Can't Get EnoughMy daughter loves this swing. We bought it ot put on the variety climber with swing set extension. She'd love to swing all afternoon if she could. I do have to agree with the other reviewers, the swing does tend to swing at a diagnol, but it happens when the child in the seat isn't centered in the seat if they are leaning to one side or the other. You can only do small adjustments on the swing because it only comes with rope. No extra chain etc. really will fix the diagnol swing, but you can barely tell it swings that way. It has not taken away from the fun value and Grace doesn't seem to care one bit. It is safe with a buckle and easy to get in and out of once you do it a couple of times. I would buy this swing again, diagnol swinging and all.
Great BuyI bought this swing for my son when he was 14 months. Its the best outdoor toy I've bought yet. He loves it. We swing every morning and evening in it. No problems at all with its functionality. Some reviewers say it swings side ways. Well, that can easily be adjusted. Ours did also when we first attached it to our swing set and with minor adjustments its perfectly straight. Even though my son is very tall for his age I think we can still get another 9 months or more out of it.
great swingMy son loves it, and I have not had any problem to get him out of the swing.

OK toyI bought this toy for my toddler. She gets tired of it very quickly. If I could buy one again, I'd buy one where she could steer with her feet down, instead of her having to keep them up.
Our Favorite ToyThis toy has replaced our stroller. My daughter absolutely loves to ride in this car. We take her on walks in this car as well as to the mall. She will sit and ride in this car for hours while she will only sit in the stroller for fifteen minutes.
Excellent for the summer !!! I purchased this buggy over the Memorial Day weekend and it was very practical. My daughter only eight months old loved it once she saw it and when we put her on she didn't want to get off. We had a few BBQs to go to and the buggy saved us and allowed my daughter to enjoy the outdoors. Plus, it has a storage compartment in the front; I was able to fit two bottles, diapers and a travel wipe case.

FlimsyMy kids (ages 3 and 1) loved playing with this toy. They would get easily frustrated through as it is hard to push around (wheels do not turn very easily). It is also pretty flimsy. It would probably be an okay toy for an older kid if they still like playing with that sort of thing. However, for my two little ones, they tried to sit in the stroller themselves and bent the plastic legs on the stroller. I am now looking for a sturdier toy stroller for them. [...].
Just OkayAlthough this toy is used ALOT by my 20 month old, I would not highly recommend it for a few reasons. Probably the biggest downside is that the baby doll (we have the little mommy doll that came with it) won't stay in the stroller unless she is strapped in. My daughter has yet to master the motor skills necessary to hold the doll in while closing the strap. The seat could have been made bigger, or tilted back a little so that the doll can stay in without the strap.
My second complaint is that the toy is pretty flimsy. Some places on it come apart easily and have to be snapped back together often. It is made of plastic so lightweight that it is broken easily. One of the braces on the bottom of it snapped in half after a little rougher doll strolling by her three year old brother. It was easily repaired with tape, and he has since learned to push baby dolls more gently.
Which brings me to my last point: I think she will outgrow it pretty quickly. It is small and just the right size for her now, but I wouldn't recommend buying it for a three year old, too small and flimsy for older kids.
I have to say that despite what I don't like about it (and my daughter'sfrustration with the strap), she plays with it every day, strolling around her doll and smaller stuffed animals.

My Daughter Loves It!My daughter got her 1st little mommy doll for her 1st birthday. She couldn't walk yet and I hated walkers. But I went and bought this stroller and it helped her to learn to walk in less than a week. She loves it! However....the wheels don't roll to well on the hardwood and one continues to fall off. But for the price and it is adorable. The whole reason I bought it though was because my husband and I called her "little mommy" from the time she was an infant and I saw the doll that said little mommy and then found the stroller too. Had to have it! Past that not too thrilled.

postageRealizing this was the wrong item I made an effort to change the order within 30-45 minutes of placing it. It was sent in spite of my efforts to exclude it and now needs to be returned at my expense. I just feel a little effort could have saved a lot of precious resources at both ends.
We love Gordon! My son is a huge fan of Thomas the Tank Engine and had been talking about Gordon for weeks when he received it. We are delighted with our purchase.
Gordon the Big Express EngineMy son involves Gordon the most in his imaginary Sodor adventures around my living room because he's the fastest engine. Gordon is a must-have for any child's collection.

