There are 3 new tool tech figures that have pull string motorized action: Billly, Jake Justice, and Jack Hammer. These new tools have replaced the heavy, chunky, battery operated PowerMax tools, but perform the same actions, and have cut down a few dollars on cost. The only downside is that the plastic on the axe chopping tool is very thin, and durability becomes a question. However, we've had it for a while and it keeps on working and hasn't broke yet. I just don't think it can hold up to as much abuse as the old PowerMax tools.

I bought this trike from Toys R Us this past weekend for my just turned 4 year old daughter.
Assembly was easy and the sounds it offers on the dashboard area were very cute and loud enough to hear as your little one pedals about.
Only draw back is that the adjustable seat is awfully close to the frame. My daughter kept hitting her knees on the handlebars. And when I adjust thye seat to a lower position, she has a hard time pedaling, and she is pretty tall. Another drawback is that the wheels are make of plastic, and when she begins to pedal, the wheel "slips" on the cemenet and doesnt get well traction and which can be a bit upseting for kids.
So I actually returned the trike and got one with ribber wheels. Now my faughter is very pleased with the new exchange!!

My family adore peek a blocks. The nesting blocks are the latest in a long line of incredible toys, so our expectations were quite high. While these toys are constructed well, they are not, in my opinion, peek a blocks because they are not closed blocks. The charm of the peek blocks is that you get to peek inside sealed blocks. These are not sealed blocks. Good, but not on par with other peek block sets

For many babies 9 months old and older (as Fisher-Price recommends on the box), this 'Learning Car' is downright dangerous and can spell disaster. Our 10 month old daughter has been standing and 'cruising' now for months, yet when she grabs onto the handle of this product, it moves from underneath her way too quickly (or just flips over!), and she falls hard to the ground! Even flat on her face at times! If your baby has control over this aspect, the product should be fine. BUT, if not, as is the case with many babies at the incipient stages of walking, this product can hurt your infant. The wheels should have some resistance built into them, so that the product does not roll out quickly from underneath the infant. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

My son is 11 months old, and has been using this toy for about 3 months now. He will push it around and "walk" with it while he's on his knees or feet.

It wasn't the best when he started to use it to help pull himself up (it would roll out from under him) but we were there and would brace it either with us, or with a pillow so it wasn't a "problem". We were about a month under the recommended age at the time.

He LOVES to sit and ride on it too- something I figured he would grow into. He will climb on to "drive" and then off when he's done.

As with all the Laugh & Learn FP toys, the music and learning aspects are EXCELLENT! I love the volume options. We have several of the L&L toys and it's great that they are all the same type of music (although all vary in options) and same voice for the learning.

This toy has been a must take when we visit the grandparents... the older cousins love playing with it too. We've had to change the batteries only 1x, and it's been used a lot every day--almost constantly on weekends when we are home all the time.

My only wish is that the wheels would turn--maybe have a locking straight option then be able to release it when he's really riding on it. Right now, I don't think it'll be much fun as a rider since you can't change the wheel direction.

One thing- watch the weight limit for older kids. A cousin who is definately in the weight range looked like he was making the seat sag in the riding position. He's 4 and rough on toys, but still in the weight range. It's just not meant for his age.

AWESOME FOR BABIES/TODDLERS! One of my sons favorites, and I TOTALLY recommend this item!

We bought this for our Grandaughter & she LOVES it. It is true it rolls fast, but she has been walking since 9mos. This is her favorite toy & she is 12 mos now. She sings to the songs & loves the horn. Loves the ABC's & rides or pulls this toy into every room she is in. Parents should be careful & supervise all children at any age with toys with wheel's. When she stays for the weekend with us, this toy is a must bring along.

This toy was purchased last Christmas for my 6 mos. old baby. This product has 2 major faults, in addition to its annoying chatter it falls all of the time making it a hassel. Needless to say, it currently sits unused in the toy box... the money would have been better served being placed in a savings account for a future date.

My daughter got this toy when she was six months old and she loved to watch the monkey. The problem was it broke after two weeks of gentle use. I'm not sure she would have liked it once she was more mobile anyway.

At first, my nine-month-old didn't seem too enthused about this toy at all. But now, a few weeks later, it is by far his favorite toy. It is brightly colored, has fun music, and brings a smile to my son's face every time he sees it or hears it.

Some parents have complained that this is not a toy that you can just turn on and leave with your child. This is true. Most toys, and most children, need an adult to play and learn. If you're looking for toys to simply switch on and walk away, you may want to adjust your parenting priorities a little. I always play Monkey Chase with my son, and he loves the interaction between the three of us. Children thrive on human interaction. Simply put, this toy is for a new independent crawler.

