New power tool figures; old figure molds. This new Jake Justice actually looks like a repaint of an older Jake Justice. No new sculpt, I guess to cut costs, and they've also taken away the battery operated PowerMax tools and made some cool new pull string action tools. This one features a battering ram, similar to Jake's PowerMax figure, but it's much lighter and uses much thinner plastic (which puts long term durability in question). The figure we got also has a very loose waist, so just moving the figure about spins his body around without you wanting it to. I wonder if the end of the prolific Rescue Heroes toy line is near, as they are just using old molds, cheaper tools and packaging, with no new added characters.

Rescue Heroes: Robotz Team C.D. Moon and Lift-Off

Fun Early Action FiguresMy 2 1/2 year old really loved this set as his first real action figures. The figures are electronic and hooked together. Separately they each have sounds and voice but when connected together CD Moon and his Robot Liftoff actually communicate with each other. Kids love it because they can eaisly push the various buttons to hear the sounds. all the figures in th Rescue Heroes line are very durable and stand up well to the kind of abuse a pre-preschooler can dish out. Add to that the nice wide feet of the figures allow younger kids to stand them up quite easily as compared to normal action figures. These are really fun, reliable and wonderful toys for young children. No small parts to worry about being swallowed. Good stuff!

Not only a lot of fun, but durableFisher price really has a hit here.
THese pieces are so durable and designed pretty much perfectly!
My daughter loves the small playsets. I love that Sweet streets are not overpopulated with tiny flimsy items. the baby animals in this set are just so cute!!! the feeder even dispenses "feed" when the lever is pushed! the colors and design are perfect!
And not only do all the pieces fit inside for storage, but they added a handle so the kids can easily take this from place to place!

Also available in a giftsetThis is one of my favorite toys in the Sweet Streets line. You can get this alone or in a giftset with the Pony Pickup set. I did the latter. I also got the Riding Stable and the Dance Studio. This set includes 3 animals-a lamb, a goat, and a llama-and a girl that Fisher-Price has named Lynn (her name is on the little card on the string on top of the box). Here is the list of Village/Country/City toys I own:

Janis from largo, FlI love the Sweet Street line. I read some reviews that say it is small and all the items do not fit in each house. So what. I love that my daughter has to use her imagination. There is so much to do and yet she has to think and make things up. They are small and compact but I like that. They all fit together and can be put away without losing pieces. My 4yr old has barbies and a big barbie house but we spend so much time dressing them she doesnt end up playing a whole lot. With the sweet streets she can imagine them doing whatever. They are a great price too. The only weird thing I found is that some of the old houses from 2000 or so has slightyl smaller people than now but my daughter doesnt seem to notice. Thank you for making such a great toy than can be added to for years and requires thinking. Bravo. You can bet we will be adding to our Sweet Street Town at Christmas!!!

Good idea, bad follow upI bought this a year ago because the features and usability seemed much better than the Leap Frog. Big mistake! Apparently Fisher-Price decided they couldn't compete with Leap Frog and have abandoned this platform. There have been no new books available since I bought it (and there where pitifully few then), and FP has released a slew of other interactive toys. Those of us who bought this are left out in the cold. Thanks Fisher-Price.
Wish I'd Known This Before...I bought this for my 3 year old daughter for Christmas. Her older sister has a LeapPad and I wanted to get my 3 year old the same thing. Then I saw this product and thought it would be better. My daughter hasn't even touched it. (The VideoNow Jr. seems to be a great hit though!)
It wasn't until AFTER purchasing this product that I realized how hard it was to find books for this system. If I'd bought a LeapPad I'd have more options. I wish I'd read the earlier reviews about Fisher-Price giving up on this product and not having any new books for it. I'm probably going to end up getting a LeapPad and getting rid of the Fisher-Price system.

Taylors 3rd BirthdayWe bought this for our daughters 3rd birthday in high expectations that she would enjoy it and that it would hold her attention...Well we were wrong, it comes with 2 pre school books that teach color, shapes, numbers and sounding out which my daughter already knows. She sat with it for about 30 minutes and now it just sits. I can't find any other books for it! I was looking through it myself and found that sometimes the sounds and phrases don't match the page..I think it would be a great starter for children who are just learning colors and shapes but not for any kids that already know them..On my last note it seems to be very durable and is a cute (IDEA) thats about it.
