DefectedI bought my 1 and 4 year olds both a chair, and they loved them. The fact that they loved the chairs made it even harder when they both started to deflate within 3 days. The concept of the chairs are cute and would make a great seat and toy if they were better made. The material is very durable looking, but I guess the seams aren't together well enough. The chair will not stay inflated, and the more you try to put air in it once it starts to deflate the worse it gets. After this happened I got on and looked at other peoples reviews, and most of the reviews said that there chairs deflated also. Don't waist your money.
cuteIt is very cute. My son loved it. I wish it came with a patch kit though. After 2 days I needed one. If your child isnt too rough with it, you shouldnt have a problem.
My Son Loves ThisI bought this for my son at Christmas time and he loves it. I read the reviews that said that their chair deflated and I am suprised. My son is 2 and is very rough with it and it has been very durable. Even my husband will sit in the seat and I keep telling him he is going to break it but the chair still looks brand new!

Not what I expectedI BOUGHT IT TODAY FOR MY 3 MONTH OLD AND, I'M NOT HAPPY WITH IT. IT'S TOO BULKY AND HEAVY. SCARED IT MIGHT FALL ON MY LIL GIRL IF NOT TIED TIGHTLY ON THE CRIB, I PREFER THE ORIGINAL KICK AND PLAY PIANO. IT'S THINNER AND LIGHTER THEN THE PEEK A BOO. THE PEEK A BOO PIANO KEYS SEEM HARDER TO MAKE SOUNDS. MY DAUGHTER REALLY NEEDS TO KICK IT IN ORDER FOR IT TO MAKE MUSIC. THE ORIGINAL ONE WORKED WAY BETTER!! MY OLDEST CHILD USED TO KICK IT SOFTLEY AND IT STILL MADE SOUNDS. MOST LIKELY WILL RETURN TOMORROW.
Not good for many cribsMy baby does enjoy this toy. He likes to kick it and hear the music, and I like that it has 3 modes - it will just play music for 10 minutes, the baby can kick it to play songs, or it can be set to play like a keyboard when kicked. The only problem (one I see with many crib toys right now) is that it doesn't fit my crib. It has 3 ties that are meant to be attached to the spindles of a crib. The problem is most cribs now (such as mine) have solid ends, and you can't tie anything to them. This toy is meant to be used at the end of a crib, and it simply won't fit. If you have a crib that has slats or spindles on the ends then you will be fine. I don't, so the only way for me to use this toy is to hold it while my baby kicks at it.Fun for him, but not for me.
2 Months Old and loves it!We got this as a shower gift. My daughter is two months old and already loves it! I put it on it's continous play mode and she will just sit there watching it and dancing her feet in the air! I am able to get my morning showers in because of this... now you know it's worth it just for that! haha..

We love Baby Pooh!My 21 month old daughter received Baby Pooh for Christmas and plays with him EVERY day. She loves diapering pooh when her baby brother gets a diaper change, and bathes with him nightly. He comes with a duckie and bottle of his own. The high chair back does not stay attached to the chair, but Pooh still sits upright and has enjoyed many meals with my daughter. Pooh is made from hard plastic and, sadly, his arm broke off when dropped by my husband this weekend. My daugher is handling the trauma OK, but we are getting her an new Pooh for her birthday because she loves him so much. I recommend it.
Need to get another...My 4 year old daughter gave this to my 2 year old son for Christmas. They both really love to play house with dolls this size and love that it can go in the tub. My daughter plays with her brother's doll every chance she gets and now she is asking for her own for her 5th birthday. We had the difficulty with the back of the chair, but it hasn't been much of an issue for us. The doll itself is what they prize the most.
my kids love this toyI have 2-1/2 year old twins and they just received these for Xmas at my request. My mother, who bought them, was skeptical, but they have been the most played with toys from Xmas so far. My son and daughter are in the taking clothes off stage and love to undress Pooh. They have taken their Winnie the Poohs into the bath and have so much fun giving them a bath. I did have a problem with one of the high chair backs. It kept falling off, but I kept bending the plastic back until it fit better. Now we don't have the problem. I do recommend this Winnie the Pooh.

