Princess Alexa Carrier

Nice Carrier for Princess AlexaThis is a nice carrier for the Princess Alexa doll. It is designed well, so the straps actually hold her in (unlike others I've seen, where the doll tends to fall out head first!). My daughter LOVES giving her doll the light-up binky... the only draw-back is that it is attached to the carrier with a long ribbon! (I may cut the ribbon and tie a cute hair clip on the end, so we can have the binky unattached, or attach it to the carrier with the clip "when we want to" ...haven't decided yet!) The comb for the child is cute and sturdy plastic. This is a cute accessory set. I love the whole Princess Alexa line!

13" Potty Time Tinkles Baby Doll with Training Guide for Girls & Boys - Mint Green Shirt

Not good for toilet trainingI can hardly get the doll to pee, never mind my daughter. You have to squeeze the stomach so hard that it is almost impossible to get any water to come out while you try to hold it over its potty. My daughter cannot get the bottle in the mouth to feed it either since it is such a tight fit. I do not recommend this for potty training.
Difficult Doll for Toilet Training; Kids enjoy for playtimeI am very disappointed in this doll. I bought it to use with "Toilet Training in Less than a Day." Within 10 minutes of using the doll, one of the rubber legs popped off. Then it took 15 minutes to get the leg back in place and not even five minutes later our 3 year-old daughter accidentally pulled it off while trying to dress her. Our 3 year-old loves to play with her, but the doll is really hard to get to wet in the potty. It was hard for me to squeeze her tummy hard enough to get the water out and it was impossible for my 3 or 5 year-old to do it. We would have been better off saving our money and buying a plastic $5 doll at Wal-Mart that wets easier. I know the cheaper ones tinkle faster, but I'd rather have a small clean-up and faster results, than frustrated little ones waiting for the water to come out.
Hardly works at all as a toilet training aid.Three major problems with this doll:
1> The pants that come with the doll were impossible for my son to take off. It was *almost* impossible for me. They are extremely tight and will only come off the doll if the legs are in the perfect position. As it says in Azrin/Foxx, it is important for the toddler to do these things for themselves. This is impossible with this doll.
2> The doll does not always wet when it should. If you're trying to demonstrate wetting, you need to squeeze over and over again. It got to the point where we had to explain to our son that he does not need to squeeze his stomach to pee.
3> The bottle just barely fits inside the dolls mouth. It was very difficult for our son to feed the doll.
While the instructions name-check Azrin/Foxx, the makers of this doll seem to intend it to be for the adult to use, not for the child. One of the primary tenants of Azrin/Foxx method is that the child does the things themselves after being shown and told what to do.
I'm very disappointed in this product.
