My one and three year olds beg to play Pilly Winks at bedtime. Before they know it, they are tucked in and I am on my way back downstairs for some quiet time! It was just as big a hit when my six year old nephew came to visit. Makes bedtime a pleasure!

And what fun bedtime is now! My guys (2 and 4 year olds) love acting out the activities. The Pilly Winks are delighful friends to spin, march, hop, quack and snuggle with. I sent the Pilly Winks pillows and book along with my kids to my sister's (their aunt) for a sleepover and it made bedtime easier for her, too. I especially liked that the whole activity doesn't take a long time...but is a special time. Very cute.

We love this product! Our 4 year old was; to say the least, a difficult child to get to bed. She knew all the excuses and every night turned into a hassle just to get her to sleep. Then we were given Pillywinks as a gift.
Bedtime now consists of reading one book (instead of 10) and fun activities that seem to use up that excess bedtime energy children seem to have. She sleeps with all the pillows and now the only problem we are having is getting her to let her little brother sleep with one. Maybe a Pillywink version regarding sharing would be good?

I bought this for christmas last year for my 3 year old. She loves it. All she has to do is use the mini pen that comes with it, fill with water and "color". The colors magically appear. There is no crayon marks or marker marks to worry about when they go off the page. Keeps my daughter busy for awhile.

I have bought two of these toys for my son, an only child and pretty gentle on toys. It has been kept in his bedroom away from his playgroup. He has not even played with it regularly. Yet BOTH times these toys BROKE WITHIN MONTHS OF PURCHASE!!!

Yes, it is fascinating. And like other reviewers, I've also had some fun with it myself. But I am disgusted that it broke down so easily--twice. There must be a reason that Amazon doesn't offer new ones for sale; please think hard about buying a new one elsewhere. Unless you don't mind looking at the $30 you'll pay as a month or two of entertainment, look to other gear toys that don't depend upon this lousy motor.

For the price of this toy I expected the kind of service you get with other good quality toys. Not this one. I have tried to get help from Tomy and their website doesn't even acknowledge this toy as part of their line of toys. I tried e-mailing the company about a loud dying motor. No response after 3 tries.

Bought this toy several years ago for my son.

He is interested in anything that moves. This toy allows him to move the gears around and change the direction of the gears.

The parts are large and durable, and yes I have played with the toy when he is asleep.