TOO MUCH FUN!!!!My son started collecting IMAGINEXT back when he was 3 or 4. At first, I would build the castles and make up stories for him to watch (and help create!). Now he's 7, and this toy has done so much to develop his spatial skills and problem-solving. He has literally EVERY Imaginext toy (except the newly-revised ones for the younger audience with disproportionate hands and feet -- a la Rescue Heroes) that has come out in the last 4 years. We have loads of fun building new castles and creating new worlds... Hot lava, weird new worlds, crazy creatures... My only problem with this toy is that the only female looks more like a gender-confused wizard (decidedly masculine). Nonetheless, Imaginext remains one of our favorite toys and will for some time to come. I wish they would do Imaginext Vikings or OCEAN!!! Yeah.... THAT's the ticket! Deep Sea World!!!
A great addition or start to an Imaginext collectionImaginext toys are a logical progression from the Fisher Price Little People. Imaginext is a step up from Fisher Price in that you assemble the toys, and you have some flexibility in how you assemble them (not so much with the pirate ship, you can move the sails & masts around). From Imaginext, you can go to classic lego or Playmobile.
All of these toys allow the children to create their own imaginary world, and there are usually several items within each theme that you can purchase.
My three year old son received this ship for Christmas, and he plays with it the most of allhis toys, and when he sets it down his 6 and 8 year old siblings will pick it up. It has been used as a pirate ship and a ship of exploration, skull and crossbones not withstanding.
We have also found the toy to be quite durable. In assembly, you do need to push the ship sections into place to lock them together. The red rails have fallen off a couple of times, but those are easy enough for my 3 year old to push back in.

let the fun beginI purchased this for my 5 year old son for Christmas..I was'nt sure that he would like it, just for the fact that he really isn't into pirates. We just put it together & he loves it..If you follow the directions & take your time putting it together...IT WILL NOT FALL APART! In fact it is quite sturdy.. It has some great features & sound effects..We also have the Dino mountatin & phantom Island, all of them are very cool ....The Ship definitly gets played with the most..Even all the older neighbor boys age 8 love these imaginext toys..they spent about 3 hours straight jumping from one to the next...A great toy if you put it together the correct way...Not one peice broke off during 3 hours of play (from 4 boys ages 2 thru 8)...definitly the best $23.00 I have ever spend. (I got it on sale)

Sad to see - not easy for a toddler to useI had previously purchased the standard blue Doodle Pro for my 3 year old, and he loved it - a great toy. So when my 1 1/2 year old twins started showing an interest in drawing, I purchased one of these Little People boards for each of them. Much to my disappointment, the tip on the end of the pen was so short that its impossible to draw unless the pen is straight up and down. The soccer ball slide eraser is so tight that they can hardly move it. The only good thing is the magnets are nice and big and easy to use. I have to say that all in all, this is taking the product downhill - stick with the standard Doodle Pro, you'll be much happier.
very cute toyMy daughter recvd this for x-mas from her grandpa and she is to keep this toy at his house for her to play with when she comes to visit. We were over there this past fathers day and she was playing with it i agree the soccer ball eraser does not erase all the way and to me was irratating, to her she didn't seem to mind. I don't think my daughter had any problems w/ the pen b/c if she did i would definately know! When we were leaving she was not done drawing and wanted to take it w/us which we would not let her and she kind of had a fit. oh well life goes on!:) over all i think this is a durable toy and definately a good thing to maybe bring out in the car when you run errands or on a long road trip where they can draw and amuse themselves.
Pluses and MinusesHere are the PLUSES:
1. It is portable
2. It features the Little People
3. The Pen comes attached
Now for the minuses:
1. You can't fully erase the marks on the board with just one or two swipes of the eraser soccer ball
2. The three magnetic shapes WILL GET LOST ALMOST IMMEDIATELY
3. The size of it is just too bulky for easy portability. Smaller versions are better for small hands.

