Many of the red connector and green track pieces in our set broke, making it difficult to build most of the tracks.

My 3 yr old son is very active, so finding an indoor toy that holds his attention is tough. This "roller coaster" requires Mom or Dad to sit on the floor and help him assemble it each time, but my son loves it! He likes to direct the action("Build the loop-de-loop" or "Make it go up-down-up-down." ). He can disassemble it easily. The concepts of physics are absorbable at an earlier age than many people think, and aside from losing the marbles, I don't see a reason to hold this toy back until the child is 5 or 6. My husband and I are both engineers, and it's a joy to see a challenging, safe toy available for kids -- especially one that isn't plastered with Disney characters or makes lots of noise.

My five year old and I built the first designs together and since then he's been off and running, on his own when I'm not able to join him. He doesn't always build designs that work but that is actually a good thing, as now he's talking about how the marble didn't have enough momentum to make it through a dip in the track to the next high point. When I initially saw all of the smaller pieces, I worried that it would be too fragile for a 5-year old but the pieces are bendable and so fairly forgiving of structures falling over. I suppose eventually they'll accumulate damage, but I anticipate we'll get a lot of use before that happens.

My husband and I have both had a lot of fun with this toy too--it is easy and fun building really cool roller coasters with loops, spirals, crossing paths and lots of twists and turns.

My only complaint: I wish the blue, circular bases that support the track were heavier or designed so that they could be weighted with sand. As taller supports are built, they have a tendency to tilt and become unstable. We've solved this by using our wooden blocks to weigh them down.

My 5.5 year old daughter received this from Santa 2005. After literally 2 minutes of play, she said "this is boring, it doesn't do anything". The price is high for $34.99. It comes with a pair of shoes & a comb. After changing the color on the eyelids & mouth a few times, that's it. The additional outfits are pricey at $9.99 each & hard to find. We returned this for Littlest Pet Shop. As others have said - the face does look weird.

My 2 1/2yr. old daughter wanted this doll so bad that she carried around a catalog that had this doll in it for about a week! I had already finished my Xmas shopping and thought this doll was a little too like the Bratz (which I don't allow her to have) that I was not going to spend $35 on it. Well I decided that I should check out a popular online auction site (starts with an E, ends in bay) and found it for $10 (shipping and all!). I am soo glad I got this doll as it is my daughter's favorite Xmas present! It is easy to use and fun to play with. I even had some fun with it! I recommend this for 2 and up (since my 1 1/2yr. old doesn't get it) and any child who loves to play with make up but makes a mess up it. Fun, fun, fun!!

My daughter (7)saw the commercial for this and wanted it right away. She doesn't think it looks like Angelica, but she loves that it's makeup and that she can make the light colors on the doll magically change to whatever she wants them to be! To her, it's truly magical. If you like Angelica then the singing won't bother you too much. I give it a 5 because the light part is really cool. I even like to play with it!

i bought this caleidoscope about a month ago, im very pleased to say its a good product, the only problem is that is a little unconfortable to use because of the way it has to be assembled, but its fun after you've done it.

For once I have bought a product for the kids which should last a lifetime. This Kaleidscope is beautiful and solid and is worth the price. It has even been to school and back for share days and hasn't broken. Everyone loves it.
