cute but not worth buyingmy daughter recieved this toy for christmas and loved it until bedtime, when you take it off demo mode it seems like blue will never stop singing and talking, turning it off is an option but my daughter gets agrivated when she presses the moon and nothing happens. after the first night she hasn't wanted to sleep with it, she will play with it durring the day but only on demo mode so she can just press the moon when she wants to hear blue talk or sing and not go on and on and on.
Better than the GloWormI have always loved the GloWorms and wanted one for my daughter. Well we got one and it was not as great as I hoped. For my daughter's 1st birthday my cousin bought her this Blue's Clues bedtime doll. It is sooo cute and cuddly. It was the 1st thing she actually hugged. I love that it plays a few songs. We lay her down at night with it and press the button and she is mesmerized by it for a good while and then she goes to sleep once the songs are over. And they are fun and upbeat songs. Not annoying music that sounds like it is dying. You can actually listen to this over and over. I even enjoy it.I go in while she is asleep and find her hugging it. And after naps, she looks at it and points and wants to cuddle with it for a few more mins longer. Excellent toy , warm and cuddly.
Very pleasedI bought this item for my daughter about 3 months ago. She was 19 months old. And she loves it! Won't go to bed without it. I even think it made her transition into a toddler bed a bit smoother. It's not too loud and it has a nice soft light. It plays songs for a few minutes too, not like some other toys she has that only go for a few seconds. She plays the songs over & over. I know that when the music stops she's asleep.

Sweet setsNot much more you could ask for in a toy!
Durable toys, colorful, lots of fun imaginive play and it all folds up for easier storage and holds the pieces itself!!
even comes with a handle. SO many accessories pieces for the different stores!
The only thing they could do to improve it is to add some sort of Latch so it wont fall open while carrying it.

WOW! Fisher Price has out-done themselves!Went searching for the perfect play house type toy for our 3 yr old daughter...thought I was going to get Dora's Talking house but came across the Fisher Price Sweet Streets...and you simply can't compare the 2. True, Dora's house may help teach Spanish but all it has is a house, figurines, and a couch...the other accessories are expensive & not easy to find. This entire collection of Sweet Streets however is unbelievable! It's bright, good quality that's typical of FP toys, and the hours of play and imagination will be endless. I'm sure I can't explain it well enough to do it justice...there's an entire 'community' (village, city, and country)...all sold separately and very reasonably priced. Check out the entire collection of Sweet Streets--it looks so fun I can't wait for xmas to play with it, too! Some of the pieces have lights and sounds: dinner & a movie; the country store; and the carousel -- all well done, very realistic. I can't imagine that she will get bored playing with this because there is such a huge variety and plenty of pieces/components to add to it over time.

Awkward to play withI was excited when I first bought this toy for my little one, because I had one when I was a child. I'll say one thing about it, it's cute and it looks like the old one, and it's durable. Most Fisher Price toys can withstand alot of abuse. But it's not as playable as the old one.
First of all, the original was made of wood of course, and this one is plastic, but no problem with that, just thought I would mention that to anyone who thought it was exactly like the old one.
The reason it's awkward for children to play with is because the reciever cord is very very short. The child will practically have to hold the whole phone up to his ear.
Whoever said that their child had the coiled cord wrapped around their neck was either lying trying for a lawsuit, or they had an actual older version. There is no way the coiled cord is going to wrap around anyone's neck unless it was a Barbie doll's neck. I'm assuming they shortened it for safety reasons. Okay, I understand that, but they left the pull cord long on it. A child could strangle themselves with the pull cord just as well as they could the reciever cord if it was long enough. So why shorten one for safety reasons but leave the other long? That is just stupid. My 1 year old won't play with this, because he won't pick up the whole phone to put the reciever to his ear. He gets frustrated with it. So really the only purpose it served was to bring back a childhood memory for me. I will probably wind up cutting the stupid 3 inch cord off of the darn thing so my baby can hold the reciever the right way.
So I only recommend this for someone who likes replicas of their childhood toys, or for someone who just likes cute toys to display on a shelf in their child's room. But I don't recommend it as a toy to play with.

A bit of a let down...Like most one year olds, our daughter is obsessed with the phone! I took me ages to find a simple toy phone for her. I didn't want the cell phone type because they all make such irritating noises! So I thought the Chitter Chatter phone would be perfect. But like other folks have said, the receiver cord is SO short! The phone dangles down awkwardly in front of her when she hold it. Additionally, and this is no fault of Fisher Price, Maeve is used to cordless style phones. She's never seen a rotary phone so she wasn't as excited as I was! Oh, and P.S., to the lady who's child was strangling themselves with the phone in the crib, DON'T LEAVE YOUR CHILD IN THE CRIB WITH TOYS. That's so freakin' dangerous!
Old Style PhoneI didn't think I would find an old style rotary phone. I was happy to see that Fisher Price still made it! I wish it was wooden like the one I got my oldest child 30+ years ago. That phone lasted through both of my boys. I hope this plastic phone holds up as well. I bought this chatter phone for my grand children to play with when they come to Grama's house. I want them to see a real telephone and learn how to dial up numbers. I noticed the only other difference was that the receiver cord is shorter than I remember and you have to hold the phone when you talk into the mouth piece. This is a must have "old style" learning toy...thank you Fisher Price!!!!

