        Great bike but...
The Pacific bike is great if what you are looking for is a bike which is not too fancy. It is quite durable as claimed. But the only thing that is not mentioned on this page is that it comes unassembled. This can be a hassle if you do not have the equipment to do it yourself. I think consumers would like to have this aspect pointed out at the point of purchase itself. It wasnt obvious to me and I think there would be others like me out there.

        Newly Assembled Mom
Just assembled this bike, easy to do. Tested it in rain, needs fenders. A little heavy, but sturdy, stylin' purple+black, Toys-R-us coupon and sale = $42 total purchase price. Go to a local store!

                  16" Mongoose Bike
I bought this bike for my 4 year old son for xmas. I paid $15 dollars for Toys R Us to put it together. My son rode it on xmas day and then it went into the cellar until April. When he started to ride the bike every day it seem that something new went wrong with every day. The peddle kept falling off. I would put it back on and I am kind of handy but it kept falling off. The back breaks were pressed against the wheel so tight the bike would not go. The overall sturdiness of the bike was not good. I called Toys r Us and told them the problems I was having with the bike. The women that I talked to asked me if I bought the warrentee. I said no. She said I would have to pay for the bike to be looked at. I told her I would not pay them to look at the bike. I feel this was a quality issue not a warentee issue I feel that they should have taken the bike back. Anyway, I paid $ 40 to have a bike shop fix the bike. It is better but still having problems with the rear brake. Lesson learned here. Dont buy a bike from Toys r us. They dont stand behind their merchandise, and with all that agravation my son went with out a bike for almost two weeks. Very frustrating. It might be worth it to look into a bike shop. Instead of a toy store. Dont buy this bike it is a piece of junk!

                  Awful!
What a piece of junk! The back wheel is not true and the training wheels are off kilter. My 4 yr old son rides it leaning to right, because of the wheels. Don't waste your money on this bike!

                  What the.......
What the hell are you doing letting a 2 yr. old ride a 16" bike.

That must be one big dude. Neither of my kids were big enough at 2 to fit on a 16" bike.