Baby's first friendWe brought this toy with us to Vietnam for our newly-adopted 6.5 month old baby. This was his first buddy in the hotel room we stayed in and he loved it dearly. The crinkly noise comforted him, the monkey sound intrigued him, he loved the smile on the monkey's face. The other great thing was the ring which allowed us to attach it to crib or stroller. A lovely gift.
Great ToyI actually bought this toy for my 3 month old neice, she loves it. It was the first toy she ever smiled at. Totally worth the money. The toy has lots of different textures, and crinkley paper. The thing I think most children love is the sound the monkey makes when its turned upside down. It is actually a good impersonation of a monkey. All in all an excellent toy and definetly worth the money.
Max the MonkeyMy 9 month old loves Max!! He play with it all the time when in the car-he keeps him entertained!!

my son loves itmy son got this as a gift at about 6 month old and it took him a while to figure it out and now that he has figured it out he loves it, lol he is so proud of himself when he puts the balls in the bugs mouth. Also he sticks anything in the balls mouth lol his stacking rings anything that will fit goes into that bug, and it still hasnt broken and its six months later. I say def worth the buy!
My Nephew LOVES this Toy my Nephew got this toy when he was (6 1/2 months old) as a PRE-christmas Gift and he loves it along with his other toys at first he had to fingure it out....but once it made the sound "teehee..." he Laughed! and played with it for hours at a time along with his baby blocks!! i love this toy because it easy to play with and clean when he gets shaken and pukes!! but over all its a great toy!!
Educational toyMy daughter is 11 months old and loves this toy. She does not play with it for long periods of time but I don't expect her to. She is just under one years old and doesn't have a great attention span yet, but she quickly learned how to put the balls in the mouth to hear the music and watch it roll. This toy is great for motor skills development and problem solving at this age. It is also a good idea for crawlers or walkers as they have to chase the balls down and bring it back to the toy.
The only problem with this toy, it doesn't stay standing very well on carpet.

Thomas, Oh how my child loves this toty.My son loves thomas, he pulls him along everywhere we go, his only complaint is that he doesnt have a tunnel that he can put thomas in..
Thomas is so much better for my son than his other battery operated toys, Nothing like a tried and true method of entertainment for young children like my son.
my son loves all his toys, but thomas is the one he keeps going back to for undisputed pleasure day in and day out, the smile on thomas' face really brings a smile to my childs.

Finally! A Toy All of My Children Play WIth!!!This is the toy that can keep my children engaged for more than 30 minutes. Thomas and his friends wooden collection is by far the best of all the Thomas toys. It is durable and very effective. The Take Along toys are nice, too, but the magnets will not allow you to connect more than 2-3 cars at time. The magnet is just too weak. The track and accessories for the Take Along are kind of cheap. The battery operated plastic ones are nice, but the track that comes with them are simply horrible, especially the automobile track.
The wooden ones gives you durabilty, playability and connectivity. The track is very durable, and connects very well (even thought the Thomas brand is very expensive), and the connectivity with the magnets is far superior than the Take Along line (my son has connected 10+ trains without a single one coming off.
The collectibility of these things have really gone up in popularity, as well. The discontinued items are sold at auction for $40-$50 at times, and that is for one single train.
The only gripe I have is the cost. One wooden train is usually $10. YOu can get them free with a DVD for about that much (maybe a couple of dollars more ($12-$15). Larger trains, such as Gordan, Henry, et al, are even more. The Thomas track is very expensive, and generally hard to spend that much money for. You can get the Imaginarium brand (which makes the Thomas stuff), is considerably, but does not have the Thomas name. There are other knockoff brands (Ikea has one), but those are not usually compatible with the Thomas stuff.
My children like Thomas due to the personalities of all of the engines, and how they are brought to life in the dvds. The wooden Thomas just adds hands on fun for the kids, and if you don't mind spending a little extra, you will get a great product.

