This is a very good ken doll. I like the way he has two oufits but he should have two pairs of boots. this doll is also very tall he has to bend down to kiss barbie but other wise he is great. the oufits are really nice and he comes with fun things to give anneliese and erika. I like the way you can make erika a princess with the crown.

This is, according to our daughter, a great Ken doll. It has the bonus of coming with an extra outfit (in the same period style as the one shown). His hair has some sort of hair gel on it to keep it in place, which doesn't stay in place long with average usage, but doesn't ever look bad. The hair is a little "greasy" to the touch, though. Also nice is that fact that he does bend at the elbows and knees so he can be posed in somewhat natural (well, for a Barbie doll) way.

I purchased this limo for my 6 year old daughter last November. The best part of the purchase was the free MP 3 player.
I agree with K. Mackey. I have tried everything to remove
the 4 bottom attachments. My daughter had to push it around without the wheels touching the floor. We are also having difficulty putting the top down. I didn't think this toy would be this disappointing. It is now sitting in the corner of my living room and my daughter pretends Barbie and her friends are having car trouble at a rest area :(

This limo has it all. I got this limo over six months ago for my birthday(August 13). It's still in excellent condition. It serves as excellent storage, great display...wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. I'll start with the packaging, since that seems the biggest problem.

So I had just turned 12. I ripped the cardboard off(so easy), then I discovered there were thes black plastic stands holding the limo up. There were four of them, I believe. Well since they were screwed into the limo, with my smart little 12-year-old brain, I figured I needed to UNSCREW them. Imagine that! And it only took me 30 seconds to figure that out, and 30 more seconds to find a screwdriver that would fit, and a final 30 seconds to unscrew them. That only a minute and a half. I didn't have ANY help. I knew how to do everything. It was about 10 minutes before I had everything all set up. I would think that grown-ups would be able to do it quicker. But I think I heard someone say it took 'hours'? HOURS! Maybe these people need to buy more stuff for their kids so they can practice getting things out of boxes. For pity's sake! I'm not trying to be rude, but if it was easy for me to do it, and I was twelve, it should be easy for 30 year old mothers and fathers to do it. If you couldn't get it out of the box, then you may keep reading to find out what you were missing out on.

The expanded version consists of lowering the hot tub, opening the doors, and pulling up the roof. This limo is huge. The My Scene dolls may stand up and still have extra room in it. The couches may fit one doll each, two dolls each if you cram them in. The hot tub may fit two dolls comfortably. I'm sorry to say that it does not come with swimsuits, but that is easily fixed. The roof may hold five (I think), but may start falling down if too much pressure is applied. To oped the roof, you reach under the roof. There is a handle on your left side. You have to grip both ends of the handle(not just one) and then the roof may be pulled up(while holding the handle). It does make a lot of noise though, and it took me about 5 minutes to figure that out. But once yu get the hang of it, it's easy. The disco ball doen't shine light, it reflects it. First, you have to turn out the lights. You may shine a flashlight into the disco ball. You have to get it at a certain angle, but once you do, it looks pretty awesome. I rarely use the lights. They are cool, but they aren't that bright, and run out of battery very quickly. Anyway, the hot tub doesn't have any problems. It easily comes out and goes back in. It doesn't pop out uncontrollably. And it can be disconnected very easily, then reconnected. The accessories are cool, but don't have much use. Sometimes, I do use them for decoration, for pretend make-overs, or for making my dolls snack on food. They store pretty easily, and don't get in the way. But the doors have to be closed on before the other, and if you are moving the limo, they don't always stay shut. This is annoying, but it's simple to get over,

Overall, this limo has some minor defaults, but that doesn't destract from the major features; size, durability, etc. I do recommend this toy to anyone who doesn't complain so much, and looks at products as a whole.

My 5 year old has been wanting this for a while & I luckily caught it on sale here at Amazon.
I don't have a degree in anything except maybe BS'ing, but I quickly figured out that to un-attach something attached with screws one must utilize the usefulness of a screwdriver. Pretty simple concept actually, lefty loosey-righty tighty.
She loves it so if she's happy, we're happy. Money well spent.

That's it. I think it would be really fun to get this because you can play with it with your Littlest Pet Shop, Calico Critters, Polly Pockets or My Little Pony. I might not get the horse and carriage though--I'm getting Snow Day Lila and her horse-drawn carriage will probably fit these dolls (I might be wrong, the BMK carriage is bigger than the Polly Pocket one).
Oh well.