Don't waste your money! These binoculars do not work well at all. My son was extremely frustrated with the binoculars after only a few minutes and tossed them aside. Even after repeated adjustments of the viewing lens they are basically worthless - except for the viewfinder - it works fine.
ConsernMy son is 4. We had to cut off the straps because he had twised them around his neck and we were worried it could be a choking hazard.

Fisher Price Loving Family Twin Time Dollhouse with Exclusive Bonus Accessories

We love this dollhouse!I had been searching for a dollhouse for my daughter for several months and this is the one that she ended up choosing. She made a good choice; the dollhouse is sturdy and very reasonably priced. My daughter loves this dollhouse and plays with it for hours at a time. I just wish that the rooms were a bit larger because some of the furniture pieces are bulky and once the rooms are furnished, they are a bit cluttered.
I Love it and so does my daughterThis house is great! Adorable and beautiful. It even looks good in my daughter's room.
I think it was difficult to get the furniture during and after the holidays but now they are easy to get.
My sister bought the house for my 2 1/2 year old daughter, Peyton. She also bought all the furniture for her except for the nursery because she has the two cradles and the highchair and there's no more room in the room, and the family room, because they have the living room already.
The two chairs that came with the house are for the breakfast bar that also came with the house. They aren't dining chairs.
I think they just gave a little furniture because they obviously want you to spend the money to purchase more.
Yes the rooms are small. I wish they were bigger too, but I don't think my daughter notices so much. She just likes playing with it. Although I will admit she uses my coffee table as the kitchen and my ottoman as the parents' room.
The furniture is adorable! Lots of cute fabric and accessories! I have a 9 month old so I put all the small pieces away. I don't think my 2 year old would appreciate them that much anyway.
There are some accessories that are tied to the furniture with strings. Good idea for someone her age and since I have another baby I'm glad. I will cut those off for her when she is older and so is the baby, if she cares enough by then.
We have the kitchen, bathroom, parents' room, girl's room, dining room, living room and laundry room.
I haven't taken out the dining room and laundry room yet because the kids room is where the dining room should be. There is another room downstairs for the laundry room but I think that set seems a little old for my daughter. She doesn't know what a laundry room is because ours is in our basement.
This house can't really hold all the furniture available unless you use the "terraces".
I also bought the blonde mommy (as a babysitter, aunt or older sister) because I wanted the little girl and it came as a set.
The only other set I really want is the SUV.
I have to admit that I am living vicariously through my daughter because I would have loved this dollhouse when I was a little girl. I think that's why my sister bought it for her too!
It's a beautiful house and I think well worth the money, especially since it wasn't my money! lol.
It's probably not for anyone older than ten years old. I can see how it would be frustrating for them.

How do you change out the battery without a trianglular screwdriver? My baby loves this toy, however, afer a couple of weeks she can't play it anymore, because we don't have a triangular screwdriver to change the batteries on the octopus that makes music when the baby hits or touches it. This toy was fantastic, and my baby loves it so much up until it DIED!!! I think that fisher-price/mattel should include a tool to change the battery, otherwise, I would render this toy completely useless.
not so greatI registered for this one instead of one of the others becuase it was the cheapest. My daughter was able to play under it for only about 6 weeks when she started to roll and would get caught up in the sides. It's not very roomy and the three toys get old fast (I was even trying to hang linkadoos from it). It would be worth the extra $25 to get a larger mat with interchangable toys and you would get a lot more use out of it!
Great Floormat!!I was skeptical about this one.. as I have learned that the cheaper the toy is.. the less my baby likes it. Though he absolutely adores this floor mat. I got it for him when he was 2 months old. He is only 4 months old now but can't get enough of it. The little octopus does make sound when it spins.. but he can't reach it yet. Though its hilarious to watch him try! He gets so frustrated and beats up the other toys, but then smiles in the end when I go spin it for him.
I give this 5 stars because the floormat itself is. I would give it 4 stars but that is based on my baby and all babies are different. The only problems we have with it, which would make it 4 stars would be the fact that aside from the octopus there are no other sounds, and there are no lights. My baby loves sounds and lights. So if you have one of those, expect yours not to want to play as long on the mat in the beginning stages. Ours plays for about 20-30 minutes, then he wants to be moved to his swing so he can look in the mirror and hear the music. But you can get really good tummy time on this and it keeps them entertained and laying out straight (instead of scrunched up in a swing so often) so you can get a few things done around the house.
Oh and we have noticed that our baby will play on it longer, if we go over and play with him every once in awhile. Helping him reach the toys, making the octopus spin, etc. Then we get another 20 minutes to do whatever. So all in all... its a great product...
Just be warned that the little mirror on one of the fish.. isn't a mirror. Its one of those flashy material looking things and the baby can't see his reflection in it.. cause I cant even see mine in it.
If the toys are hanging to low for your baby, you can flip them over the top bar once and they will hang higher, or move the baby on the mat a bit.
