OK - but only if you get a good deal on itFound this pretty cheap at TJ Maxx. Thank goodness - it's OK - but gets old fast for the little ones. The music it plays isn't that stimulating and it's heavy and awkward for my son (18 mos) to carry around. Unless you get a really good deal on this ($15) DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Great for the carThis is a nice distraction for my 17 month old son on long car rides. He mostly likes to play the piano keys on the top.
fun for my 20 mo oldMy daughter has fun with this. She likes to carry it around, (It is somewhat heavy for her)talk on the tiny phone, wich is funny to watch her...I wish i would have bought it when she was an infant, I think she would have enjoyed it then too.

DO NOT BUY!!!!!This was a huge waste of $, even if it was only $[...]! Much smaller than shown (is it legal to "photo shop" something you are selling?), the air doesnt stay in, and as soon as i turned the sprinkler on (ever so slightly) it split the plastic tube! And customer service is always busy and does not respond to emails but Toys R US did take it back with no problem, even though the associate said none others were complained or returned, I find that hard to believe! What a was of time and $!
Waste of MoneyI purchased this for my daughter and once it was set up I put the hose onto the orange piece and the plastic split. My daughter was so upset that she was not able to slide. I then could not return the defective product to the store because it was opened and used. I then called the number in the package for their customer service department and they do not anwser it was a busy signal. Now she cannot use the product. Buyer Beware!
Good...but size decievingThe pool is good, but I thought it would be quite a bit bigger than it is. The slide does not stay in place as well as I would like, and neither does the arch with the basketball hoop. Good for 1-3 year olds, but if you have older kids I would try something else.

I HAVE 4 KIDS AND HAVE NEVER LEFT A REVIEW UNTIL NOW!!!!!!!Where to begin??? This toy after setup, didn't last 15 minutes before breaking. The ball return quit working literally after 15 minutes. (My 2 and 6 year old were very disappointed). The "Floor" of the bowling alley is a painted garbage bag--that is how thin the material is. The plastic tubes running along the sides only rest in a few plastic holders that are only in place with stickers/ velcro. Nevertheless, these tubes constantly fell apart and come undone. There are 3 power wires running all over the game. 1 for the scorer, 1 for the ball return, and 1 for the pins---the ones for the pins and ball return don't fit into their female receptacle properly (they will hang loose and stick out about a 1/4". The pins aren't pins. They aren't round, they are cut in half and hollowed out. The two bowling balls that come with this are smaller than softballs and are plastic. I don't know what else to say, I have a 1, 2, 6, and 8 year old and have had thousands of toys. This is the first one that I said the quality of this toy is complete garbage and I must take the time and get on the internet and figure out how to leave a review, because this toy wins the award for biggest piece of garbage ever!!!!!!
Arcade Alley BowlercadeAfter I read the reviews on this toy, I wanted to cancel my order. Thankfully I didn't because my kids love it. I have two boys 5 & 9 and they love bowling with this toy. My kids have played with it since we got it in Feburary. In the reviews, people said the toy broke soon after playing with it. My kids play with it all the time and we have not had any problems. Everything still works great; the pins, the sound, and the ball return.
Great family fun!My son loves bowling. I have no idea where he gets that from, since the only time he has actually been to a bowling alley was for his sixth birthday this year -- long after he developed this craze. His favorite computer games are "Gutterball" and "Polar Bowler". He makes his own little pins and plays tabletop games. I don't pretend to understand it.
So, when he asked for this toy for Christmas, he weren't surprised. We were hesitant to buy it, however, because we were afraid it would be a big disappointment. When he made his list for Santa, this was the only thing on it. This was all he talked about for weeks before the holiday. We had to get it.
I'm so glad we did! It's been a great purchase. It's easy to put together and use. The sound effects are a big hit with the kids -- even our 5-month old loves to watch us play. We use this toy as a reward; "get ready for bed quickly and we'll have time for bowling!"
A few complaints: the pins will pop off with the occassionally hard rolled ball. Luckily they snapped right back on. Also, the ball return is fickle, but this is probably the result of our uneven floors, though. Also, this toy takes up quite a bit of floor space. It is not feasible to pack it up and take it out when you want to play. You really need to leave it out if you expect it to be played with.
Also, although there is a one-person setting, after the initial newness wore off, my son didn't like to play with it alone. He prefers to play it with a friend or parent. This presents a small problem as the maximum number of players that can play at a time is two. However, as there are only six frames per game groups of kids can play "round robin" or "winner stays up" quite easily.
The bumpers, automatic pin setup and ball return make this much for fun than the old sets we grew up with!
We really enjoy this family game. I would recommend it for ages 4-9, with older siblings and parents having fun as well. Definitely a good purchase if you have the room.

OK concept, but too many pieces to loose. The concept of a zip up, fabric, almost puzzle-like alphabet book is great. But, there are so many pieces to loose. They will replace the pieces, but it is still a hassle. Definitely for age 3 and up.
Excellent!!I bought this for my son, and it keeps him entertained for 30-60 minutes. Nothing else keeps him occupied for more than 5 minutes. He is just 17 months so he doesn't have the concept yet of the letters, but he loves these little animals. He pulls each out of the pocket and looks at them and plays with each one. There are 26 pieces though, so not a good travel toy but the zipper goes all the way around and keeps the pieces safe. My daughter is 7 and I keep having to reminder her to give her brother back HIS toy. The book is well constructed.
Fabulous Learning !!!! I bought this for my daughter when she was 1 1/2 years old last christmas. She loves it, (and so do I). She still pulls it out to play with. Amazingly enough, we have never lost an animal for more than a few weeks. Since there is a space for each animal, it is a great storage too. You are able to see if you have everything when it is put away. Which leads to another great part about this toy, my daughter LOVES to put all the animals back in their "garages" (as my daughter calls it). Very soon after we bought this, she was memorizing her letters and telling me what each animal was. Since they all have matching letters on the animals and their "garages" it helps the younger ones find out where each goes. I can't say enough good things about this. I hate to buy toys that get put in the toy box and never get pulled out again. But this one has definately kept her attention. When you put that with the educational opportunity, how can you resist it? It is cute! Oh and you know how you get tired of playing the same toys with your children? This one is fun for the adults too. I forgot to mention one of the most important details. There is a form you get with the toy to order more animals if you lose any.
