My 4 year old daughter HAD to have this doll which is beautiful until you take it out of the box. It is difficult for her to change the outfits because they snap very hard into a very tight spot. Also, the wings are constantly falling off to the point that I had to tape them to the doll so she could play with it. We were both very frustrated with the doll so now she doesn't play with it at all now.

My 5 year old had to have this. It has fiber optic lights in the wings. Very pretty. She's spoiled, so it's not played with much, but it was worth the price.

I have always wanted Elina,and here`s my chance!She is only $7.50.THATS CHEAP!!She is adorable too!I have all the Barbie Princesses and MOST oF the movies.Unlike the mermaidia mermaids,I would suggest not to but her in the bath tub.If you look at the closup of her face,it`s so cute!She looks GORGEOUS!!!I mean,really,REALLY pretty~It`s amnazind how they did her beautiful face!GOOD WORK MATTEL!!!

I am so glad the came up with the Bratz styling heads, especially the slumber party. Now THAT'S a toy! I am not interested in this so much because when I hit my birthday party for turning 10, I got this, last year. First, I hate Barbie. So annoying. Just kewl for doing the hair and decorating her lips and eyes with eyeliner. Second, not durable. Her hair flies everywhere and it falls off any surface! Third, make a kewler version. Fashion Fever is not kewl-they sould have a punk or princess or something! Last, roght now, it's upside down in my closet right now. The primp and polish Barbie styler is a little kewler because I never get to do any one's nails, and I love painting nails! But they should make a Bratz thing like that- call it Bratz Wild Wild West! Fashion Styling Face and Nails-that would be kewl- with a huge cowgirl hat and everything! Oh, I have another suggestion- make Bratz Boyz Sports Heads that comes with the black (washable) paint for under the eyes in football, gel, and a brush, and a mirror! Now this stuff is much kewler---yo should save your money! I mean, come on! There's a whole lot of better thngs out there! I will see if these inventions I want to ask Mattel for making would be a hit, I hope! So, sorry, Barbie lovers! I think you took the wrong path here to this dumb toy! I will donate mine to charity or just keep it for no reason. But anyway, save your money! It's overpriced, too!

These dolls are so cool .There 100% fun to play with .Everyone should like these .I love to comb the hair because I want to do hair when I grow up .I also like to put her earrings on and bracelets and make-up ,and doing all the other cool features .You can ask my mom,I buy every one that comes out .

I love this, and I seriously want this !!!!It's educational, and I, of course will have fun with her!!!She is so pretty!!And she looks so sweet!!!Of course a 6 month old swallowed it....it says 'Not for children under 3' Let alone 6 MONTHS!Thats why the instructions are there.You can't exactly blame Mattel for this can't you? She is the GREATEST toy I've ever seen!!Even though don't have it, I know buy heart little girls will spend loads of hours with it!!Hope this Helpes!!

My five year-old daugther wanted this Barbie computer Christmas after receiving the younger Barbie computer for her 3rd birthday. She did not get it because it seemed expsensive but bought it herself with her Christmas money. She loved it from the start. She likes the games and the Spanish on it, too. She loved the mouse at first but then realized that it doesn't travel as well as the ones without a mouse (needs a solid surface versus using it in the car, airplane, drs office). The screen could be larger of course. She finds some games a challenge to figure out the rules and how-tos but overall loves her computer. She is very pleased with her purchase and I think she will be playing it for a couple years. The games are good for the ages 5-8 range.

My 6-year old daughter AND her friend got one of these for Christmas. THEY LOVE IT!!! It has tons of learning games and 5 levels on each game. I can't tell you how much this has helped her reading and writing skills. Once you complete a level, you get a "prize picture". I've been looking all over for the expansion cards because she noticed that they have a slot for them. I have had no luck. I would HIGHLY recommend this product.

I love this toy so much! The screen isn't too small, it's quite big actually! It has a crystal clear LCD screen display and when I was first given it 3 years ago, (I was 3 then, now I'm 6) I hated it because whenever Barbie (I am and was the No.1 fan of Barbie!) came on screen, the laptop wouldn't let me dress her or style her hair but now I'm 6 I can just go on to the Art program on here and design gashions for her. I can take my very own Barbie laptop everywhere! Barbie comforts me by saying I'll do better next time when I do badly on a game and when I do good she praises me and makes me really happy! My brother Macie age 5 got the Hot Wheels laptop and we play on our laptops together and our parents Sara and Tom, think we're sweet when we play on them. Anyway, back to the subject, after 3 years the toy laptop has stayed together fine. Now I've got to go because I want to play on my Barbie laptop!

Chelsea is very pretty doll.When I first saw her I knew I had to get her.The price was well worth it but now she isn't avalable(bummer).She has brown silky hair, that's very durable and brown eyes.The colors and styles of the accssories shone in the picture may very.She comes with a second outfit that you can mix and match with the first,without making it look weird.Her accssories include a bag,sketches,some art supplies,a beret,some make-up,a book,a make-up box,a purse and a phone. There's also a charm bracelet for you.This is a great doll to add to your collection,and if you play with her she and all her accssories are very durable.HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter just received this laptop for her 4th birthday. I would love to give it 5 stars, but it is entirely TOO LOUD. It is hard to imagine that a product that can do so many things does not have volume control. In order for her to use it, I am going to have to figure out how to tape something over the speaker to reduce the volume. I'd be interested to know what decibal this product is tested at. It can NOT be healthy for anyone's hearing. Very disappointed.

