Using the stock battery in your new Powerwheels will ultimately lead to a large disappointment. The battery is a simple Sealed lead acid battery. The same kind as you find in a battery backup unit for your PC.

The stock battery will only last about 10 minutes of continuous level ground use. Start adding small hills and start/stops and it goes down even further.

Plus the charger that comes from Fisher Price is a joke too. There is no over-charge protection available, and if you forget about it while charging, you'll ruin the $60 battery.

Do yourself a favor and buy an aftermarket battery for those Powerwheels. You can buy them at a much higher run-time as well, and this allows you to spend more time with the kids playing, rather than charging batteries.

You can buy a regular car charger for the new battery, and it will not only charge faster (2 hours compared to the stock 18 hour recharge time) but it will last longer since there is no chance of over-charging. You could buy the battery and charger for less than this stock battery with fisher price's logo slapped on it.

The battery stays charged for a very long time. You get tired of watching the kids before the battery goes dead.

this ridew on car is the cutest!!! Everyone in my neighborhood has bought this car for their child after seeing mine!!!however it is extremely noisy when pushing it in the street...so i hope you dont want to have a conversation with anyone on this walk because you wont be able to hear them!!!

We recently purchased this for my son, and he (and we) have already put many miles on it! He loves climbing in it, and pushing on the horn, and climbing out of it to look under the hood. The seat belt is a terrific feature, since he occasionally gets distracted and leans over the side when we are moving. Very safe and lots of fun. The toy is somewhat small, so he probably will only be able to use it for a few months, but it is well worth it. Like the other reviewers, we agree that it is quite noisy on the pavement, but that doesn't seem to diminish his enjoyment, or the ride.

I work PT at Janie and Jack, where we have one of these rockets on display. All the kids LOVE it. Boys, girls, a whole range of ages from infant through toddlers. I can also say I've been very impressed at how well it's held up against the abuse our many guests can dole out. Highly recommend it! -Rich

I bought this toy for my son when he turned a year and it has turned out to be the best purchase I have made in a long time. He is now 15 months and it is still a daily play toy.
He loves the buttons and pushes it all over the house. The seat has a compartment and he loves to put various toys inside and then ride it around the house.
I wouldn't use it outdoors because it really is a nice toy to have so keep it indoors and have a blast!!!

We got this for our little boy's 2nd birthday and he LOVES it. He didn't actually ride on it the first couple weeks but he pushed it around like a big car, liked to put things in the secret storage compartment, he'd flip it over and play with the wheels, push the buttons and click the nose cone. Once he started riding on it, it was just one more fun thing to do with it. I was worried that the lack of an actual steering wheel might be a drawback since a steering wheel is one of his favorite things in the world but he never seemed to mind it being fixed in place. The vibrating button scares him a little and sometime he'll push that button and then run a few steps away from it while it does the big noise and vibration.

I've seen a couple negative reviews where people thought it was bigger from looking at the picture, assumed it was made of metal and were disappointed to discover it's plastic... Well, if you read the info that's available to you before ordering you won't be disappointed when what you get is not what you imagined. It's exactly what I expected, perfect size for a 32.5" tall 2 year old to sit on and doesn't take up too much space around the house either. It does have a couple slight scratches from being turned upside down but toys are meant to be played with, not kept pristine IMO, so we're not woried about it.

One note: beware of eBay sellers trying to price gouge this item, claiming it's HTF, rare, etc. I looked there to do some price comparisons and people were setting minimum bids higher than you can buy it for through established retail outlets online, and with higher shipping costs.

Anyways, it's perfect and he loves it. I don't consider it to be intended as an educational toy, hence the 3 star rating. Do your research before buying and let the fun begin!

My active 18 month-old daughter has been harassing her five year-old brother for his ride-on vehicles. In order to keep the peace I ordered this for her. Halleleujah! She loved it the moment it got out of the box and it's a perfect fit. Best of all, older brother likes ot push her on rides. Excellent value (it was 50% off when I purchased).

this little tyke ride-on car was given to my oldest boy on his first b-day 2 years ago! he loved it and still loves it today! my two year old rides it now and loves it too! we were going to get one of those ride ons that makes noise and don't look as durable! we are so glad we chose this! its a winner! you cant go wrong w/little tyke brand!

My son received this for his first birthday and now almost 2 years later, he still plays with it. There has been no other toy that has kept his attention this long. Not only has he enjoyed it by himself, but he has also enjoyed "pushing" his friends around the house too. Great for indoors or outdoors - and I especially like that it doesn't make noise - something parents can appreciate!

We had this grocery cart for three years. I would give the basket and base ten stars for sturdiness. After lots of play though, the wheels will no longer stay; I got tired of "popping" them back into place. Overall, three years has been a good lifetime for this toy!

We bought this shopping cart for my daughter's birthday to replace the cheapie one she'd had before. Her previous one had cost under $10 (a gift) and there is no comparison between that one and the Little Tikes one. The old one was flimsy from the get go, faded quickly, and when it broke, left sharp edges in the plastic. The Little Tikes cart is much, much sturdier and safer.

I put it together in less than 30 minutes, even with my daughter's 'help'. There's a nice deep basket that holds a good amount of pretend play food or whatever else your child wants to push around. The seat for a doll folds against the cart just like a real shopping cart, and easily holds a good variety of different style dolls. The empty shelf under the basket is a nice touch, perfect for stashing more groceries.

This cart is definitely worth the extra money, and I'd gladly buy it again.

Let me start by saying my son has had this toy for over three years and it is his absolute favorite. Since he's had it so long I can tell you its very durable. We haven't had any problems. This is the one and only toy he has used every single day since we bought it. He uses it for pretty much everything, but especially for cleaning up. He uses it to gather up all of his toys and take them to his bedroom to put away. He also loves to use it to play store.