Other complaints that I've seen build into this: it is extremely easy to knock over. That's the point. It is not supposed to be frustrating to a child; additionally, if it were sturdier, it could be dangerous by giving way suddenly.

I would like to say that parents that have rugs or carpets exclusively in their home should skip this toy. It still "runs," but very slowly and for an extremely short distance.

I really only have two complaints about this toy: 1) the paint is easy to scuff. My son has already knocked some paint off of the back of the monkey in just a few weeks. 2) the monkey needs to run further. Most of the time, the monkey goes for less than two feet and then turns around. By the time the monkey has started his turn, my son has shot across the room and knocked him over. Perhaps F-P should get the monkey running greater distances so that kids could "chase" more.

My son wanted this piece and we have enough of the other pieces to incorpate it into the track system we have started and my son loves it and plays with it so I have to say it has exceeded my expectation for the value it added to our GEO Trax railroad.

Our 2 and 4 year old boys love this tower. It chimes when trains pass under it (there's a light sensor that points down onto the track). My 2 year old especially loves that he can rotate the picture wheel and it plays songs. This has held up remarkably well since we got it at Christmas. Many little hands have pushed the top button and turned the picture wheel. It has also been dropped and knocked over about a million times (boys!). Our windmill broke within a few minutes of rough boy play and the crane didn't hold their interest. It's the chime clock tower and the saw mill that are constantly played with.

This is a great toy. My daughter got this toy for her 1st birthday and now she's 4 and still plays with it. When all of the other toys get thrown out this one seems to stick around. My daughter loved this so much that I bought the pirate ship for my son. The only thing that I don't like is the arc will come apart. It will snap right back together, but only one side is suppose to open and instead it will come apart completely. That can be a little frustrating to a child, but not a huge deal.

My daughter (2yrs)loves this toy. It works well with all of the little people things. I have bought more pairs of animals in the stores. Nice toy!

We just gave this to our daughter yesterday as one of her first birthday gifts. She had already had similar toy animals that never left her sight, so we thought this would be a good idea. Boy, were we right. She has actually had it for going on 24 hours and will not put any of it down, even to eat.It was the first thing she looked for this morning when she woke up too. She loves the animals. She likes to put them in and out of the ark and bang them together. Of course, they are also good for chewing. We'll see if the novelty wears off, but considering how much she played with the set of barnyard animals, and based on other reviews, I think this will become a long-term favorite toy in her collection.

This toy is made well. The only problem we have had with it is that I showed my little girl that the bun comes off, and you really have to twist it just right to get it off. Unfortuneatly she can't get it off by herself so it frustrates her.

This toy was given to my daughter last week. I thought she would enjoy it. Now I just noticed that the Paint on the hamburger is peeling off. I am a little turned off by that. all in all it is cute, but not too safe for young children.

Maybe the other reviewer got a hamburger that wasn't painted correctly, because our hamburger has not peeled at all! And the hamburger is the best piece in this group! You can make the hamburger to be a double or a triple patty hamburger for when your really hungry!All you do is pull down / or up on the buns to make it bigger or a smaller cheese burger! It was also designed so you could take the top bun off and see the ketcup & cheese! This play set also comes with a small pile of french fries with ketcup, a nice sturdy ear of corn that has a bite mark in it. When my daughter puts it in her mouth, it shape / plastic doens't move. We have another piece of corn from another set and it's not nearly as good as this set. Also included is a apple and a bottle of ketcup. The top does not come off the ketchup bottle, it's all one nice sturdy plastic piece!

Definately one of the best play food sets out there if not the best. Price wise it's affordable and there are 3 other sets. One is a picnic set which I have to get, there is a peanut butter & jelly set, and a pizza set. We've had some really neat play time and it's so neat to see through her eyes me in the kitchen! We munch down on her meals with great munching sounds! What is also nice is that through play she is learning to be able to make a meal! You can't do wrong with this set! I hope they make more!!!!

HI!! i would reallly like 2 get this & will be writing a review when i do.I have the ocean wonders swing, but i have a hunch this is almost more fun& i will like it better. GET THE LITTLE MOMMY DOLLS!! They r so sweet, & im gettin' 1 off Ebay soon. I bet they would fit& go great w/theese toys. Also, if u wanna be creative, u could use the bassenet "setting" or the changing thingy 1 as a bunk bed type thing. (your welcome!)

This makes a cute and durable crib for my daughter's baby dolls. Working mobile is a nice touch, plus the crib rocks. Great!

i got this play yard a few days ago and its awesome! im 12 years old and i put it together myself because it was so easy. the fish are adorable and the mobile is so cute. alot of people said some of the parts fell off but the parts on mine don't. i don't know why oh well. this is great so buy it!