my son loves itmy son got this as a gift at about 6 month old and it took him a while to figure it out and now that he has figured it out he loves it, lol he is so proud of himself when he puts the balls in the bugs mouth. Also he sticks anything in the balls mouth lol his stacking rings anything that will fit goes into that bug, and it still hasnt broken and its six months later. I say def worth the buy!
My Nephew LOVES this Toy my Nephew got this toy when he was (6 1/2 months old) as a PRE-christmas Gift and he loves it along with his other toys at first he had to fingure it out....but once it made the sound "teehee..." he Laughed! and played with it for hours at a time along with his baby blocks!! i love this toy because it easy to play with and clean when he gets shaken and pukes!! but over all its a great toy!!
Educational toyMy daughter is 11 months old and loves this toy. She does not play with it for long periods of time but I don't expect her to. She is just under one years old and doesn't have a great attention span yet, but she quickly learned how to put the balls in the mouth to hear the music and watch it roll. This toy is great for motor skills development and problem solving at this age. It is also a good idea for crawlers or walkers as they have to chase the balls down and bring it back to the toy.
The only problem with this toy, it doesn't stay standing very well on carpet.

Very DisappointedWe received this as a gift for our daughter. She is now 9 months old and within 2 weeks of playing with it (again, she is 9 months old) elmo's head broke. The table no longer operates as all electrical is centered in Elmo's head.
A toy that we were very excited about turned out to be a dud.

very cutemy child loved this toy. my only problem with it, was that it tipped over easy. so i just set the back up against the wall or something and kept an eye on my child.
Son loves even after batteries dieThis is one of my son's favorite toys. He has no idea who Elmo is but he still loves it. He started playing with it before he could walk...he loved to crawl over to it and stand up and dance as he pushed the buttons. Now he is two and the batteries have been dead for months--but he still likes it. He uses the pretend phone and hides things in the little cookie spot.
This toy has been on its head more than once and I was pleasantly surprised that Elmo's head didn't break.

Not all it's cracked up to be...My daughter loved Elmo before she ever saw Sesame Street. So I figured this would be the perfect toy for her. But honestly, it's driving me NUTS.
First the positives - I have Windows XP, and had no problems loading it. The program is extremely easy to use, and is personalized to include 3 favorite foods, favorite colors, people, birthday, etc. You can change the items daily if you want, so it always has something interesting to it. Unfortunately, you can only program 3 songs/ stories in at a time. When you get tired of them, you have to reprogram it.
And I warn you, if you have a toddler, make sure the food you put as a favorite is something on hand. There's nothing worse than hearing "It's lunchtime, Alena. Elmo hopes its grilled cheese and apple juice". Only to hear a little voice running through the house yelling "apple juice, mommy?"
It automatically goes off at your preset times, for wake-up, 3 meals, nap, and bedtime. I would prefer if it had some kind of feature that once it said bedtime (or an hour later), the toy shut itself off for the night. If you accidentally touch it/ step on it, he starts singing. And if you're sneaking into a child's room to put her blanket on, you're in trouble. After it does it's initial song/ story, it asks if you want to keep playing, followed by a "we can play later, Alena". Very annoying.
My "alphabet adventure" has so far only included the letters H and P. Maybe if she played with it more often, we would hear a different letter story. But for now, it gets old fast. Honestly, she can't be bothered with the toy at all. The only time she seems to notice it is when it goes off at mealtime, causing her to mimic whatever the food of the day is. Other than that, it lays in corner and annoys us. Odd, since she won't put down 4 other Elmo dolls. This toy was really a waste of money.

I had no problemsI just bought Elmo Knows Your Name for my niece for her birthday. I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews. I have windows XP and I had no problems installing the program. It was great to program the names of me, my other niece and grandma since we live far away from her and rarely see her, so at least everytime she plays with it she'll remember us. Elmo worked really well. I could see him getting annoying quick, but its ok because my brother will have to deal with it!
Plug'n'Tickle This ElmoA lot of the negative reviews about this product has truth in them, although I don't think the blame necessarily goes to Fisher-Price. I blame Microsoft for all connection issues (Failed to verify error somewhere at 97% of download). Why? Because the software actually works with Microsoft Windows ME (not much else works with Win-ME, you know), but not Windows XP SP2. FP could have tested the product on several OS and report any problems found in their website. But I'm not going to take away any stars for that, because the concept of hooking up a cuddly personality like Elmo to a computer and personalize it for your daughter is priceless.
There may still be timing issues as other reviewers noted, but for $40 that's excusable, too.
