My baby is 9 months old and has been playing with this since he was 5 months old. He especially loves the crinkly dollar bill. This is a good little toy for the money and will entertain for many months.

It is a bit difficult to held in her little hand. But she loves it and burst into laugh from time to time.

We bought this set for our son when he was six months and it's been a favorite ever since! We have most of the sets and we always have a few of the balls with us no matter where they go. He's nine months now and loves to shake, touch or roll the ball and see what it does. He stares at it trying to figure out how it does it. These have been a great addition to our toys and I can't wait to get him a few of the toys that use the roll arounds! They are also VERY durable. They get thrown or dropped frequently and haven't cracked or show any signs of rough play.

We have had peek-a-blocks for a while but we just got a lot of roll-a-rounds for my sons birthday. They were an instant hit. These things are great, each one is unique. I plan to keep all the roll-a-rounds, and peek-a-block in our storage room for years to come so when people visit with little ones they will have some great toys to play with!

This is yet another wonderful yard sale find! My son has had this toy for 5 months now and plays with it several times a day. It is light enough that he is able to drag it around the house, sit on it and push it easily, and lately I have had to discourage him from standing on the seat like a circus performer on horseback.

It is very durable, my grandparents found it at a yard sale, and the only blemish on it is a small scratch on the wood. The little hub covers worry me as a choking hazard, but they seem to be attached really firmly so I rest a little more easily.

Wonderful purchase, especially for the $3.00 paid for it second hand!

I purchased this toy for my granddaughter's first birthday. All the children took a turn riding it at one time or another, and it was one of the most popular gifts at the party. It is easy to assemble, and well made.

Got this for my 1 year old but she has to fight to get ahold of it from her 3 yr old and 5 year old sisters! Very sturdy, doesn't tip over and rolls great over carpet. The older kids are big and the toy is obviously well designed to hold a 55lb kid with no problem. When my 1 yr old does get a chance, she is copying the older kids and trying get a leg over (with some help) and is able to easly scoot it along using her toes. Bought based on the other reviews and this one pans out. Nice to find a toy that lasts longer (both interest and durablity) than just a few months.

I love LeapFrog products. The LeapStart table and Drum were hits in our home, as are the Fridge Phonics. However, this one just doesn't have that much to it! The lights action is very basic (think leds - very 70's) and leaves much to be desired. In addition to that, the letters aren't very clear - V, B, G, Z... all sound like they are making the same noise.

My son hasn't shown much interest in the item, either. He will play with it for a minute or two and then that's it.

I would have given it less than 3 stars if it were not durable. That is IS. But fun? Don't think so!

We bought this toy for our sons 1st birthday. He loved it. He would sit for 20-30 minutes just playing with it. At the same time we were working with our 2 daughters on learning the alphabet and the sounds of each letter. Well one day while ds was playing with the toy both our daughters sat down on either side of him and started saying the alphabet and learning the sounds. I never expected this toy to entertain a 1 yr old, 3 yr old, and 5 yr old all at the same time. It has truly been a blessing and made teaching the alphabet so much easier and fun.

We love this toy!! It's fun and educational. My 18 month old loves the driving fun, music and cool noises and I love the letters and numbers and how the toy says what each letter sounds like.

Yes, this doll "floats" in the tub, but if your child wants to take this doll to bed after bathtime FORGET IT !!!!! The doll is soaking wet. I purchased two of these dolls for my girls and they were both soooooo disappointed. They bathed their baby dolls and dressed them for bed......... then their bed sheets were soaking wet.
Don't waste you money or your time on this rip-off.

i am a Baby Born defender and I want to say to M hutchison (the neurotic mom who babies her kids too much) that Zapf has NEVER, EVER marketed baby born as a potty training doll. they have marketed her as a friend, a sibling-prep doll, a baby doll, but never for potty training. so don't be dissapointed if your baby born doesnt teach potty training. and dont slag her just because youre too lazy to read and folow the instructions and actually TRY to make her work. who wants crappy ugly fat baby tubbles anyway? she sucks.

Susan- I must say i COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU! How dare they make a doll that goes in the water and actually gets wet...soaked in fact if used correctly!!!???? Oh the audacity of those people! Even worse, I put my one year old in the tub with the doll, took her out, and SHE WAS SOAKING WET TOO!! Ugh I had to dry my baby girl off overnight with the stupid doll so she lost a whole nights worth of sleep.

I bought this house for my daughter who is 4 for X-Mas, that is all she talked about, I did some research and thought wow this looks sturdy and all the furniture to buy, yeah right!!!! As people said befoer their is NO furniture for this house, their is ebay but give me a break 40 for one room! We were at Toy's R Us last night and of course no furniture asked and was told that it is only available online, so we go look and it is twin time! Called Fisher Price and the lady told me that I need to keep looking at all the stores and I might be able to find it one room at a time, yeah if they still made it and someone stocked it! I can't believe Toy's R Us is still selling this house and people buy it thinking they can buy the furniture, ours is going back tonight to Toy's and we are getting the Twin Time house, thats pretty much all they have and they have furniture for this one! My daughter was in tears and told me to tell Fisher Price that they are mean, lol, she did love this house but why buy Twin Time furniture when this house doesn't have twins?? I am soooo mad at FP!

