We experienced the same problem others have with this microphone shutting the whole leap pad off. We couldn't really play it much b/c the slightest movement of the microphone would shut it down and we'd have to start over. The Leap Pad also didn't recognize it as a leap pad cartridge many times when it was plugged in. Seems like it would be a very fun addition to the Leap Pad if it worked though.

My daughter was given this product as a gift - she has had three LeapPads (Little Touch, My First and LeapPad Plus Writing) and we have loved them as all so this might be a fluke. This cartridge will not maintain a constant enough connection for her to play with. It keeps shutting the unit down and failing to recognize it as a LeapPad cartridge. While I gave only 2 stars, I really believe it may be a one-time problem since we have loved all the other LeapFrog products. I am in contact with LeapFrog to try to solve the problem. Is fun when it works!!

Together with "microphone-enabled" Leappad books (not all are--you have to look on the cover at the top), this was a great addition to my 4-year-old son's Leappad. It lets your kid record his voice in response to questions and prompts from the book.

If your kid enjoys playing with Leappad, you should definitely get this and some of the special books ("Hop on Pop" is one of them).

Another great product from Fisher Price and wonderful addition to the Little People collection. I just love the sounds on this one, there is a great horse noise and water and apple eating, as well as a song. The stable comes with alot of cute accessories as well. I put away most the little parts for now since we own many of the Little People items and the parts can be a bit overwhelming for me to pick up. But, I kept out the horses and when my son gets a bit older I will take out the other parts.

My 1 year old got the stable and the little train set for Christmas. When I played the little song for him by pushing down on the horse in the package - he immediately started to sway to the music and even now a month later loves to hear that tune. He likes making the horses "eat" the apples and "drink" the water on the side of the barn. Hint to those who are constantly losing pieces - don't bother to unharness the horse 'n buggy nor the hay on the wagon. Much easier to keep together that way - I just left the original metal twist ties on (they're coated, so my son can't get hurt).

Oops, dirty diaper time. Potty training is next on the list for this year - hope this review was helpful!

I bought this for my 3 year old niece, along with the Little People Baby Farm Animals, and she was ECSTATIC over them! They're sturdy enough to take punishment and they're interesting enough to hold her attention. I couldn't be more pleased.

shout about tv. this game is awesome. all of them are. only wish there were more games per dvd, because once you've played all 3 times, that's it you can't play again.

My husband and I are always looking for good games we can play (just the two of us) on the weekends. This is funny--results in lots of laughs (especially when played at cocktail hour).

I played this game with about 20 adults at a 40th birthday party. We all had a great time. We divided into two groups: men vs women. A great ice breaker for people who don't know each other very well. We all had something to talk about afterwards AND was very informed. I bought the rest of the Shout About games.

These binoculars do not work well at all. My son was extremely frustrated with the binoculars after only a few minutes and tossed them aside. Even after repeated adjustments of the viewing lens they are basically worthless - except for the viewfinder - it works fine.

My son is 4. We had to cut off the straps because he had twised them around his neck and we were worried it could be a choking hazard.

My baby loves this toy, however, afer a couple of weeks she can't play it anymore, because we don't have a triangular screwdriver to change the batteries on the octopus that makes music when the baby hits or touches it. This toy was fantastic, and my baby loves it so much up until it DIED!!! I think that fisher-price/mattel should include a tool to change the battery, otherwise, I would render this toy completely useless.

I registered for this one instead of one of the others becuase it was the cheapest. My daughter was able to play under it for only about 6 weeks when she started to roll and would get caught up in the sides. It's not very roomy and the three toys get old fast (I was even trying to hang linkadoos from it). It would be worth the extra $25 to get a larger mat with interchangable toys and you would get a lot more use out of it!

I was skeptical about this one.. as I have learned that the cheaper the toy is.. the less my baby likes it. Though he absolutely adores this floor mat. I got it for him when he was 2 months old. He is only 4 months old now but can't get enough of it. The little octopus does make sound when it spins.. but he can't reach it yet. Though its hilarious to watch him try! He gets so frustrated and beats up the other toys, but then smiles in the end when I go spin it for him.

I give this 5 stars because the floormat itself is. I would give it 4 stars but that is based on my baby and all babies are different. The only problems we have with it, which would make it 4 stars would be the fact that aside from the octopus there are no other sounds, and there are no lights. My baby loves sounds and lights. So if you have one of those, expect yours not to want to play as long on the mat in the beginning stages. Ours plays for about 20-30 minutes, then he wants to be moved to his swing so he can look in the mirror and hear the music. But you can get really good tummy time on this and it keeps them entertained and laying out straight (instead of scrunched up in a swing so often) so you can get a few things done around the house.

Oh and we have noticed that our baby will play on it longer, if we go over and play with him every once in awhile. Helping him reach the toys, making the octopus spin, etc. Then we get another 20 minutes to do whatever. So all in all... its a great product...

Just be warned that the little mirror on one of the fish.. isn't a mirror. Its one of those flashy material looking things and the baby can't see his reflection in it.. cause I cant even see mine in it.

If the toys are hanging to low for your baby, you can flip them over the top bar once and they will hang higher, or move the baby on the mat a bit.
