Not made to with stand a 3 year old
My son got this for his birthday. It was such a piece of junk that we ended up taking it back to the store for a return. The side peices would not stay on and even I could not get the cars to go long enough to finish the race. The sounds were annoying and the toy was just not what i expected it to be at all.

Fun Toy for the Younger Crowd!
I bought both this and the Half-Pipe Speedway for my son's 4th bday. He really enjoys this toy. He likes racing with his dad and sister. It does get old shaking in the middle of the race but its still a good toy...i mean if you read the description of the toy, it tells you that you are going to have to shake the cars as the mid-race "pit stop" so no one should really be surprised....

I think in our case, it would have been more enjoyable had we bought it when he was a bit younger. He still likes it tho and a month later, he still plays with it, but he seems to like the halfpipe highway better.

Fun and durable
The road sections are easy for little kids to put together. Not as complicated as other playsets in that manner. The cars, once shaken, last about two and a half laps around the track. The starting block is really cute, as they can set the cars up and then push the button to release them at the same time. The overhead start banner makes lots of noise in addition to lights. The kids love that and often carry that piece around just for the sounds. It has been beaten and abused since Christmas and is still going as strong as the day it came out of the box.

I'm a little tea pot, short and stout....
Although this tea set plays the tea pot song over and over again, I hardly ever hear it. As a parent, this is a wonderful invention! The kids can push the button over and over again and enjoy the music, but the sound doesn't travel very far.

The set is made out of very durable heavy plastic. It has survived the traumas of being thrown around and chewed on by our puppy. It looks just as good as it did coming right out of the box.

The different pieces are all so very cute and completely match. They are soft colors that will match any room decor so it looks like they belong.

Tea Parties Galore
Santa gave this tea set to my daughter - then 18months - for Christmas 2005 and we haven't stopped having tea parties yet! She just loves getting dressed up in hat, necklace and pocketbook and playing the hostess. "Sugar?" ..."Want more?". What fun! I highly recommend this set for any little girl...or boy for that matter (her 4yr old brother gets in the spirit of things now and then too). Kudos to FisherPrice on a great toy!

Great first tea set
My 20 month old daughter just loves this tea set. She has so much fun hosting tea parties for her baby dolls and mama. The tea set is durable and very cute. It's also easy for little hands to handle and use. This is a tea set that every little girl should have!

    Creepy Eeyore
Peek n Play Eeyore??? Try Creepy Eeyore! Do the toy manufacturers ever listen to their toys before selling them? This toy was a gift to my 16-month-old daughter, and he sounds more like a "dirty old man" than Eeyore. He asks questions like, "Hi little baby. Want to play a game?" in a low creepy voice. I'm sure it was meant to be cute and interactive, but all the adults in the room were rolling on the floor laughing at the toy, while wondering if my daughter should actually play with it. It's humorous, but I don't think I'd recommend it.

    ears don't work anymore
I bought this toy for my baby, it was his first birthday. My son played with the toy, he loved the toy. I loved this toy, until the ears stopped working. We only had the toy for 3 weeks when they stopped moving. The toy still has the music/voice working. But it isn't the same with out the ears moving. He doesn't like it anymore. I don't have the packaging anymore to send it back. I wished it still worked.

    Love those moving ears!!!
I saw this online, then I was at Wal_mart a few days ago and found one for $7(the packaging was damaged). My 8mo old daughter LOVES this toy. She is mesmerized by the moving ears. When it stops moving she usually laughs loud enough to start it back up again. The rattle that comes with it works well too. We love this toy.

Great for pulling up and cause and effect learning
I bought this table when my daughter was 7 months. She learned to pull up early and I wanted something to encourage her. The activities on the table are simple ones, and she is able to activate them easily. I'm not sure if its on purpose or she just bangs around a lot and makes it happen accidentally, but either way she loves it. Her daycare has the LeapFrog table, and she has little interest in it. BUT, this one she is on constantly. The spoon rattle is a big hit, it comes off the table, as well as the lift-flip "peek a boo" pea thing. The music is not annoying, (except for the fact that I can't get the alphabet song out of my head)! The music cuts off if the child activates another part of the table, nice for learning cause and effect, and legs come off too, which is nice if you want to put it in the car to take to grandma's for the afternoon.

