I purchased this item for my son's [...] birthday. I did hours of research online trying to find the best kitchen for the price. After 2 hours of assembly my husband and I were stumped. Neither of us could figure out why none of the doors lined up properly. The microwave door was so uneven my son could not open or close it himself, it took a great deal of force to open and close. Also the dishwasher door wouldn't stay closed, it would open right back up when you closed it! The 2 doors over the fridge were very far from closing even to eachother, however despite my disappointment I went against my better jusgement and decided to keep the toy. With in the week the grill began making this god awful noise. It was louder than a vacuum cleaner and also made this high pitched whistling noise at the same time. Completely unhappy I gathered up all the accessories and drove it back to Toyr R Us. I must say the manager refunded my money in full and apologized for the ordeal. But I can't regain the 2 hours of assembly and inconvenience of trying to fit this mammoth item in my car to return it. I am extremely dissapointed in the quality of this product and hope this helps someone make a better choice than I.

After reading all 33 mixed reviews, my husband and I decided to give this kitchen a try. It only took 30 minutes to put it together and put all the stickers on, not 2 hours like others have claimed. The doors are fine...they don't fit perfectly, but as another parent said...that doesn't seem to faze the children. There is plenty of space to put assessories. There is plenty of surface area and things to do to keep two children busy without fighting or tripping over each other. I am very pleased overall and would recommend this product to another family who has two or more children. Good job Little Tikes!!!!!

My daughter loves this toy. She just got it for her 4th birthday which happend to be on Easter. I was a little worried about this after reading some bad reviews, but now that we have put it together, it is not as bad as some people made it sound. It took about an hour and half to put together, but that is expected since this is a big toy. It also went to together well as long as you followed the instructions. The thing that took the longest was putting the cover together that went over the window. One thing to keep in mind is that there is a reason they put age requirments on the package. I would say that the age on this one should be raised to 3, since it is hard to open the doors and to also close the doors. I will recommend this toy to anybody.

Bought this for my 4 mo. old son for Christmas (got it for a great price at Costco). He played with it a lot - loved it. His dad & I thought it was a wonderful toy, until it shorted out with no provocation after only about 1.5 months of use. We've tried to find a replacement, but seems it's not for sale anymore. We are very disappointed and plan to return for a refund at Costco.

My in-laws bought this toy as a XMas gift for our 9 month old daughter. While my daughter loves the music, we quickly became concerned with it from a safety perspective. After about 2 weeks of use, the toy shorted out. We could smell a funny smoke odor coming from the base near the battery compartment, and the toy would no longer play music (it just whined and sounded like an old cassette tape stuck in a player. While the drum and tambourine are still functional for her to play with, they are heavy for a child's toy, and can cause bumps and bruises unless you are VERY CAREFULLY watching your child.

My daughter got this for her 1st birthday, and now seven months later, it's still one of her favorite toys! She loves all the action, the play cymbal, the little drum pad, the tambourine...my only negative comments is that it's a little bulky for storage, takes up lots of room in the toy box. I have to say I like the nice mix of music, slightly different from the usually childrens toy music, not nearly as annoying!

The fine print on the tag says that this toy must be put in a pillowcase before going into the washing machine. My six-year-old didn't read the instructions, and now our washing machine is fried. It was fun while it lasted.

We have added "Doodle Monster D-Zine" to our son's collection of "Doodle Bear" stuffed toys made by Play Along. All these toys can be drawn on with the accompanying two markers, but unlike permanent markers, the ink can be washed off with soapy water. Our son is addicted to these toys. More accurately, our son has AGA (Anthropomorphic Graffiti Addiction) and needs these toys to keep him from drawing on me, his mother, or any other person who happens to be prone and unconsciousness.

We first bought our son the "Doodle Monster Sketch" model and I gave a glowing review for that product (Nov. 4, 2005). Play Along has produced several different models of the Doodle Bear Toys and also sells a "Doodle Bear Marker Accessory 5-Pack". My wife and I are thankful for the great variety of Doodle Bears, and as long as Play Along keeps producing them our son has an acceptable outlet for his AGA.

My oldest son HATES bugs. So when he got this for his birthday, I thought "We'll have to return that." To my surprise, this toy has helped him overcome his fear fo bugs and has even gotten his younger brother to forage outside for bugs with him! They are 8 and 5 and they are in love with this kit! I highly recommend it, even if you think your young one won't use it because of their fear of bugs. I say give it a try. It has totally turned my son onto insects and he loves findings all the different ones he can. Great toy!

this doll is so cool.i have dana,cade,cameron,dylan,yasmin and now this.pour water in the pool and have a bratz party.i put fianna #1 because of her make -up,hair & outfit.i have a sports car and it holds 2 bratz so i put yasmin & dylan to drive to the the sun kissed summer pool.it is so cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont know why people are saying this pool is bad. I bought it and it is absolutely wonderful. I myself did fill the pool with water and it did not start to peel or smell because i took alot of care when emptying it out and wipeing it completely dry. i also didnt put my bratz heads under the water so there hair wouldnt get wet i only put there bodies in and they were fine. also if you put your bratz in tie there hair up in a high bun and if you want to put there head under wrap some plasic around there hair so it dosnt get wet.the accesories may be small but if propally cared for wont get lost. also these should be considered for an older age group (i am turning 14) because young children wont really take notice of them. as for the price i actually find it fairly reasonable if you consider everything it comes with and the hours of fun youll have playing with this toy.

This pool is the the BEST thing you and your bratz doll could ever have... and if your if your thinking, "I dont have a bratz doll" well dont worry, because this pool not only comes with the pool, a smoothie bar, fashion runway,a balcony and tons of accecories... but it also comes with the gorgeouse bratz doll, Fianna. So if your looking for something that is packed with a whole lot of fun... then my friends and I HIGHLY recommend that you choose the bratz sun kissed summer splash and dance pool party play set!!! :)
