I opened the package, put the scooter together and immediately, the front wheel broke off. Thankfully, my two-year old was not hurt. The front wheel comes already attached to its piece (the front wheel assembly) but the plastic broke and the wheel flew out - within 5 minutes of putting it together. I may have to contact the feds to suggest a recall of this items. Extremely dangerous!

A major part of this toy is missing which is the bolt around the top of the front wheel which holds the main frame to the front wheel. My son would love to ride his scooter very soon. I would like to have this part sent to me without having to return the whole scooter. If this is possible please let me know.. I only have 30 days to return it if necessary.

I bought this scooter for my sons 4th birthday. It was so easy to put together and he absolutely loved it. He got on it and started off with no problems. It's a great first scooter especially for the young ones!!!

I own a full face helmat similar to this. Now i belive that no matter how much you spend on a full face helmat its worth it. I have had mine for about 3 years. And i love it to death. I'm an avid mountain biker. I try to trail ride 4 to 5 days a week. My helmat has saved my face so many times I cannot keep track. Without it i probaly wouldnt be here. Just last firday I crashed into a black berry bush going 30 mph+. My only complaint/ sugestion, is that it depends on how much and how hard your ride your bike. Yes these types of helmats make you feel indestructable. But they get outragously HOT. THe hot air that comes out goes straigh into your face (because of the mouth gaurd) or right into the top ot the helmat. Now im not trying to discourage you. Full face helmats are the best thing to hit the biking world. But just make sure the helmat you choose has room for you to breath and pleanty of air hole in the top.

I boughted for my son. No safety switch. So any small kid's can step on easily on accelator & may get hurt.

Wheels grip is very thin. So wheels got flat & wheels get round & round without moving forward. No fun toys like horn.

Overall speed is OK. But durability is no good. Especailly wheel got flat in three month. I boughted on 05/16 & now wheel need to replace.

protection should be taught early

This scooter is awful. My rather small 5 year old received it as a gift and was constantly catching her foot on the training wheels trying to make it go and w/the trainers off there isn't enough room for her feet. It's definately going back to the store!

I bought this scooter for my daughter's 4th birthday. She loves it. We did encounter one problem though. Her foot kept hitting the training wheels when she would push. Since she wasn't ready to go on just two wheels yet, my husband took ONE of the training wheels off. This works great! There is still one on for balance, and her foot doesn't hit anything when she pushes. She loves the bag on front, too.

Extremely poor quality. My daughter also caught her foot on the training wheels like the other 3 reviewers discovered. I think we might have a class action suit against Dynacraft.

Not to mention we could have got something else for the same price and twice the quality and it is already assembled. It would also support local businesses that are being driven out by companies like Amazon.com Not worth the money or the effort to even open the box and put it together. Not to mention to pain and expense of take it apart and putting it back together to send it back to get our money back. Shame on you Dynacraft and Amazon.com for not screening the quality of the products they sell! I will tell all family and friends to never purchase a Dynacraft item from anyone.
