My daughters love this toy and I am getting the smaller ones for the bathtub as well. They are so happy to have bigger girl toys for the bath. The tail has never come off(it was hard to put on.) I was up set about the top comming off, but I super gluded it on and it has now stayed on for over a month, even in the bath.

I just got this Barbie doll for my younger stepsister. At first we thought that the tail was as everyone else described it: faulty. It wouldn't stay in. Then my stepmother took it, pushed a little harder, and now she can hold the thing by the fin and swing it around. Just put a little more pressure on it and it'll snap right in.

I too returned the first one thinking it was a faulty tail. But then I read the instructions and it actually tells you to snap it in place. Now it is fine. the tops fall off quite often, but only because my daughter is constantly carrying all three mermaids in her arms and they get knocked off. This is by far the greatest group of Barbies in my daughter's 4 year old eyes. She adores them.

My daughter received this HUGE toy Christmas from her Aunt. I finally got things just how I liked them and then I moved them around and then we re-arranged the stored. A couple hours later we changed it up a bit... We keep going back to this toy maybed because it's so big and catches our eye. Maybe because it's so much fun. My daughter is 5, my son is 4, and I am 27. All three of us are enjoying shopping and dining in the mall.

I love this mall. it has everything a Barbie doll would need to go shopping! I really love the fact that there are all of these tiny peices to set up. Most people would think that tiny peices are a pain, but i certainly don't. It is so much fun, whether you are into barbies or not, this toy will certainly draw you in.

Yes this is better than the normal (white) version. I prefer this over the "wigger" version that i previously owned(...). The black one mkes me more"happy"
