i will buy this for every new baby i know!i bought this toy for my daughter when she was 5 weeks old. by the next day, she had learned to turn the music on by herself (you spin the center wheel pretty hard), and would do so whenever she woke up in the night. by the end of the week she was sleeping through the night, and i think this toy had a lot to do with it, as it helps her put herself back to sleep without needing me to come soothe her. there are 3 sound functions: talking, music and constant music. we put the talking on for play time and the music at night. at 10 weeks old, she is starting to get big enough to reach the other toys with her feet if i lay her the short way in her crib, but for now her main interest is the wheel that plays music. this is seriously the best money we've spent on baby things.

Vroom Vroom! These cars are so much fun! Just as the name says, you just shake it up and it goes. My son has several of these and they all have slightly different reactions. Some are faster than others.
They work best on a hard surface - Cement, hardwood floors, tile. They go pretty slow on carpet.
The cars are very durable. One of my son's favorite games is to launch them off the deck and see if he can get it to land on the grass below. If the weather isn't nice, he likes to send them racing down the stairs. So far, nothing has broken and its been over six months.
These cars are easy for my daughter (who is only two) to play with too. The kids love shaking with the cars and racing to see who's car goes the farthest.

great toy for 2 boys (2 & 4 yrs.old)My two boys love this car. They received it for Christmas last year, along with the Shake 'n Go Race track. I'm buying them the other cars that they did not receive last year this year for Christmas. Great toy it keeps my 2 boys occupied for hrs.
Great fun!My 3 year old son and his 5 year old sister both love this car! They aim it at their cardboard blocks and have a demolition derby.
Highly recommend it.

Works Great for Dads too!My son (and Husband) have been collecting the Geo Track Series over the past year and we have 2 huge rubbermaid totes full of trains and track. Not only does it keep my 3 year old and his friends busy but my Husband has a lot of fun trying to see how big and complex he can make the track. The elevatoin packs are their favorites because they like to see how high it can go before they need to use the guard rails. We've gotten it to 3 ramps high (we need more track) and the trains still handle smoothly.
Wheee! We have two of these sets to go with our larger geotrax collection, and have made elements up to 4 units high. At first I assumed they'd be most fun with the elevated structures like the clock or the mountain, but actually these are a lot of fun all by themselves. Other than the ramps, the green elevated track can be used either elevated or in place of regular track on flat ground. These kits thoughtfully include some half-length straight pieces which give you many more options - for example, now you can use both arms of the 90-degree cross pieces that come with some of the other sets. And I'm impressed with the design - even when we make a 4-ramp roller-coastereque descent, the train still stays on the track if you use the guardrails on the curves.
Self correcting track and durable (and thoughtful design)This is our first purchase of GeoTrax products. We bought it for our 2 yr old son. He has learned to use the IR remote quickly. The oval track can be used with or without the elevation. This is product is track only. We also bought an the scenic engine and cars (an additional pkg). Trains can work on "toddler power" i.e. being hand pushed or via the battery operated remote for both on and off the track. We LOVE the self correcting track which puts the engine AND cars back aligned and on track. This is especially helpful for our toddler's determination to do things all by himself. There also seems to be a battery saver timer that engages after a several minutes of lack of interaction or inactivity. We will be buying more GeoTrax products.

Cute, but too smallI got this for my 2 & 1/2 year old daughter so we could start a Sweet Streets collection. She loves the little dolls, but can barely put them inside this store because it doesn't open wide enough. I plan to buy the Victorian home or the hospital for Christmas because at least they open wide enough for dolls to fit inside. I would not recommend this piece, however.
Kids LOVE The Lights and SoundsWent looking for a dollhouse for my children 2 1/2 and 1 1/2. Founds Sweet Streets and fell in love. Placed kids in stroller in front of displays for Sweet Streets and Twins House. They only had eyes for the lights and sounds of Sweet Streets.
Thoughts:
1. Kids were used to entire "Little People Village", but were getting bored after over two years with that. 2. Purchasing one stand alone house might be boring after Little People Village. Sweet Streets to me is an upgraded village. 3. Kids won't be fighting over one house. They can set up their new Sweet Streets towns and play together, yet each have a house/store... whatever. 4. Often heard of other playhouses being discontinued and not being able to find furniture for them. If one piece to Sweet Streets were to be discontinued, no big deal - they each stand alone. 5. Portable, closes and has a handle - great to go from room to room or to Grandma's house. 6. Lights and sounds simply fascinates them. It's just like real life. *** BEST part of all - there is something for everyone. Only thing I would change would be to add one house that had lots of furniture and was bigger. So far we have this and the Victorian House and that is also pretty small and does not come with much accessories. One piece with lots of furniture, etc. would make it totally perfect. Overall though - HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great ToyAlthough, some of the parts of this particular toy are too small for my 2 yr. old daughter to play, she loves it; she likes to turn the light off and let the lamps of the store "guide" her way, and she recognizes the sounds of the crickets thanks to the general store:):):)

My son loves this airplaneMy son got this plane when he was 19 months old. For several months now, he has been very much into cars, trains and airplanes. I got an email from Fisher Price showing this and other new toys. I let my son watch the demo for the airplane and he was hooked.
The airplane comes with a pilot, two passengers and a piece of luggage. Two of the three passenger seats as well as the pilot's seat move up and down as the plane is pushed along the ground. The plane has a side door which opens and the top is cut out for easy access to the passenger seating. When the pilot is pressed down, the plane makes noises, says a welcome to your flight message or plays a cute song. Red lights at the base of the wings flash in conjuction with the sounds.
This airplane is rather big compared to many Little People toys. It is about 12 inches long, 8 inches high and 8 inches wide. It's a little bit on the heavy side too, but a handle across the top makes it easy for my son to lift it for pretend flights through the air.

Great toy for the priceI got these blocks for my 9 1/2 mo. old baby when he was around seven months old. He likes the blocks that make a soft rattling noise as well as the ones he can put his fingers through. His favorite thing has been the lime green base! He likes to chew on it and wave it around. He does not play with the blocks for very long but he picks them up every now and then. I thought that the clear plastic would get easily scratched but he has played with them on hardwood floor as well as carpeting and they still look brand new. Even though at 9 1/2 mos. he has not played with them much I don't mind because they cost around $8 for the set and they're attractive and well made. I'm hoping when he gets a little older he'll want to use them for building.