The only problem with this toy: when his friends come over they want to play with it too! Maybe I should get a few more of them!

I would highly recommend this toy to anyone!

My son is 2 and a half and this was his first bike.He looks adorable on the bike but unless I want to go over and help him he can't seem to manage on his own.Why?Well the darn trike is impossible to steer for one and secondly it tips over very easily.It is really unsturdy.Also what is up with no breaks? This is a cute bike to take some pics looking cute but for serious bike riding..forget it! -mom in Orlando,FL

My son is almost [...] - he loved the bike but it took less then 1 weekend for the handle to break off.
I thought that we just got a bad sample so we requested a replacement, it took less than 5 minutes for this one to break.
So my son does not have a bike and I have to start looking for one that will last 1 summer at least.

Bought this for our gentle 3 year old daughter. In a couple of months of light use, the front bearings are shot. Also, didn't realize it until we got the trike home -- it has no brakes!!!! We live on a long, inclined hill... so we're teaching her "Okay, if you start going too fast, head for some grass." Not a lot of security in that lesson. She likes the trike, likes the fact it has a trunk (so do I). The push bar is sturdy enough for us, and has come in handy for pushing her uphill. But, in all, I'd say Radio Flyer let us down... and it's going back to the store.

We live in So. Cal. in mild weather, stored the wagon in the backyard where it did find some rain and sun, but after only ONE YEAR the seatbelts disintegrated/rotted and fell off. The wagon is still great and we trust that our almost 3 yr. old wont jump out but we can't trust that out 15 mo. old wont try so we wont be using the wagon until she is a bit older.

I had bought the Radio Flyer ATW Wagon (Nice Wagon too) for my daughter, now 5.
My youngest son is 15 months, Well, it was OK for her, but he would NOT sit still in the wagon and wanted to stand ALL the
time, so neither one us was enjoying it, we had to stop every 5 seconds to sit him down. My daughter wasn't too happy either.
So, Got online and found this, GREAT IDEA!! Seatbelts!!
FINALLY we can put our youngest 2 in and they have a great time!
Perfect for trips to the Zoo! No more worry about him falling out or standing up in the middle of a ride! And yes the handle is great, just takes a bit getting used to it not free moving like the other one we had, but great stearing overall.

This Radio flyer Pathfinder is the SUV of red wagons...my nephew's Mother like it for these reasons:

Sporty Look,offering tikes (toddlers) luxurious amount of riding "towing space" The wagon has 2 convertible seats.. that fold into one big wagon...which is nice for "towing" things around like a blasket of food for a day and it flips up for comfortably of two children...webbed seatbelts are A MUST for my 11 month old nephew and makes sure he does not bounce out when riding over rough terrain.the pathfinder is a interior also has four built-in cup holders to keep children's slippy cups and/or juice boxes...secured during the ride..the extra-long handle..is a must for TALL people..loop grip that even my nephew can control and that folds under the wagon for more copact storage ..like all radio flyer wagons,this one has heavy axles to handle alot of weight ...heavy-duty casters for making tight turns without tipping, and durable rubber tires that provie a soft quiet ride...the pathfinder measures 39-1/4inches long,19inches wide,and 16-1/2inches tall

Over all the Pathfinder is like a SUV for KIDS!! i love pulling it because its so easy to pull without pulling a muscle in my back ...i cant wait to pull both toddlers in this wagon... so much easyer then a single stroller! over all it was a GREAT Pre-birthday gift...i even pulled my sister in the wagon... it still was really ez to pull though! and we love it here!! over all a great toy/wagon!

My daughter loves this car. However, my husband felt that the instructions needed words as well as pictures. He didn't get it together as easily as we thought he would. But, it's worth it to see her happily riding!

We bought this even after reading reviews of the difficult assembly. Solution is - don't follow the manufacturer's instructions!! The instructions tell you to assemble the large vertical yellow pieces to the top and then push all four yellow connections into the bottom of the coupe. It works much more easily if you assemble the verticals to the body and then assemble the top to the verticals. The whole thing goes together much more easily - just a few taps with a wooden mallet. The steering wheel ring is a pain.
The Coupe, once assembled, is a fantastic rider - can't be beat. Our grandson loves it.

My cousin had this toy for the children at a family barbeque. Once my 2-year-old spotted the car, he wouldn't leave it alone! He loved steering, moving around, but it seemed his most favorite thing to do was to opening and closing the door and getting in and out.

I would like to warn parents - Good luck getting your child away from the thing! My son even hesitated to stop playing with it for lunch - and that NEVER happens as he loves his lunchtime! :o)

This is a well made trike that should last a long time. I just wish that they had a push bar that was compatible.

This trike is great. I ordered one at Christmas time and got free shipping for one of my sons who was turning 2. We gave it to him for his birthday in March and he loved it. It held up very well through the first summer outdoors. Then the next Christmas I ordered another one for my youngest sons' 2nd birthday (Taking advantage of the free shipping again). He loved it just as much and I knew the fights over the first bike were over. My sons are now 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 and the bikes look like new. They still play with them on a daily basis and even my 7 year old will hop on once in a while--never hurting the trike. I also do home daycare and have 4-5 other kids playing with them too. Almost two years later no complaints. I have actually had 2 of my daycare moms order them for their kids at home. Awesome trike!

LOVE this bike, we bought this bike last year for our son at Christmas. He was 2 1/2 he is now 3 1/2 and we cannot go outside without him jumping on it and riding down the sidewalk. We bring it in at nite so he can ride it around the house. He LOVEs it.
It is very sturdy. We had thought about buying him another ride on toy for Christmas this year , but don't think we will, I don't think he would ride anything else.
