My som got this scooter for his birthday and what a waste of money. My [...] has been riding scooter's since he was 18 months. This scooter has the worse design. There is not even enough room to barely get one foot on the scooter and the way the back wheels are designed it makes it very difficult for a child to even get his foot on it. It also tips over very very easily. My [...] nephew tried it and as soon as he turned it, it flipped over (and he also is used to riding scooters). This toy is a waste of money. I threw it out. I wouldn't dare give it to another child. Oh and the noises it makes - will drive parents crazy. I have bought other Harley Davidson products and thought they were made very well. This is just a waste of money!

We bough this scooter believing the three-wheel design and urethane wheels would provide safety. Wrong!

The scooter tips very easily, the wheels are hard and don't ride smoothly as would rollerblades or a skateboard, and the turning front wheel/handle design is an accident waiting to happen. The rear wheels are covered by plastic fenders molded into the riding platform that make it difficult for a toddler to place their "pushing" foot onto the platform. Also, the reving sound on this particular Harley-designed model gets nervewrecking after only a few minutes. We removed the batteries.

If you're seeking a scooter for toddlers (ages 3-4), look for a different model with a lower, flatter platform and softer wheels.

My almost three year old and I sat down together to look at this site in search of a scooter. Well, right away, the Harley Scooter was his choice. I was so disappointed when I read the reviews but ended up giving it a chance and purchased it for my son's birthday. My son hopped on the scooter and took off down our sidewalk. Within minutes, he was able to put both feet up and glide down the walk! He loves to rev up the engine sound and likes how the lights turn on just like his grandpa's harley. IF your child has good coordination than this is the right scooter for him/her. I am so glad we gave it a chance!!!

A great first scooter, but the front decorative plate is WAY too wide on the handle bars. We had to remove it to make room for my son's hands to safely grasp the handle bars without hanging off the ends :(. I was very surprised this design flaw was not discovered in product testing. Other than that, a great scooter.

My son received this at his 3rd birthday party, and its his favorite thing! His uncle is 5 and has one just like it, and my son has always loved it and wanted one too. We use it in the house, because we'd be scared to have our 3 year old out in the road with this. Maybe in another year with a helmet and knee pads we'll let him take it outside. But he loves it indoors, scoots all over the house, even on carpet.

The assembly was quick and easy, not a big deal. The scooter is sturdy and well made, and most of the bolts are covered. The only ones that aren't are the ones on the wheels. He has cut his ankle once on the one on the wheel, but if he was wearing shoes this wouldn't have happened. This is the perfect size for a preschooler, I wouldn't buy it for anyone over like 4, maybe 5 years old.

The graphics are really cool on this too. The little guys seem to love their Spiderman. (...)

I bought this go-kart for my five year old son and he loves it. However, so do I! I'm not sure who has more fun on it. ;O) The car is very heavy and solid. It's not one of those junky plastic things. It's made by HONDA, so that fact alone speaks for itself. The car is quick, but safe. It's super quiet. It charges easily and runs for a good amount of time. My son is bored for the day before the charge runs out. It is easily stopped by pulling the t-bar on the back if necessary. My son finds it easy to steer and he maintains perfect control of it while driving. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
The only issue I have with the car (and it's not a huge one) is that the plastic trims could secure better to the car. They shake a bit because they are held on by plastic overlays on pipes. My son bumped something lightly and the front popped off because a piece cracked. I'm always afraid they're going to crack on a bump or something. Replacement parts are available at a reasonable cost, but I expect reasonable use of the ones I have first before I have to buy them. Otherwise, the car is EXTREMELY well built with a welded frame and top of the line mechanical parts.
I know the price tag is an issue for some people, but I have no argument for that point in my case. I bought mine on clearance at Walmart for only $125.00!!!! Can you say bargain? Apparently, no one wanted these at the initial high price or possible did not know they were there. WHATEVER! If there were more, I would have bought all of them. GO GET ONE!

Got this for my son and daughter months ago. It is fantastic! It looks like a formula 1 car with controls on the steering wheel. From a Electrical Engineering standpoint it is first rate, with decent components and fairly high tech speed controler. It runs about 15-20 mph with a sub 60 pound kid, for just shy of an hour and charges fairly quickly as well. My kids are 7 and 9. Once they get older, I'll reconfigure it to run faster-a simple circuit mod. Soon after that I will adapt to a 2 cycle engine with the same wheels chasis. THIS IS A TRUE GO-KART- Not a powerwheel that you'll kick to the curb on trash day in a year or two. It turns on a dime and is as silent as an electric toothbrush. As far as those individuals with problems? I suspect abuse or overloading the speed controler. But parts are cheap and available from many sources(including the manufacturer) This is a first rate, silent (won't wake the neighbors) car that you'll buy for less than a video game system and software. You will not be disappointed. Your child will be the envy of the neighborhood. The kids with gas karts can't ride around most suburban streets legally!

this kart looks uber-tight, but a [...]price tag? is it really worth the money, i doubt my parents would ever buy that! i like to ride cars downhill and i'm not sure thi would be the best selection for that kind of thing. suprisingly enough, ive gone down my street over 10mph on a little tikes truck. i need something sleek cool, good turning, it doesn't even require a engine some1 make a counter-review to this

It is the slowest go-ped i have ever rode. I have to keep returning it to the shop beacuse the engine keeps breaking. Don't get it.

My opinon is that this scooter deserves atleast 5 stars.I hope I have enough money to by this AWESOME scooter!!

once again it looks great and my friend bought it. i rode it it OWNS!!! now im going to try really hard. g2g cya
