This is the most boring, stupidest, piece of crud i have ever seen. If you are smart, never, ever, even think about buying this toy. Only an idiot would go ahead and buy it after i told you this. It is a huge dissapointment, I used two weeks of allowence to buy this, and when I took him out of the box and put batteries in, I almost cried.

I'm plaing about that,but don't get this,the first 4 days it's cool with the walking,dancing,burping,and whisling, but thats basicly it.It's stupied.I rather get the raptor one.

this toy is OK it only walks it pick stuff up but i also would like to know why dose it say a fusion of personalty and technolgy i mean it only walks i recomend this toy a bit just a bit but its ok if you do have enogh money get mini roborapter

We received this for Christmas (along with lots of other Chicco and other brand toys)and a month later - my kids still won't let me put Bear Ville away to rotate it with the others!! My 2 and 1/2 year old and 15 month do not tire of this toy - AT ALL!! It's a great toy, very durable and even I don't get bored sitting w/ them and playing with it day after day after day. We have a lot of the Fisher Price Little People stuff and the Little People toys just don't compare with Bear Ville. The kids lose interest w/ Little People but not Bear Ville. You really won't be disappointed with this toy! I just wish Chicco would make other Bear Ville type items! I'd buy every one!

This toy was a godsend! William received this activity center for his 1st birthday, and he adored it! When he was little, I'd place the Bear Ville Activity Center in the center of the living room floor, and he'd play for 45-minutes or more. This toy never got old for him because I rotated his toys. Moreover, this plaything keeps kids interested, because there are so many activities to explore. The progressive learning is great too. Children understand almost instantly how to get the garage spinning, and it's probably the highlight of the unit. The shape sorter was entertaining too. Unlike other shape sorters, this unit requires the shapes be sorted properly, which I like. It led to a bit of frustration early on, but he caught on, and enjoyed that aspect enormously. The stairway was one activity that took a while to catch on. He didn't understand how to operate the catapult movement until he was probably 2-years old, but then he'd snap a bear in place and continually fling him off the platform. This produced many fits of laughter! William is now 4� and has outgrown the toy; however, he still asks to play with it when he has the Full Service Garage out. I'm not sure why that is, but in his mind, they go together.

The only safety concern we've encountered with the Bear Ville Activity Center was with the shape sorter. Soon after William received the toy, he tried to retrieve the circular shapes by forcing his hand at the entrance point, rather than flipping the door open. His hand was stuck, and he cried, but it didn't discourage his play session. He continued to play on as if nothing happened. I think if there's any room for improvement, I'd suggest to the company that they eliminate the circular shape in exchange for maybe a diamond, or a heart-shape so children can't wedge their little hands in the circular opening.

If you've read any of my other Chicco toy reviews, you know I think they're fabulous playthings! They are heavy-duty, developmental, toys that children seem to love. The Bear Ville Activity Center has been dropped, and even been stepped upon umpteen times, and shows little signs of wear. It's easy to clean too. Just apply soapy water with cloth, and in minutes, it's ready for play. Definitely a winner in our household.

We were visiting my inlaws in Europe and they bought this toy for our 20 month old daughter. Out of all the toys we brought over she played with this everday. We actually had to ship it back with us. Now she is 3 and my youngest is 1 and this is still the most popular toy in the house. It have the typical shape sorter and hammer combo, but the stairs where the bear pops out and the cars are the big hit. I would recommend this toy to anyone. Very durable, washes it up great, and still fun even after having it over a year. We have bought many other Chicco toys and this is still the winner. I have never written a review on Amazon, but believe this deserves a five star rating.

I got the crib, pram and doll for my very nearly 3 year old. The crib is too small and does not even come with a blanket. As she was unhappy with the doll and stroller, this item has been returned. Also it is constructed of very hard, non durable plastic. Not practical for her age.

This crib is adorable, but there are a few things I think would have made it even better:
1. I wish it came with a blanket and pillow. It does have a thin pad in the bottom to lay the doll on, but it would've been nicer if it also had a blanket and pillow that matched. (Now I have to make them myself and they won't be a perfect match.)
2. I WISH it could rock! This will be a Christmas gift for my daughter and I have waffled over returning it and buying a cradle instead just because I know my daughter would LOVE it if she could rock the baby to sleep in it. (I'm keeping it since it matches the doll and since it is so cute...so now I'm brainstorming how I can add to it to make it rock without making it look ugly!:))
3. I wish it were a few inches longer. Princess Alexa is a 16" doll and she just barely fits in it, with no room to spare. It would be better if the interior length was at least 18" long.

We bought this crib along with the doll for our 4 yr old daughter. She loves it. The crib was easy to put together, and seems as though it will stay that way. The diagrams were easy to follow. It is just plastic, however, so it won't hold up to a lot of abuse from enthusiastic youngsters. Still, my daughter loves it, and the doll. I would buy it again. Good price for what it is, and Mattel is a well-known brand. Good for this year's "hot" toy, but won't last years and years in order to be an heirloom. i know that this review isn't going to be very helpful if you're planning on getting this. i don't have one but i'm gonna ask my dad to order it for me today. when i read about yeah i think it sounds cute. i know my parents think i'm a little old for this stuff (i'm 12) but i don't really care i still feel like 10! anyway i hope i like this and i also hope that other people who buy are gonna like it too. sure, when i read about this i wished it could do a little more but hey, i'm the customer not the manufacturer! i'll see what its like if i get it and besides, i don't have any interactive dolls, like this or furby or anything. and it's cheaper than furby. sure it can't DO as much as furby as i've read. but its cheaper and i'll see if whether or not i wanna get a furby after this. even though i don't have this yet, i suggest this mainly for children around the age 10, even though i'm older than that. sorry that this wasn't very helpful but i hope it was somewhat. bye!

My daughter received this highchair/swing as a gift for her second birthday! It was a absolute piece of JUNK! I would have to say that it was definetely not worth the money. As far as looks it was very realistic but every time my daughter barely touched it, it fell apart. The tray wouldn't stay on for anything. It was quite heavy and if it were to fall on your child's toe it would really hurt. Every time she took her baby out of the high chair the fabric seat would come off with the baby. The snaps that were supposed to keep the seat from swinging when it was converted to a high chair were useless. Most of the time we had a swinging high chair with no tray or seat, pretty much just metal bars. I wouldn't recommend this toy to anyone! The Little Mommy high chair is sturdier, but is exceptionally small! We are still in search for the right high chair.

I got this for my daughter's 2nd birthday. It took about 15 minutes to snap together, although the directions are completely obtuse and worthless. I couldn't get one leg to stay attached unless I pushed it in so far that the #1 setting for the toy was useless. Then I couldn't get the leg OUT to correct it. The seat is fabric that stretches over a metal frame--with no support in the middle, so if your child places any pressure on it at ALL, the fabric comes off the frame. The 'tray' attachment is a total mystery--I am a fairly sturdy, strong woman, and I could NOT get that tray attached--had to have my husband do it, yet with feather pressure from any of us including the 2 year old, the tray pops off.
Absolutely dreadful waste of time, returning it today--luckily I could fit all the pieces back in the box as I couldn't disassemble the toy completely!

The Ocean Wonders doll accessories aren't actually made by Fisher-Price. They are made by Tolly Tots and sold under the Fisher-Price label. I purchased the stroller and the high chair, expecting quality Fisher-Price toys. They come in several small pieces that take time and effort to assemble, and are of poor quality. Don't be fooled by the Fisher-Price label like I was! You would be wise to spend a little more money on a better quality toy!
