Not that greatMy daughter has had this toy for 3 months - she's 11 months old. She has no interest in it other than to carry it around and chew on the antenna. I'm disappointed with the graphics and the music/noises - it's very montone.
okay toyI wish this phone was a little more realistic looking as my one year old daughter favors an old cell phone to this phone.
PleasedThis phone is actually fun. Since the design is more like the modern wireless phones my 16 month old likes to put it on his ear and pretend that he is talking over the phone just like momy. He sometimes puts the phone on my ear so I can play too. Unlike the other phones that have a wire and look like the older phones we used to have this one is best and it teaches numbers, letters and tune songs but note that for 1 button you get 3 letters at once and the tune songs are cut so eventhough the song is longer they cut the song half way...I dont know why but thats that. Overall its okay and my baby likes it.

doesn't last more than a few weeksmy daughter loved the flutterbye dreams soother, but it doesn't last long at all. I have returned the item to the store 4 times and got a new one each time and none of them worked. The first one the sound stopped working, I put in new batterys didn't help. The second one the ceiling lights stoped working changed the batterys didn't help. Third one the birds stopped moving changed the batterys didn't help. Fourth one the inside lights where the birds are stopped, of course I changed the batterys each time with new batterys and I tried the batterys on other toys to see if the batterys or ok and the batterys was ok. Ive been through 4 of flutterbye dreams soothers and I just gave up and got a different brand, I got Vtech soother and haven't had any problems with it.
Great Product, Bad packagingMy little loves the show on the ceiling , but when it arrived the amazon box looked to be opened and tape shut at least twice same as product box, makes me think that when buying a NEW product that you could be getting used or returned merchandise, was not done buy carrier delivering ....
Fantastic Newborn GiftMy husband and I call the Flutterbye Soother, "The Birds" because we can tell if our son is awake - not because he's crying, but because we can hear him turn "the birds" on.
During those sleepless nights with a newborn, the projector gave off enough light that we could see what we were doing without turning on a lamp (that's the LAST thing you want at 4 AM). The music would play long enough that we could change, feed and rock the baby then get him back into bed without any break in the tempo. (Sounds crazy, but sometimes silence can be loud.) There are several music and nature sound selections, and they're very nice - even my husband and I enjoy them. I should also mention, that you can change the settings incase you don't want the projector on, or if you don't want the baby to be able to turn 'the birds' on him/herself.
As my son got a little older, he figured out how to turn "the birds" on himself. (There's a GIANT button on the front of the soother, shaped like a bird, that you tap and it turns on. VERY easy to find.) At night, instead of screaming for us because he hasn't fallen asleep right away, my son will turn "the birds" on and watch the projection until he falls asleep ON HIS OWN. He does the same thing in the morning - which gives us a little more time to get ready before we get him out of the crib.
I received the Aquarium Soother and the Flutterbye Dreams Soother as shower gifts. I tried them both and quicly chose the Flutterbye soother because the music on the Aquarium soother seemed almost creepy. It sounded like it was underwater, which fits the theme, but it scared me. Besides the bubbles, it really didn't do as much as the flutterbye soother.
As I said, my son is 1 now, and I've packed away a lot of his baby toys but 'the birds' will out for a long time.

Spend the extra $ and get a better playmatWe recieved this playmat at our shower along with the Baby Einstein playmat. My son LOVES the Baby Einstein mat but is pretty bored by this one. On the Baby Einstein mat, he kicks his feel and waves his arms while smiling away, but on the Fischer Price mat he just lays there.
The toys are hanging too high for him to hit to activate the bird's movement, and on the flip side, the bird hangs too low. I tried lowering the toys with some extra lincs and one of them hit him in the head and since they're hard plastic, it made him cry. I have to position him with his feet next to the base of one of the bars so he can kick the bar to activate the bird. The bird just doesn't interest him at all, it moves pretty jerky and doesn't have anything flashy to attract and keep his attention.
The mat does have lots of cute things for tummy time play, the one advantage of this mat over the Baby Einstein mat. But I'd still say that if you have an active little baby who's hard to entertain, this playmat isn't for you.