Very DisappointedWe received this as a gift for our daughter. She is now 9 months old and within 2 weeks of playing with it (again, she is 9 months old) elmo's head broke. The table no longer operates as all electrical is centered in Elmo's head.
A toy that we were very excited about turned out to be a dud.

very cutemy child loved this toy. my only problem with it, was that it tipped over easy. so i just set the back up against the wall or something and kept an eye on my child.
Son loves even after batteries dieThis is one of my son's favorite toys. He has no idea who Elmo is but he still loves it. He started playing with it before he could walk...he loved to crawl over to it and stand up and dance as he pushed the buttons. Now he is two and the batteries have been dead for months--but he still likes it. He uses the pretend phone and hides things in the little cookie spot.
This toy has been on its head more than once and I was pleasantly surprised that Elmo's head didn't break.

Winnie the Pooh Soft 'n Silly: Pooh

Ella loves her PoohThis is the best toy ever. My daughter loves him and cannot sleep with out him.
We couldn't live without him.My 2 year old got this Pooh for Christmas when she was 5 months old and they have been inseperable sense... he was her first friend and she loves him dearly. She lost Pooh Bear in town last night and I think I cried more than she did at the idea of him being gone... I told her he had gone on vacation, determined to locate another one... so today Im telling her we will be picking him up and hopefully, the new one will be sufficient.
This Pooh is one of a thousand toys she has and for whatever reason, she immediately bonded with him. He is a huggable size and she likes to feel of his ears when she go's to sleep. She feeds him, dresses him in infant clothes, and takes him on all her adventures. I would highly recommend this toy or another one of the same design to anyone with a baby... they will take it with them into their toddler years and if they can keep up with it, probably even beyond that. He is also washable... it says "surface washable" but her's has been through the washer and dryer atleast 10 times.

machine washable and cuddly makes best stuffed toy everMy son was given this pooh bear when he was 2 to help ween him. He has loved him ever since. He is now 5 and still sleeps with him every night and often takes him to school and out running errands. My absolutely favorite feature is that he's machine washable. I belive the tag used to say, "Surface washable" But i've put him through the washer and dryer at least 20x and never had a stich come loose. My youngest is currently working on weening and I've got the tigger on order for him.

Take Along Arch - Tropical

Average review score:

My son loves this archI originally bought this arch because whenever I had to put my son down I would put him in the baby papsan, which is very convenient, but very boring. The moment I snapped it on, his eyes lit up, and he grabbed the toys and shoved them into his mouth, which I took as a good sign! Now that he's almost 6 months old, he seems to be losing interest in it, so I would say it's better for babies 2 to 5 months old.
The arch seemed to do a good job of entertaining him - on the one hand, he is able to pull the toys towards him, and on the other, he loves the crinkly sounds they make.
I personally liked that we've been able to use it on his carseat and swing as well. It's gotten a lot of use and is a good deal for the money.
The other reviewers are right - the clips don't always attach well or stay on. Because my son liked the arch so much, I didn't want to take it away, so I just made sure to supervise him when he played with it. Overall, it really helped in keeping him entertained when he would have otherwise been fussy and upset at being strapped to a chair.

Best toy so farYou have to squeeze the clips pretty hard, but the toy arch attaches to my Evenflo pack and play and Graco stroller. The toys it comes with are able to be lowered or raised with velcro which is nice for younger babies. My 4 month old is entertained for a long time with this toy. I found at least 20 toys in her toy box that can be attached with Linkadoos including the Tiny Love chimes, Tiny Love mobile and Fisher Price toys. She's unable to hold onto an item for long. The arch keeps the items close and attached so she doesn't forget they are there. This is hands down the most entertaining toy I have yet to purchase.
