'll go to a competitor. Weird thing is -- other Play-Doh items are listed with FREE shipping!

My daughter's friend got this set for her birthday. I was amazed at the range of colors, and so were the kids. They all dug right in and started playing. My favorite was the unique black play-doh, which I assume is for goth children.

I bought this for our three-year old daughter. This product is not made for a three-year old as the headpieces do not fit properly into the actual head. My daughter became frustrated trying to play with this toy so her 10-year brother tried to help her out. He couldn't even get the head pieces to fit. You have to force the piece into the head by squeezing the plastic and forcing it in. Decided to throw the whole thing away after my finger was pinched between the forehead and the headpiece. Again, Don't waste your money!

My three and seven year old daughters have been playing with this toy for over an hour now. The three hair pieces that came with our set slide right onto the head with ease (we do not have the problem that the last reviewer had). I do, however, have to help set the little figure back on the base after the play doh is filled in; if it is not set in properly the play doh will not come out correctly. I am happy with this purchase, especially since the set currently comes with a free set of multi-colored play doh.

My son received this as a gift and played with it once. Play-doh gets stuck in the cracks, making it difficult to clean. The markers and crayons do not fit in the alotted slots. There are so many other things that are wrong with it. I should have returned it when I had the chance.

I BOUGHT THIS TOY FOR MY 3 YEAR OLD AND 6 YEAR OLD IT ENTERTAINS THEM FOR HOURS.DESPITE WHAT OTHER REVIEWERS SAID ,I THINK IT IS EASY TO CLEAN .JUST WAIT FOR THE PLAYDOH TO DRY AND VACUUM IT UP WITH THE HOSE OF THE VACUUM.I FIND NO PROBLEMS PLAYDOH IN GENERAL IS MESSY NOT THE TABLE.

My 2 and 4 year old children love this table!! It was easy to put together and is larger than I thought it would be. I was impressed at how sturdy it is. Both of them can cozily fit across from each other at the table. I really don't understand all of the complaints regarding cleaning the crevices (or all of the negative reviews to begin with actually). It is a play doh table, why does it have to be spotless? I let it dry for a little bit, dump off the dried pieces outside and then wipe down the main playing area and it is fine. There is a small cubby under the table where you can fit paper or some of the cutters. I think that the marker container is fine and we have not had one marker or crayon fall out. As far as the playdoh cans not fitting in the holes on the side - I agree that the cans do not fit well in the top hole, but we have not had a problem with any of the other holes. I just stopped putting a play doh can in the top hole and the problem was solved. I love having the fun factory and the hair grower attached to the table. I think this is a great toy and will provide alot of fun for a long time.

This bucket looks like it would provide plenty of opportunity for creative play, but it did not. The "cans of play-doh" were not standard size, but rather, the tiny 2 ounce ones that are pretty useless. The food molds are too small and the dough got stuck. Because of that, my kids left the molds filled with play-doh on the table and went off to play in their "kitchen" where they played with wooden food toys.

You are better off with simple cans of playdoh and a bunch of cookie cutters. This toy was really junky.

The only reason I gave this a 2 for durability is because the pieces are made of plastic and wont break.

This toy is absolutely worth high recomendation. Lots of fun not only for little kids. I bought it for 3yr old son and my 14yold daughter loves to play with this set. So am I, we have a great fun to make meals for our family. We play the store, restaurant..etc

My 4yr. old daughter wanted this toy more than anyother for christmas. Once she got it and we both played with it, she left it after 15 minutes and it now sits in the corner.The head falls off all the time, there is no place to put the extra pieces of the toy, and the molds are a pain to use.It would be better to buy play-doh alone instead of a "kit".

My mom got this for my son's 4th birthday. He wanted to open the box and play with it as soon as he unwrapped it! Since he opened it at a party, I told him we would play with it the following day. The first thing he said when he woke up the following day was "Let's play Doggy Dr." He loves it. We play with it together and I find it is a good conversation starter about going to the doctor, the importance of taking medicine when you are sick, keeping healthy, etc. We talk about how people and pets may feel when they are sick, how we may need to see a dr to get better. We also talk about taking care of our pets to prevent illness. All of this while we check the dog's tongue, listen to his heart, give him a bandage, and so on. So, this is much more than just a simple toy. It provides an opportunity to talk with your child, teach him/her about what doctors do, how they can help us (and doggies), alleviate fears of seeing a dr, taking medicine, etc.

The problems I have with this toy: (1) the min. age listed is 3. At 4, my son has a hard time pushing the play doh through the syringe and pushing the dog's head down to extrude the tongue and ear wax. (2) As with other play doh toys and tools, after we are finished, I have to dig play doh out from the crevices--in this case, the dog's head and ear.

I wasn't expecting a lot from this toy, but I was pleasantly surprised. There were more things to do with the play doh doggy doctor- facilitating creative play- than I had originally realized. My son (6 ys. old) spent a long time playing with it the first few days, and has since not gone back to it. It doesn't provide hours of play equivalent to a game boy or something more exciting, but I know he will get in the mood to play with play- doh again and it will be ready for him for another little while until it goes back on the shelf. Overall pleased.

I prefer to buy activities over toys for the kids. I bought this for my 3 year-old niece. She and her 4 year-old sister played with it the whole weekend and had a lot of fun.

I bought this for my son when he was a few months of turning 3. He absolutely fell in love. Even his older sisters (9 and 7) joined in on the fun. It allows for children to use their creativity and imagination. All the plastic pieces are high quality and will last. The only thing you'll have to eventually replace is the play doh once it's been through enough.

I got this toy for my son, age 22 months. This was his first Play Doh set so I wasnt sure if he would be too young for it. However, it turns out that this is his favorite toy. He plays with it every day for at least 30-45 minutes. Its very easy for young kids to make the animals (I kept the picture on the front of the box to help him) and he can play quite well with it on his own. For 10 dollars, its a great value. He loves it and overlooks all of his expensive toys in favor of it (to my chagrin).

My 2 year old and 4 year old love this playdoh set. I recommend it highly.

This is such a great toy for kids and parents. We play play doh for hours. The barrel is a great toy. All the item inside are really well made and they have a lot of cute shapes. This really is somethig fun for kids and parents to enjoy together.

This is the BEST Play Doh set currently available in terms of the amount of play doh and the number of different cutting, molding and extruding tools that you get for your money. The tools are the larger molding tools that are easy for small hands to use. In addition, all of the items come in a barrel (with a screw-on lid), not a bucket (with a snap-on lid). The barrel is sturdier and keeps the play doh fresher than the bucket. In addition, the barrel has more accessories than all of the various Play Doh bucket sets that are currently on the market. The Play-Doh Fun Fridge is the other Play Doh set that is really good (if you can find it ... I've only seen it at dealsafari) in terms of amount of play doh and number of molds (over 20 pieces, includes 8 cans of play doh and 4 meal makin' molds for eight dollars). The Fun Fridge that I am referring to is different (and has way more) than the Fun with Food Food Fixin' Fridge that I've seen at various stores. If you are looking to buy your first play doh set OR you want to buy one that has everything you need, this is the play doh set for you.
