i like it and everything but it gets boring once in a while

I have one of the same kind of dolls,same year.It is the African American girl-wonderful collectable.

please! this new line of "American Idol" barbies is so
ridiculous. i do, however, think that mattel has done quite a
good job of making $money$ by selling barbies with labels of popular shows and stuff. but, really. this is gettin to the point that barbie...isn't barbie anymore...she's american idol barbie...wierd. i think it would be better if stupid mattel made their OwN barbies...and not copy everything else. seriously.

I think that it is kind of cool,but the clothes are that it comes with,are UGLY!I think that no one on American Idol wears that stuff.Stage is sooooooooooooooooo cool!

I love this toy. I take it everywhere with me, on the bus to school,to the shopping store, everywhere.but the dolls are very crappy.This is a fairly good toy,just dont waste your moeny on the doll s for this,use other barbies,like pop star barbie.

This is house was awful to put together. If you do get it, do yourself a favor and put it together in the room you want to keep it--because the house will fall a part if you attempt to move it. It is a piece of junk that we had to return.

I wouldn't recommend anyone buy this doll house. It is cheaply made and will not stay together. It was easy to take out of the box(it's in many many pieces) but the assembly is a pain. I would have returned the item but wasn't put together until christmas eve night and then it was too late. If you walk across the floor it falls apart. The furniture it comes with is junk and falls apart. It had to be glued together just so it can be played with. It is also too small for a Barbie doll.

My daughter received this Barbie house as a gift. The assembly was a pain in the butt, but it has lots of really cool little extras that my daughter loves. It does not stay together well, and as one of the previous review states, you do not want to move the house once it is assembled. It is made of plastic and cardboard, and many items had to be glued. There are better houses out there, but overall we really like it. We do not feel that this house is a piece of junk, but if a durable wooden house is what you want you should not buy this product.

The doll is adorable- purple in her hair, a darling 'princess' dress, pretty face. BUT - the horse has some problems, the doll can not stay on the doll unless you hold it on, and the wings do not stay on- and the horse is not too cute imo. My daughter rarely plays with the horse due to the fact that this pegasus can't fly because of his 'broken' wings. If you get it on sale buy it, otherwise get a My Little Pony!

I dont like the material and print of the doll's clothing, it reminds me too much of how maria from the sound of music made the children clothes from her curtains! ha ha ha. I that barbie should have blonde hair, and not in that ugly bun, and lose the glasses, as with stacies ugly bandanna.

I really don't understand the negative reviews about this doll. She is a perfect reproduction of Lilly Pulitzer's early dresses.

Barbie and Stacey are beautiful in one of Lilly's early designs. I love Barbie's hair, and glasses.

On the back of the box there is a picture of Lilly and how she began her clothing business. Did you know that she was a juicer? She needed an outfit to cover up the juice stains, so she designed a beautiful flowery shift for work. The female customers wanted her dress more than her juice, so Lilly went into the clothing design business, and the rest is history.

Anyway, perfect doll for the collector, or children. A++++

Anyone who writes a bad review is obviously not familiar with Lilly Pullitzer or her decades of being a fashion icon. These dolls are 100% authentic of the early days of Lilly Pullitzer designs. They are a must have for a collector or someone with two girls. My girls (4 & 2)love the flowery outfits and how pretty they are, even though they have no idea idea who Lilly is. It's especially nice to have a fun "Sisters" toy that they can play and pretend with together. A+