My 4yo daughter got this for her birthday last Sept. and mastered it a long time ago. There's no way the age range can be 3-9 (much less 12). It IS loud and there is NO volume control. I also don't think it's worth the money.

My youngest DD wanted an 'omputah' for her december birthday [she was turning 3] My mom wished to get something to fit so I picked this out based on the wide age range - figuring she'd just push buttons for awhile . . . it's now been about three full months and using it a few times a week she now knows her letter and numbers [and she's the third kid so you can be sure I wasn't teaching her LOL] and I figured out which toy it was because she also wil point to, say, an owl somewhere and say 'o is for owl!' which is the word the machine uses
Her newly 6yo brother enjoys playing with it [different parts obviously] and now I'm here looking for a boyish one to spend his birthday gcs on cause he hates the indignity of having to ask his baby sister for permission to use hers LOL

I bought this cat for my daughter after much anticipation and we were very dissappointed! Most of the cat's phrases are garbled and makes her sound demonized! We thought it was the batteries at first so we put new ones in but it still didn't work! FRUSTRATION! The cat could be soooo cute if it actually worked properly! The wiring is obviously not in right and it is too hard to get at with the huge battery pack in the way. Overall,I believe it could have been a great toy so buy one and pray that yours works. If it doesn't, return it.

This toy was a mistake right out of the box..In other words, it didn't work right out of the box. My daughter and I were so disapointed, don't waste your money even if it is only 10$, which is what I paid for it..............

This sux. My lil sis got it 4 christmas and only two of her 'phrases' are actually in the "serfina" voice. The others aren't. She was like that when we took her outta da box. we tried new batteries and it diddnt work. don't by this 4 ur kid. (I tried to give it 0 starz but it wouldn't let me). I'm all for Barbie but this diddn't work and it sux. DON'T MAKE UR KID SUFFER! DON'T BUY IT! BUY THEM SOMETHING ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! did ne1 listen?

My 3 year old got this for a Christmas present. She chose to play with it for the first time on a night she had a babysitter. Not only were there no directions but she was extremely disappointed to find no dolls. We have been in search of them for 3 weeks now and cannot seem to find dolls anywhere.

My daughter received this toy as a gift for Christmas 2004. We had quite a time finding furniture and accessories to go with it. I felt like I had won the lottery when I stumbled upon the last of each of the three furniture sets at a toy store. We bought most of the dolls on online auction. We love the Bandai Strawberry Shortcake products, especially the dolls which are virtually non-existant now that they are out of production. My four year old will play with her "Stawberries" for well over an hour at a time. I almost cried when I saw the new Strawberry Shortcake dolls manufactured by Playmates. (They don't look a thing like Strawberry Shortcake.) This house is worth the money, though we have had a few problems. The window flower boxes pop off from time to time but are easily popped back into place. Last week the latch broke, but in all fairness we had had it for over a year with no problems in that area and I was attempting to force it closed during a whirlwind tidying up session and part of it snapped off. My daughter seldom attempts to close it and hasn't even noticed the broken latch. She still plays with it all the time. My biggest criticism of this product isn't with the product itself. I just can't believe that they produced such tremendous quantities of these (they were stacked high in toy and dicount stores during the holidays of 2004) while producing such a scarcity of the furniture sets and dolls. People went to stores after Christmas to buy furniture and dolls and found nothing but filles and the mermaid line of dolls, with an occassional plaid clad Strawberry. What was Bandai thinking? They should have released another supply of Strawberry and her friends in their traditional outfits for all the little girls who found Berry Happy Homes under the tree that year. I cannot help but wonder if production and marketing mistakes such as these were the reason behind Bandai's loss of the contract to produce the Strawberry Shortcake toys. Regardless, the whole thing stinks. The new Playmates dolls are nothing short of ridiculous and I refuse to buy them. If I were you I would buy this house since what is left of the Bandai products is disappearing fast and the Playmates people are obviously pretty braindead about what Strawberry Shortcake should look like.

I recently brought this house for my 2 1/2 year old that is crazy over Strawberry Shortcake. It is a really cute house with plenty to keep her busy for hours and she loves the fact that she can take it and her dolls with her when we go somewhere. I was disappointed that it is impossible to get any of the extra furniture that is shown on the back of the box and I am not paying $60 and up for what they are going a set on eBay when they sold for just $17.00 a set in the stores. It is a real shame what they did to the new dolls that came out made by Playmate this year. They do not even look like the Strawberry Shortcake we have all grown to love over the years. This house is worth the money if you already have the dolls that were made by Bandai that are 5.5 inches, because if you don't they are getting really hard to find except on eBay.