We purchased this dollhouse for our three year old daugther last July when she turned three. Fortunately, at the time, I went a bit crazy with ordering the furniture and bought almost all of the furniture sets that were made to activate the Sweet Sounds dollhouse. I just recently discovered, however, that you cannot buy the Loving Family furniture that was made for the dollhouse in the department/toy stores. Instead, you have to buy it for three to five times the original price from an individual on eBay (i.e., $54 and up for one set which originally cost $12).

If you do decide to buy this dollhouse, the furniture that you actually need to activate some of the 200 phrases must contain an item called a "BONUS FEATURE". The BONUS FEATURE are furniture sets that come with a certain furniture item (i.e., wrapped gifts and balloons, parrot, blue television, tea set, blue teddy bear) that has a PINK or BLUE ribbon attached. Those items will activate the dollhouse sounds. Yes, you can still buy doll furniture from Fisher Price for the Twin Times Fisher Price Dollhouse that are on the same size scale as the Sweet Sounds dollhouse, but that furniture will not activate the dollhouse's supposed 200 phrases.

Personally, I think it is an atrocity that Fisher Price continues to sell this dollhouse with the marketing claim that it has over 200 phrases. A majority of those so-called phrases are activated by the extra dollhouse furniture that you USED to be able to purchase. Hence, the claim that Fisher Price (aka Mattel) makes that the dollhouse has over 200 phrases is misleading and false advertising because the dollhouse only comes with a few pieces to activate the dollhouse sounds (i.e., adult female, adult male, child female, cat, and tape recorder). That's it!

Someone else put together a list of all the sets you used to be able to purchase so you can see what I'm talking about here (although the representative picture of the displayed furniture on the left is not always the same item as the boxed picture on the right -- the boxed picture on the right shows the correct furniture to activate the dollhouse). Obviously, Fisher Price and/or Mattel believe that as parents we are stupid and that we don't pay attention to details. They have incorrectly assumed that we will not recognize that although they sell the Sweet Sounds dollhouse (probably because they have a lot left to deplete in their inventory), they don't sell the corresponding furniture to activate the house. Why then spend the extra $20 pay for the electronic dollhouse sounds when you can purchase the Fisher Price Twin Times dollhouse for much less?

Although I already own almost all of the Sweet Sounds dollhouse furniture sets, I have now developed a great disdain for the unscrupulous business dealings of the manufacturer who no longer supply the corresponding furniture for this Sweet Sounds dollhouse.

Lastly, today I contacted a supervisor within Mattel's customer service (1-800-432-5437). Although she was very nice, I could hardly believe that their computer datebase does not reflect that the corresponding activating furniture has been discontinued. She was totally unaware that people across the globe cannot purchase it anywhere but on eBay at a ridiculous prices. I did not realize when I spoke to her that there was this message board with so many complaints in this regard, however, I pointed out to her that I have been unable to find the furniture sets (with the "BONUS FEATURE") in any in the stores and that everyone on eBay is bidding them up three to five times the original price (I think that was fairly convincing to her). Dare I say that the omittance of the word "DISCONTINUED" in Mattel's database was completely purposeful because they don't want their customer service representatives telling the consumers that you we can no longer get the activating furniture because they want you to buy up the inventory of remaining dollhouses! I'm sorry, Fisher Price, but not all parents are quite as dumb as you think they are.

For a mother with two toddler girls ages 2 and 3, I am going to boycott Fisher-Price altogether because I think this is unscrupulously deceptive marketing on their part. I cannot return all of the unopened furniture sets and the Sweet Sounds dollhouse, but I certainly will continue to raise an awareness via the Internet.

Final word: If you don't care whether or not the dollhouse makes sounds and talks, then go ahead and spend the extra money, although the feature is otherwise useless. In truth, you're wasting your money because you can buy another dollhouse that doesn't have electronic sounds for considerably less money.

I purchased this dollhouse for the pure victorian look, and found the sweet sounds an addition. I would not buy this for the sounds though, because everything is discontinued unless you find some obscure accessory on ebay, just look for the piece with a "heart" on it and usually a ribbon.... I have stocked this house to the hilt with the "twins" dollhouse rooms, some of the deluxe decor already have sounds attached to the items, that aren't meant to interact with the sweet sounds dollhouse, just on their own. Oh yeah, one more thing....it has so many decals to apply to the dollhouse just prepare for at least an hour of perfection putting these on! Have fun!

We got this for my twin daughters because they love to push things around and thought the stroller would be great. The only good thing IS the stroller with the doll in it without the travel seat. My daughters love to push the stroller around. The travel seat doesn't fit the stroller very well and keeps falling off. The high chair is flimsy (not the frame but the way the travel seat fits into the frame to make the high chair). The bassinet/cradle works is held into place cheaply and is lopsided even with the doll in it. Overall, this is a cheaply made item and not worth the price.
We could have just purchased a stroller system for a lot less money.

My daughter does like this toy and does play with it but I didn't realize that it wasn't seperate pieces. I thought the swing and the highchair were different pieces, they use the same stand. This makes a good toy to store or travel with sense it comes apart and doesn't take up much room. The travel seat handle is hard to adjust and the cloth cover slips of easily, as well as the stroller cloth cover.
