Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics: Bounce and Giggle Kitty

Waste of moneyWe received this gift from Grandma and Grandpa and I feel bad, but it was a waste. My child was never interested in it because all it does is meow and vibrate. I think there are many other toys out there that are more fun and a better value.
cute but hard to holdGranted I gave this to my baby before the recommended 6 month mark, but because of the size and shape of it and the fact that it is hard plastic it will be hard for any kid to hold. When I give it to him he tries to grab it and will eventually hit the button to set off the vibration and meows, and he will giggle at that. I think it freaks out my cat a little more than it does the baby! :)
A little loud, but fun for all!We actually have had this toy since our older daughter was about 6 months. She had fun with it for a few months. Now that my youngest daughter is old enough, we have pulled this toy out yet again. Now it seems to entertain both of them! The baby likes it and can hold it in her lap and press the button herself, which is great! The vibrations against her stomache and legs make her giggle! She loves the cat meow and the music. She likes to pick it up and chew on the soft ears. My older one will now take off with it when my baby isn't looking! So this is definitely a great toy for different ages. And we have never had to replace the batteries in it. I have read a few reviews here about a short battery life, but we have not ever had to and this is the second baby it has made it to. Maybe we just got lucky!
The only thing I don't really like about this toy is the weight of it. It is pretty heavy for a baby toy and I am afraid she will be holding it and drop it on herself. But so far it hasn't happened (knock on wood!). So all in all, I would recommend this toy, especially if you have two younger children to entertain!

Pooh knows my nameI purchased both the Pooh and Dora dolls for my daughter. Both dolls had her name, but Dora was the only one that had options for pronounciation. Her name is Avery, pronounced "Av-ree" Pooh will only say "A-ver-ee" Also when he says her name, his voice drops in tone and sounds very out of place. I have also had trouble with the dolls losing time. When I bought the dolls, I was under the impression that they were able to do many games, songs, and stories all at once. (the box says over 100). In auctuality, the doll only does three activities at once and so you have to choose from the song, story, and game lists. Currently I have been choosing one activity from each list which means that I have to get on my computer every week or so and change the settings so my daughter can have a different thing to listen to. The box should say that they do over 100 games, stories, games, and phrases, just not all at once. My daughter enjoys the dolls, but to me they are very aggrevating. My last thought is that if you purchase the doll, be sure to set the daily schedule a little ahead of your child. I had her breakfast schedule set at 8am, but on mornings when she was sleeping in a little, Pooh and Dora woke her up announcing breakfast. I now have it set at 9am even though she's already up and running by then.
Loosing timeWe got this for our son for Christmas and love it. Lucky enough it did have his name and his sisters name to program. However, the daily schedule looses about 30 seconds everyday, and before you know it, it's telling him it's time to eat dinner at 4:30 rather than the 5:00 I had it set for. So I have to re-sync it with the computer every few days. Also, Pooh has yet to mention my son's birthday or do the 'countdown', and that was a feature we were really excited about. All in all, it's a fun toy, and we're glad we got it for our son to play with.
Pooh needs some TLCWe are on our second Pooh. The first one had all of the download problems listed in previous reviews. We tried on 2 desktop computers and a laptop multiple times, using different cables and replacing the batteries before throwing in the towel and exchanging for a different Pooh. A couple of things that we did differently was connecting the USB cable before selecting the personalized information and making sure the connection is really tight. (During the first download of our first Pooh, the USB connection was not pushed in completely and my computer geek husband said that may have damaged the flash memory).
So, the second Pooh is working very well. My 18 month old daughter LOVES it and is throwing it around with + It is also quite amusing for the adults (an added bonus for toys with sound). Occasionally when Pooh says her name it sounds a little rough, but for the most part the name just flows, like he is really talking just to her. I was disappointed in the food selection - she goes crazy for peas - but alas that is not a food choice.
*note - one of the reviews mentioned that there is no "off" button - that is not true, it is on the voice box on the side where you plug in the USB cable*

Fisher-Price Snap 'n Style - Bedtime
Amazon base price: $
Average review score:

Another cute accessory set for the Snap n' Style lineMy daughter has this set for her Ericka doll and it's definitely a hit. The slippers go on easy and stay on, the headband stays on nice and tight, and the outfit is adorable. The teddy bear is a cute addition to the set, but doesn't always stay on the doll's hands.
I'd definitely recommend this as an addition set to the Snap n' Style line. My daughter enjoys getting her doll ready for bed at bedtime and I think it's one of the top sets in this line.

Fisher Price Ocean Wonders 3 in 1 High Chair for Baby Dolls
Made by Tolly Tots

Terribly Disappointed! My daughter received this highchair/swing as a gift for her second birthday! It was a absolute piece of JUNK! I would have to say that it was definetely not worth the money. As far as looks it was very realistic but every time my daughter barely touched it, it fell apart. The tray wouldn't stay on for anything. It was quite heavy and if it were to fall on your child's toe it would really hurt. Every time she took her baby out of the high chair the fabric seat would come off with the baby. The snaps that were supposed to keep the seat from swinging when it was converted to a high chair were useless. Most of the time we had a swinging high chair with no tray or seat, pretty much just metal bars. I wouldn't recommend this toy to anyone! The Little Mommy high chair is sturdier, but is exceptionally small! We are still in search for the right high chair.
HORRIBLE! Only giving 1 star because there isn't a lower rating!I got this for my daughter's 2nd birthday. It took about 15 minutes to snap together, although the directions are completely obtuse and worthless. I couldn't get one leg to stay attached unless I pushed it in so far that the #1 setting for the toy was useless. Then I couldn't get the leg OUT to correct it. The seat is fabric that stretches over a metal frame--with no support in the middle, so if your child places any pressure on it at ALL, the fabric comes off the frame. The 'tray' attachment is a total mystery--I am a fairly sturdy, strong woman, and I could NOT get that tray attached--had to have my husband do it, yet with feather pressure from any of us including the 2 year old, the tray pops off.
Absolutely dreadful waste of time, returning it today--luckily I could fit all the pieces back in the box as I couldn't disassemble the toy completely!

Don't Be Fooled by the Fisher-Price Label! The Ocean Wonders doll accessories aren't actually made by Fisher-Price. They are made by Tolly Tots and sold under the Fisher-Price label. I purchased the stroller and the high chair, expecting quality Fisher-Price toys. They come in several small pieces that take time and effort to assemble, and are of poor quality. Don't be fooled by the Fisher-Price label like I was! You would be wise to spend a little more money on a better quality toy!