A minor issue when first getting this - but not a design flaw - when beginning to pull up and not strong yet, she start to topple over, so she'd grab the table to steady herself and it's light so it came down with her. She was never hurt, just scared, but just watch your kids to see if they do this too. Now that she's stronger it doesnt happen at all.

I think this is a great toy for any baby who is learning to pull up.

Great Fun Toy! Little short though!
I bought this toy for my twin daughters first birthday and they love it. I thought it would be a little taller though and I wouldn't buy it for a 18-24 month baby, but that doesn't take away from the fun toys it has. This all in all this is a great toy.

    laugh and learn learning table
My son loves this toy. He started playing with it when he was about 5 months old. He is 8 months now and still plays with it every day! The Laugh and Learn Learning Table is great - I highly recommend it!!!

    Piece of junk
I bought this for my 22 month old son for easter. When I opened it the only thing it did was light up...I put fresh batteries in and same thing, just lights no sound whatsoever! I was hoping to see his face light up in the morning, now we have to take it back.

My Son Does Not Like It At All :-(
I thought this would be a great toy for my 17 month old when we were in the store he cried to have it when we got home he cried when I sat down with him to play with it I was upset when I found out it only says A-L it could have at least said the whole ABC's and to me that is a heavy toy to carry around and the age on it is 6-36 months the hammer is heavy my son hit his hand and was in tears to me it should have been around $7.99 and maybe even cheaper I am very upset I spent $19.99 for it I wasted my money.

    If I had a hammer....
We got this toy for our son for Christmas. We thought it was cute, and my husband liked the idea of our son "hammering"... very macho, you know. Well. Our son does in fact like the hammer. It goes everywhere with him. And he hammers EVERYTHING with it; coffee table, walls, floor, couch, my knee... Which hurts, in case you're wondering. The only thing he does not hammer is..... the Toolbench!

Not that the Toolbench is bad. He likes to push the shapes and watch them light up and the little men pop up, and he enjoys listening to the music. The tape measure is cute; he likes the songs and likes to watch it spin. But overall, it's not a big attention grabber. He will play with it for a few minutes if he just happens to sit down near it, but it's not a favorite and he never plays with it for more than a minute or two. There are a lot of toys out there that hold his attention for 10 to 15 minutes or more.

In my opinion, if you want to buy a toolbench, get one of the old-fashioned ones with the pegs that you hammer down, then flip over and hammer again. Sometimes the old classics really are better than the new-fangled "improved" versions.

    Not a great toy
I bought this toy at Toys R Us because it was on clearance for $7 (normally $15). I like the Peek-a-Blocks, and this one being so cheap, seemed like a good deal.

Good points: it comes with four blocks (although by far not the most entertaining of the Peek-a-Blocks sets) and the music is soft and plays a very pleasant tune; it stores nicely, all 4 blocks fit inside and the unit is compact.

Bad points: it is not very entertaining; my 6-month-old barely looks at it compared to her other toys

This is an okay toy for $7. For $15, there are much better toys out there.

    Pass on this toy
My daughter got this for her birthday. She doesn't even play with the fish. She likes the blocks, though, so we've put them in her other block toy and she plays with them.

The blocks are too big for the fish and they don't come out easily. It's just not a fun toy.

    grandaughter
It was just what she wanted. It is very nice and is described very well. She is 10 months old and enjoys it very much.

      Broke to easily
My daughter liked playing with this toy, but not that long (before a year was up), the toys sound was all messed up (even with new batteries in it)and then it just broke. Don't waste your money on this product. There are plenty of durable toys out there and this is not one of them.

      Love it!
I have a 7 month old and he really enjoys playing with this toy. It's great for babies just mastering sitting as everything they need to enjoy themselves is within reach! The sound effects are easy on parent's ears, too:) This purchase was well worth it!

