The pieces have such weak magnets that they move around easily on the board and/or fall over. I was expecting the magnets in the pieces would have been strong enough to hold the pieces in place--but they do not. Some of the pieces are also cracked, which in and of itself would not be a problem, but the weak magnets make the set useless as a magnetic travel chess set.

Nice, simple chess set. Magnetic pieces hold well on playing surface.

I'd like to reinforce the reviewer before me. We also got this as a present & we were really excited. The questions were inanane, there were lots of spelling errors, & the ones that weren't outright silly were so subjective it's impossible to guess which answer they were looking for. We won't be playing it again. It's too bad, it was a great idea.

We received this as a Christmas gift and tried playing tonight. Our whole family from our 11 year old up were in stitches reading the questions from this game. Some examples: Where do most fish live? (In water.) What are the main features in Lava Beds National Monument? (Lava beds.) What part of a boat is the stern? (The back.) What mountain range is found in Rocky Mountain National Park? (The Rockies.) In addition to such challenging questions, the cards suffer from poor editing, with frequent missing words, etc. It was good for a night of laughs as we played and read the questions. (My son who is almost an Eagle Scout got the question "What does BSA stand for?), but anyone expecting a real trivia game will be out good money.

We got this game this Christmas and found it to be somewhat challenging, yet fun. Many questions were designed with the answers (embedded) in the questions...and some were pretty simple...but they made it easier for the younger players. A few grammatical errors, but otherwise well done. For a game, it seemed like a great gift!