Worth every pennyThis play mat is wonderful and has so many different items that keep my daughter entertained. We purchased when she was 2 weeks old when the doctor suggested we start on tummy time. We will lay her on her stomach and shake the dragon fly rattle, which detaches, and she will move towards us. Other times we will play with the butterfly on the mat, whose wings make a crackling sound. There is another dragon fly on the mat that squeeks. At about 5 weeks we finally installed batteries (it takes 4 "C"). The bird doesn't really capture her attention yet, but is just the cutest thing that I have ever seen. There are a few more toys and a mirror that she also is too young to understand yet but that's good because it means that this play mat will last us for some time. Like I said in the title, worth every penny!!
Love itI bought it for my daughter when she was about 4 months old. If I would of known she was going to love it i would have got it sooner. She had so much fun and kept her very entertained. She outgrew pretty soon. I recomned you buy when baby is 2 months.

laugh and learn puppyMy daughter loves the laugh and learn puppy, the only problem is the bone that lights up doesn't work any more.
Laugh & Learn Learning PuppyThis is the cutest educational toy in the world!!
It teaches numbers, colors, letters, etc.
It also sings!
This toy also entertains me!
Where was this toy when I was little?!

EXCELLENT toyI purchased this doll for my 11 month old daughter less than a week ago and she can't get enough of it! She loves to see the dog bone light up, she gets a kick out of the songs and expressions, but most important of all, SHE CAN ACTUALLY MAKE IT WORK. I have lots of other toy dolls that play music and light up for my daughter, but this is the only toy that she can make work by herself. The sensors are sensitive enough to allow her to be able to squeeze the body parts and make the doll work on her own. I love this product-- we carry it everywhere we go now because she won't put it down!

Fun toy with limitations...Our 11 month old has been playing with this toy since he was 6 months old. He really likes the lights, sounds and music. However, I was disappointed that the stacker is shaped like a cylinder so you can put the stars on in any order you choose. So it does not teach children that the big star goes on the bottom and get smaller as you go up. Also, the star that goes on top is cute, but it almost never gets used in conjuction with the stacker. It didn't take long for our baby to figure out that you just have to press the button on the top to get the music to play.
One of Tyler's favorite toys!!We bought this toy for our baby's first Christmas, and he is over 2 now, and still loves it. He likes to take the stars off, and play the music. We call it his music stick, which he carries allllll over the house spinning to the music until he falls. The lights just make it even better to him. A great toy, not too expensive toy.
Great Toy!This toy is great. It plays music, it has fun lights, bright colors and is educational. Also, the base is fantastic because it never falls over. My son loves to play with the stacking pieces on thier own, he bangs them together and is just learning to put them on the holder by himself. The only issue we had was the lights and sound buttons on the side stopped working for a few days until my husband realized one was stuck. Other then that - Five Stars!

Save your moneyMy daughter got this with the play wall and it fell on her as soon as she could pull up. Mattel was very helpful when I notified them, they asked me to return the item to them and sent me a full refund. I will continue to buy fisher price (who is owned by Mattel) because of the excellent customer service.
Good ItemGood Item for the $. But, if you have a little guy or gal who isn't interested in crawling, like I do, just make sure to watch so they don't pull the tunnel on top of them.
Awesome toy and service A+++++++++++++Excellent customer service. Prompt shipping. No hassel. Highly recommend! Will buy again from Amazon.com

This is a great toyMy 1 year old son has never been one to play with toys. He'd rather play with the tv controller or the cordless phone. But a couple weeks ago we bought him this and he LOVES it. He's played with it more than he has ever played with any toy. He loves to put the blocks in and dump them out. He also likes to stick his head in the empty bucket and make noise! I've taught him to put the blocks through the shape sorter. This is great toy.
My Nephew Favorite Toy My Nephew received this block sorter.
Very few toys can claim to pass the tests of being interesting and educational throughout such a long span in the baby-into-toddler period.
The block sorter itself is a tub about the size of a half-gallon milk jug. The sorter lid sits atop the tub; it fits securely but doesn't lock down with any tabs or snaps that would frustrate a child. On the flip side, this means that turning it over dumps the blocks everywhere, although that's a primary means of enjoyment for our two-year-old now!
The set comes with about a dozen blocks in assorted colors (red, blue and green) and shapes (circle, square, triangle and star). All of the pieces are solidly constructed for lots of use. The blocks are sized appropriately to be easily grasped by baby hands without being so small as to present a choking hazard.
The baby/infant/toddler toy market is flooded with battery-operated, hyperactive button-pressing sound machines disguised as "learning" toys. It's great to find one such as this that takes a comparatively simple concept and pays big dividends in fun and learning. Its low price and quality construction make Baby's First Blocks an excellent value as well.
I Normally Say "put the block in the tub" or "put the car in here" and he does and he loves his blocks cause he can chew and thorw them at the floor and "dump" them all out and make me clean them up!
Over all its a great toy for any age infant/toddler!

