      A very confusing listing...
I wasn't sure if I should order this item or not, because the listing didn't match the picture at all, and I am not sure what items I would be receiving?
The current picture shows 4 ponies from an older Butterfly Island series, and the listing description is for the 4 newest (as of 6/2006) ponies in the newer Crystal Princess series.
The listed ponies are actually two pegasus ponies - both with the painted/glittery wingtips, a pony with designs all the way down all four legs, and a very different clear pony with confetti glued on the inside. All very cool and different, and worth owning.
The Crystal Princess series got much more interesting looking, and are a huge improvement over the ponies from the latter series which were starting to get very stale and repeatative.
The painted wingtips and glitter on the pegasus ponies, in particular, is really a nice touch.

However, production of the new ponies seems to have gotten cheaper, which is a big disappointment.
I have seen many instances of chipped or sloppy paint jobs, black markings, or dried glue stains. Had to exchange quite a few ponies from the Crystal Princess sets for these reasons.
Collector or child, no one is really happy when a pony isn't pretty right out of the box, even if it is going to suffer a little after play ;) The pretty paint/glitter on a lot of these ponies doesn't hold up very well during play, either, so expect a lot of scrapes and smudges.
Also, it looks like the changed the type of nylon hair they were using. The hair on the Crystal Princess ponies for the most part tends to look very bad compared to the older sets. Almost always looks wet or greasy, and is also often stiff and unmanagable. Hair tends to seperate and looks thin and greasy.
      Also a very big disappointment.

        Pasta Bowls for the wife
When my wife mentioned new pasta bowls as an anniversay gift, my first thought was to head directly to Pier One. My second thought was, maybe I can decorate one myself. Thank goodness I stumbled upon this product. I painted one to look like an American flag and the other like a pepperoni pizza. It was so simple. Kids should have a great time with this. I know I did, and I'm the father of two. Have Fun!

        fun but wont last
Ok so my daughter was 2 3/4 and not 3 (toy rated for age 3), but she loves Elmo and loves playing with this toy. It is somewhat loud an there is no volume control. Also after 4 months of use the pen stopped working, rendering the toy worthless. Also the binding is weak and my daughter has torn the sheets with normal use. So fun toy while it lasts.

        Lots of Fun!
My 2 year old got this for his birthday & loves crawling through it really fast...and making me try to get in too! Keeps him occupied for hours. He's getting the Firehouse tent for Christmas that goes with it, so hopefully that's just as fun!

        Worst Toy Ever
My son received this as a gift and played with it once. Play-doh gets stuck in the cracks, making it difficult to clean. The markers and crayons do not fit in the alotted slots. There are so many other things that are wrong with it. I should have returned it when I had the chance.

        GREAT TOY
I BOUGHT THIS TOY FOR MY 3 YEAR OLD AND 6 YEAR OLD IT ENTERTAINS THEM FOR HOURS.DESPITE WHAT OTHER REVIEWERS SAID ,I THINK IT IS EASY TO CLEAN .JUST WAIT FOR THE PLAYDOH TO DRY AND VACUUM IT UP WITH THE HOSE OF THE VACUUM.I FIND NO PROBLEMS PLAYDOH IN GENERAL IS MESSY NOT THE TABLE.

        This is a great table!
My 2 and 4 year old children love this table!! It was easy to put together and is larger than I thought it would be. I was impressed at how sturdy it is. Both of them can cozily fit across from each other at the table. I really don't understand all of the complaints regarding cleaning the crevices (or all of the negative reviews to begin with actually). It is a play doh table, why does it have to be spotless? I let it dry for a little bit, dump off the dried pieces outside and then wipe down the main playing area and it is fine. There is a small cubby under the table where you can fit paper or some of the cutters. I think that the marker container is fine and we have not had one marker or crayon fall out. As far as the playdoh cans not fitting in the holes on the side - I agree that the cans do not fit well in the top hole, but we have not had a problem with any of the other holes. I just stopped putting a play doh can in the top hole and the problem was solved. I love having the fun factory and the hair grower attached to the table. I think this is a great toy and will provide alot of fun for a long time.

            Fun!
My 3 and 4 year old girls love this toy. They get to paint and color on a huge coloring pad. The pad is so big that it's hard to get paint anywhere else. They really enjoyed this product
