Barbie came to my house and kicked me in the face, and gagged me with her ballerina shoes. KILL IT DADDY!

I am happy with this purchase. I am not the craziest over the gown but this doll looks amazing redressed (and the gown is not that bad). Yes, I buy these dolls to remove from the box. This dolls has gorgeous pale porcelain skin and the thin collectible twist and turn body (as opposed to the belly button bodies the playline and SOME collectibles have- this means her hips are just a little bit slimmer). Her skin is gorgeous and I LOVE her light brown, softly wavy hair. Subtle makeup, and a high quality doll. I enjoy having her in my collection. The price is standard for the Silver Line collectibles.

This doll is considered the first Fashion Fever Barbie. Oh and what a grand entrance. Although she is a "Pink Box" or "Playline" doll, this doll has appeal to both young children and older collectors because of her stylish clothes and trendy accesories. This particular Barbie has the classic closed mouth Mackie face, wears a pink belly top, a tweed coat and tweed pants. Her cool black sunglasses and white purse complete her outift. She can be played with by young girls and displayed by the older collector. Her clothes can also be switched with other fashion fever dolls, or other collector dolls. The quality of the clothing and accessories is above average. The shoes are not cheap plastic but a type of softer vinyl mary jane style.

From head to toe this doll is a winner.
