My son loved this toy from the first time he played with it--at about four months old. We used the different settings depending on how interactive he was with it. It was his favorite toy for a few months--which is a big deal. I loved teaching him "If You're Happy And You Know It" with this toy.

I got this as a gift & my daughter loves the the different fabrics, the way it lights up & plays a different tune when touched. I love it because I just wipe it with a lysol wipe to clean it, the volume itsn't to loud or too soft & the music doesn't drive me nuts. This would be a GREAT gift!

I haven't been able to get my 6 month old daughter interested in toys, with the very large exception of the chime garden. She loves it and will play with it every day for up to 15 minutes. She's really getting the hang of making the music play, and the tune is good enough that even with that much repetition I still don't hate it. Also, she drops it all the time and it's still working perfectly. This was a Christmas present from her uncle and I'm seriously considering asking him to buy her some more toys, because it's the only one she likes.

My son received this toy as a gift when he was about 8 months old. Although at first he had little interest in it, he gradually found ways to play with it, and two months later it gets a fair amount of use.

I like that there is room to hide other toys (rattles, teethers) in the bowl with the fish. I also like that my son can't hurt himself with this very soft toy. He really does enjoy playing with the sea-critters individually.

On the negative side, the bowl itself doesn't seem to interest him at all, aside from its ability to hold things. Also there is a noticeable plasticky smell, especially when the toy is in the sun or any warm spot.

Overall though I think this is a pretty good toy that can provide a lot of fun for a 6+ month old baby.

I was just shopping for a shower gift and had to pick this up! We received an older version of this toy for our daughter when she was an infant. It was great for sensory stimulation--each fish has a different sound or texture to explore, and the whole set is very colorful and visually interesting. But I figured that this toy would go into the attic before very long...not so! My husband and daughter started playing "basketball" with it, tossing the sea creatures into the bowl from a distance. They still play with it this way occasionally, and my little girl is now four years old. Also, when she entered the imaginative play stage, she would assign a personality/identity to each creature (i.e. mommy, daddy & baby; superheros; or simply talking sea creatures), and play make-believe games with them. All of this was very cute and fun. Needless to say, I recommend this toy. You'll be surprised at how much play your child will get out of it.

My little guy loved this toy when he went through the "put things in, take things out" stage. The fishbowl is made of fabric and plastic. The plastic sides have water in them that swishes and splashes. It is also clear, so the baby can see what is going in or coming out. Each of the little toys (fish, clam, crab, and starfish) are made of fabrics with many colors and textures. They each make a different noise, as well (rattle, jingle, crinkle, and squeak). I have found that each piece is very well made and held up to daily play, being packed in the diaper bag, and even getting picked up by our dog a few times (she loves the squeaker). I would highly recommend this toy for babies who enjoy quiet exploration activities.

My daughter loved this mobile. The little critters are adorable & she loved the colors! Only one drawback - it was somewhat difficult to mount on the style crib I had. Probably works great for a standard crib. I have a convertible crib with wide, thick slats. I did get it to mount, but had to tighten it every once in while to make sure it stayed in place. Overall it's a great mobile. Kept her entertained!

we originally had a wind up mobile and quickly realized we needed to upgrade! i found this mobile and my son LOVES it!!! it plays for 15 minutes and when it stops it's just the push of a button to start it up again. the music is great and the motion is not too slow and not too fast, perfect for little eyes to follow! i love the entire design, the angle it is on and the beads that are constantly shifting give the baby something more to look at and figure out! perfect mobile, and definately worth the cost!!!

I bought this mobile for my son's crib who is now almost 5 months old. He loves it!!! It is so colorful and bright and keeps him occupied for a long time. He has spent up to an hour in his crib just looking at this mobile. I think this was one of the best items I have bought or have received so far since he has been born. The best thing about the mobile is that the music is great and I absolutely love that the music plays for 15 minutes. You don't have to keep going in the room to wind it up because it just goes on it's own. I highly recommend this item. If you are looking for a mobile, YOU MUST GET THIS ONE!!!

I bought this for my three month old and he seems to like it. It has lots of different textures and of course lots of different bright colors so that really attracted him to it.

My baby (4 months)loves that toy. It hangs on his play mat.He loves to look at it and grab it.It is great that it rattles. He likes to grab the rings. Babies can explore different textures and shapes with that.

I kept this toy in the car and would hook it onto my now 13 month old son's high chair or stroller when we would go out. He loved chewing on the toys and pulling them through the knot center. Lots to do and kept him entertained while waiting to eat. Now he does not play with it, but the 8 month old I watch loves it.

this set is lots of fun! the only thing i don't like about it is that the back of the middle shelves falls out constantly! otherwise it is a wonderful set that i have had hours of fun with.

but my mom just ordered this item online but i have played with my cousin my main question is does it come with dolls ?
but i will not keep any one for ever reading a 10,000 word thing based on this all i want to tell parents is this is a great fantastic toy for your kids to play with and get educated by

this is a must have 4 ur happy family collection! its so adorable! all the little foods and stuff r alot of fun! the cash register, accesories and stand and play money are sooooooooo cute and so much fun. but whats really annoying is that the batches of apples are clumped together. there r 2 batches of apples. also the cherries and the corn r clumped together, there r also 2 batches of that. i wish it was seperate and u can buy them seperatly that would be much more fun. im upset about that. im also upset becuase it looks like mattel is stopping the great happy family line and making it into barbie happy family. and thats really upseting becuase the things that arent in stock looks like there not countinuing that. maybe mattel could start the happy family line again, i hope so. that would be really exciting. im a big happy family fan! any way back to the supermarket, i think you should buy it before its not in stock anymore. thank you so much 4 reading this rieview.
