Our 2 year old has a ball playing with this. It's hardly an educational toy, but it does keep him busy for a long time. The biggest problem we have is that it cannot be cleaned. We tried getting some dirt off the botom right corner with a little water and a sponge (just dabbing, not scrubbing). Now, that corner can't be used (water doesn't change its color anymore). My advice is to put your money toward an item that can be kept clean and has a little more educational value.

we bought this toy for our 2 yr old daughter for her birthday because she loves to draw especially on the walls. I wanted something that she could draw on that i did not have to worry about. Now i can say that it is a toy more for 3 and up my son who is 3 loves it and plays with it a lot he does not mind that it is only in blue by the time he fills it up he is bored with it and by the time it dries he is ready to go again. I was suprised how much he enjoyed it because of the reviews i had read. My daughter on the other hand still is drawing on the walls but now with water and instead of eating crayons she is sucking the water out of the pens. On occasion she will go over and draw and she loves splattering the water to make rain. I think it is something that she will grow into and really enjoy when she hits 2 1/2 and for now i don't have to worry about repainting my walls or the digestion of colored wax and the plus is she now drinks water.

My 18 month old brother got this because he absolutely loves writing but most crayons and markers go straight in his mouth, not good. Anyways, he can play with this for HOURS and HOURS. Because it has small parts we make sure to watch him. It is very durable and, considering it's on sale, it's fairly inexpensive considering it's reusability. Also, you can wash it with warm soapy water if food or anything gets on it! We got the smaller aquadoodle pad for my 3 year old cousin and it is also very nice. I compare hers to a magnadoodle. But yes, this is a great product and I recomend it to any parent!

This was a cute idea, however the product is not made very well. The stamps are on squares of rubber w/ adhesive backing. The backing doesn't hold all that well and some have peeled off/fell off on occasion, the stamp characters aren't raised off their base very high and the ink isn't very... potent. So when you try for ink on the stamp you need to work to coat the ink on and when you stamp, you have to press so hard to get the character to fully transfer. When you press hard enough to do so, you get a back ground of the square stamp on your paper from the base stamping the paper. My 4 year old daughter isn't interested in using them as stamps as they "didn't work"; however she frequently likes using them as wood blocks for building things. Overprice for underquality.

My girls are having a blast making up new passwords, and the big brother is having fun trying to figure it out every time it changes. The only recommendation is to be very patient and speak clearly. Any background noise or change in inflection, stops the journal from opening. But if you remember that it is is toy, you'll have a good time.

My friend has this, and she loves it! I really want it!!! She says that it is really fun, and her two sisters and three brothers can't get in it! This is a really cool jornal and it lasts a long time! Get it for your daughters!

This is a great way to get me writing. It takes you about a half an hour to get it set up, but after that it is great fun. It lets you whisper if you don't want your siblings to get in. It is voice activated so it is almost impossible for anyone else(besides you) to get in. It talks to you so you know what you are doing. You can also put your pictures inside the flaps. If I go to the Kitchen i know if one of my sisters or brother is trying to get in because there is a loud "intruder" alert. if you are gone as soon as you open it, it tells you how many intruders there has been. I have 3 siblings 2 parents 2 birds and one dog i guess you can say we live in a "full house" and no matter what no one can get into this except me. DO YOUR DAUGHTER A FAVOR AND BUY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Save yourself some money and just buy the Crayola washable markers. They are much cheaper and work the same.

Since the markers are used with the Doodle Bear/Monster, you are sort of stuck with using them, instead of being able to use other washable markers. I thought they were sort of over-priced.

This is the perfect add-on if you are buying the Doodle Bear as a gift! My niece was thrilled to get the Doodle Bear from me as a birthday present, and was even happier when she saw that she would have more fun options with this accessory package! It is indeed a MUST-HAVE add-on!

My [...] loves this desk. He really works the book that came with the LeapPad, and loves to do his art at the desk now. He usually wants to interact only with other people involved, but with this, he will focus so much at his desk, I dare not bother him. I would have given it 5 stars, but the chair makes me worry a little. He is pretty careful, but admittedly, the style of the chair makes it too easy to tip. He hasn't tipped over, but parents should still keep this in mind. I am very happy with this purchase.

For the money, this is a great educational toy.

With the replaceable leap pad "books," you can extend the usefulness of the desk. There are enough activities to keep your child occupied, and of course the desk can be used as a table when you aren't using the electronic book.

The construction of the desk is only ok. It is all plastic and the legs are somewhat flimsy. The desk wobbles. The chair should be adequate in strength for any child that will be using this desk.

For the promotional price of $15, you can't go wrong.

This set was so easy to put together and my [...] son helped me while he eagerly awaited to play with it! Lots to keep him busy. Leap products are always great and educational and this one is a bonus with the table, chair and bonus accessories!

I got this for my 3 year old niece. She and her mother love it! You can lay on the mat and use the pen or stamps. The artwork fades away so you can use the mat again and again. Having water instead of ink is a wonderful idea - no mess!

My daughter who is 8 yrs old loved this she uses it all the time and keeps it in her desk at school.

My 5 year old daughter chose this as a gift for her birthday guests as opposed to goody bags-- I'm not sure who loved it more her or her guests-- big hit at her party!!