Wonderful toy!We purchased this toy for our son when he was about 6 months old and he has played with it ever since. He loves to dump the blocks out of the bucket and put them back in again. He also likes banging them together. This is one of his favorite toys...and one of ours too because there is no annoying music!

not an attention getter for my daugther.my daughters grandmother purchased this as a christmas gift, and since then my daughter has only played with this house a number of times, I thought she would play with it more but she doesn't, this is a very cute house and there is nothing wrong with it or to complain about, I like the real sounds it makes it just doesn't seem to hold her attention and she is now 3.
Great first dollhouseMy one year old daughter got this toy for her first birthday and she loves it. Even her three year old sister plays with her and they share and play together.
The perfect first doll house! We got the Sweet Sounds Home along with the Playground for our daughter when she was about 18 months. This was a good age as she was just starting to do some "pretend play". She is nearly two now and still plays with it every day. The people are the perfect size for her little hands and are extremely durable. Every room has fun and familiar sounds -- telephone ringing, computer typing, washing machine, toilet flush and kids playing. I have found this to be a great toy to foster our daughter's imagination because it is very relatable to her little world. She loves the baby most of all and especially loves hearing her say "Mama Mama". She loves putting the baby and the Mommy and Daddy to bed every night before she goes to bed. She also likes to hear the toilet flush and to put the baby in the bath tub. Fisher-Price has built a lot of small details into this toy that we always seem to be discovering new things -- a kite on the side of the house, a dog on the porch, orange juice in the refrigerator, etc. This is a great toy for a toddler because it is unbreakable, easy to clean and with a little girl's imagination, offers limitless play options.

not so goodThe power wheels kawasaki kfx ninja I bought for my sons 3rd birthday in september 2005 is in the shop and its 3 months old.
When I got the bike it worked great but about a month later it stopped running, and now its in the shop for almost two weeks and they say they are fixing the gas paddle and some other things, not to happy with this toy that my son has only played with 3 times.

He loves it!!! This has been one of our best purchases so far for our son. We started with a smaller 4-wheeler and when he turned 2 we moved up. He loves it and has caught on so fast.
I do see a problem with the forward and reverse buttons, but we have just told him not to press them, and that seems to work fine. Now that he is almost 3 he has figured out how they work and only presses them when he is stopped.
We haven't had any problems with the battery, in fact we didn't charge it all winter and it was still ready to go this spring. Now that he has figured out how to use the turbo, he goes full steam all the time and it still outlasts him. Then we just bring it in and charge it overnight till he is ready to go in the morning.
Overall I would highly recommend this. It is a fun, safe and durable toy

My grandaughter loves to rock, roll and rideThe rock, roll, and ride xl trike is perfect for a young child. My grandaughter who just turned 1 will sit and rock on it for hours before her mom takes her for a spin around the park. It is solid and has many different ways to move.
Mixed feelingsWe bought this toy for my son for his 2nd birthday. He LOVED it.
From a parents view, the bad things about this trike are: first - the handle is very low. I am only 5ft tall and it is uncomfortably low even for me. After a few times around the block my back was aching. Second - I wish you could lock the front tire so the kids can't steer it while you are trying to push. I was constantly fighting him over to the side of the road (hence my back ache!!)The only way to turn this while pushing with the handle is to tip it back and then shift it over. Third - as with all plastic ride on toys, it's very loud on the pavement.
Overall, I think it's a good toy for the money.
In the drive way or on the sidewalk it was great for my son. He started at first by pushing himself around with his feet and by the end of the summer he was able to peddle it himself. It also would have been nice if the handle was removable. We ended up getting him a 12 in bike this year because once he figured out how to peddle he didn't want us to push him.

Still going strong after 4 years! My granddaughter received this when she was one year old. She is now 5 1/2 and STILL rides this bike even though she has a Disney Princess 2 wheeler and can ride a bike without training wheels. This is an old favorite and she always comes back to it. When she has friends over they take turns riding this trike. You will definately get your moneys worth with this bike!