I've been watching for a good price for this beautiful doll ever since she came out, and Amazon had it. The costume and doll are really beautiful. This series presents historical periods in a wonderful, experiencial way. Each doll has been a treasure, especially the Danish,Portugese and Dutch dolls.

This doll is absolutely breathtaking. I bought her for my "gift closet", but I think I'll keep her for myself!
The price was only $5.29 during the special Toys R Us sale, plus free shipping. Couldn't ask for a better deal or a prettier collectible doll.

This is a beautiful doll but don't order it. I can't get anyone on the website to correct the postage. The weight has a typo. It says 7 pounds instead of 7 ounces. That makes the shipping about 5.00 higher than it should be.

This is a great Blaine doll to have in your Barbie collection. He's much better than the Cali Guy Blaines. Only bad thing about him is the straight arm body. But I fixed that prob by swapping his body with a bent arm Ken. Now he's more posable. Add this doll to collection today!

I like this doll to use for play and display he looks like what a male should look like 'a man' there's no pink lip color or sissy look to him this doll is a really nice doll for your dolls to have as masculine figure and he's only around 5.00 gett'em while he's still available.

This is one of the most beautiful and interesting doll i have ever seen. When the first time i saw that doll in Toys R Us, i was like hey, thats one heck of a doll and i mean it rules. The outfit is so detailed and the her face is completely different from the other barbie dolls. Her hair is so soft and really shiny gold. Its price is very cheap in Malaysia (RM 59.00) which costs like 20 dollars. Its price its totally reasonable and im talking about it includes a guitar, a pencil, three songs and more stuff for the doll. After buying the doll i also decided to buy the movie dvd. After watching the DVD, i kinda think the animation sucks. Like c'mon, cant Mattel Entertainment be more realistic. Lets just hope the upcoming Barbie Movies will be produced my a better motion picture animation studio like Disney for example. Overall, ill give the idea of the whole Barbie Diaries movie thing a 6 out of 10......

This is one of the prettiest barbies i have ever seen! Honestly, she looks way better in real life then she does in the pictures. I think one of the outstanding things about her is the quality of her clothes. They are realy amazing and detailed. She has a very pretty face as well. I can't realy attest to the durability of the doll, as I'm a 15 year old collector and haven't taken her out of the box.

Overall, I think she is a great buy, is pretty and hip without being indecent, and well worth the money!

This toy is very nice amd super durable w/o the the guitar.I like taking her to alot of places with me, especially since I live in NYC and loooooooooooooooove to shop. I bought her times square and shes real pretty. Also she`s a MUCH BETTER INFLUENCE THAN BRATZ ROCK ANGELS. Bratz is just a bad influence that will cause your daughter to be a stupid emo who wears belly shirts and mini skirts. In my opinion that`s not cool. THE TWO MIDGE DOLLS THAT I OWN ARE PART OF A SET CALLED "HAPPY FAMILY". I ALSO OWN THE FATHER AND HUSBAND DOLL, ALAN, AND THEIR LITTLE BOY, RYAN. THEY ARE ALL VERY CUTE. THIS HOWEVER DOES NOT LOOK QUITE LIKE THE MIDEGE DOLLS I HAVE AND I ALSO SEE NO WEDDING RING ON HER FINGER (AS MY MIDGE DOLLS HAVE.) IS THIS A DIFFERENT MIDEG? IS SHE UNMARRIED? I FIND THIS DISTURBING. I LOVE MY MIDGE DOLLS BUT A BIG PART OF THAT WAS THAT SHE WAS MARRIED AND YOU COULD ALSO PURCHASE HER HUSBAND AND SON DOLLS SEPERATELY. I always knew I wanted a second baby, so this doll was always in the back of my mind. As soon as I told my daughter she was going to be a big sister, I ordered this doll for her. She loves playing with it!

The package says age 5+ but I don't see any reason why a 3 year old can't play with it. My daughter has trouble dressing the doll but does not have trouble removing and replacing the magnetic tummy. She likes to play with the tiny baby and pretend to change it's diaper.

I don't think this doll is going to make dd run out and want to become a mommy, especially once the baby is born and she sees how much it cries. Besides, I tell her you have to be married to be a mommy (she's three, and doesn't know any better). The doll has a wedding ring, so why wouldn't she believe me?

I'm getting her the Barbie Baby Doctor and the Nursery to go along with this for her birthday. Too bad they don't make the dad and older brother any more, I guess I could find them on Ebay if I wanted to.