      FUN!! FUN!! FUN!!
Both my handicapped 8 year old son and my 15 month old absolutely love this toy!! It Taught my 15 month old to sort and now he uses his block box for sorting instead of throwing!! Even the older kids I take care of enjoy playing with this toy. The music is warm and the nature sounds are very clear. The only problem I have had is the tips of the sorting blocks break when stepped on...*LOL* other than that this is a wonderful addition to our toy collection!!

        GOOD TOY
My daughter loves elmo, she was excited to see her new elmo toy for her 2nd borthday, she loves when it plays music she dances around, BUT when you turn the pages it will play a follow the light game instead of just playing music, she found that a bit frustrating.

        ABSOLUTELY LOVED
My daughter recieved this gift for her first Christmas from her grandmother and went nuts. This had to have been the most played toy of the million that she has. Thank you Elmo!

        Helps coordination
We (my husband and I) brought this toy for our 2 year old last Christmas because then she was an Elmo fanatic. She still plays with this toy even though her intrests have shifted to Dora! At first I wasn't quite sure what this thing did except make noise but as I watched her play with it, I realized it taught her to follow directios.
It's a mode where elmo asks you to follow the light and the keys light up one by one as you press them and I was truly amazed at my baby actually following the directions.
This toy also teaches numbers. Overall, this toy is great for toddlers and tends to stay a favorite unlike those toys that end up at the bottom of the toybox

Design flaw...kept going off the track
My 2 year old LOVED this toy but I returned it because it kept going off track in the same spot. The train would not complete the full circle 8 as described and was intended to do. I was tired of my son yelling "it broke" every time he tried to use it. Sad because he really enjoyed it the 3/4th's of the track that it did stayed on.

        FAST TRAIN ON TRACK

        CIAO'

Come on everybody body, ride the train....
We purchased this item for my son for Christmas '05. He was 12 months old at the time. We set it up in the living room under the tree, along with several other presents, and it was the first thing that our son went for in the morning. (I have to mention that my husband played with it for the better part of an hour the night before.)

The conductor is the perfect size to be used as a Binky. The poor little conductor stayed in our son's mouth for the rest of Christmas morning, and a lot of the time since then. He plays with the train every day, but usually just with the engine. He brings it into the kitchen or living room, and it runs quite well on most floor surfaces; carpet, linoleum, tile. It bogs down a little on the bathroom rug, but I don't see that as being a problem.

I think that this toy has great staying power. Right now, my son (at 13 months) does not really play with the set as intended; i.e. running the train around the track, but he gets a lot of enjoyment out of it and I believe it will hold his attention for the next few years. We have a few other Fisher-Price Little People sets (like the Ramps Around Garage) and are planning on adding more over the next year, and it's nice that all the pieces are compatible and you can basically build a little city.

There are a lot of cute details of the train set that you may not see by looking at the box. In the "farm" area, the windmill on the barn turns. At the train depot, the clock hands turn. And my favorite is the "country" area. There is a swing in the tree that the Little People fit in, and it actually swings. Very cute. There is also a taxi station, but it doesn't have any moving parts; it's just a platform with a pay phone and a curb area. You also get three Little People (the conductor and two passengers), some luggage, a box of fruit, and a potted plant. All of these fit in the train cars or sit as scenery in the different areas, but do not attach anywhere... great for imaginative play.

Over all, we are very pleased with the train set. It was worth the money, and I think it has a long "life expectancy", play-wise. And, like most other Fisher-Price toys, it's very well constructed and can take the abuse that a typical baby dishes out.

        Nice idea! But not practical!
My daughter loves the van but can rarely use it all alone! The doors pop off the babies fall out of their seats the stroller gets stuck on the roof rack (an elastic band) and the seat belts are just annoying! I can't even buckle them all up! Needless to say she still wants to play with it!

        SUV Review
Pretty good toy. Hard to get the people in and out of the SUV.
Fun for children though, loves the noises it makes and the ease with which it rolls around for her.

        Loving Family SUV
excellent car for the Loving Family house. my [...] plays with it all the time in conjunction with the house. the horn and the radio is a very cute feature and she especially likes putting the seatbelts on the dolls. although, at times you do need a very steady hand to put the seatbelt in which can be very frustrating to the child doing it. all in all, a very good product.
