Great educational toy. I have 2 kids with special needs and this is a great way for them to learn to read. I am having a hard time finding more DVD Books for the system. Found some here. Hope they continue to make them.

This Read with Me DVD helps kids with letter recognition, matching lower and upper case letters together! It also emphasizes rhyming, which is an important pre-reading awareness. My daughters and I found out about Chicka Chicka Boom Boom from Blue's Clues, so when this showed up Christmas morning, they were so excited. My almost four-year-old daughter understood how to use this toy with only minimal instruction from me. She watched the dvd "read" the book to her, and then she chose to play games based on the book she had just read. It is very interactive, educational, mesmerizing and entertaining. She will play with this for 30 min-1 hour, asking me questions every now and then. She likes that she controls what happens, whether it's just reading or playing the games. She asks to play this when she wants to be a "big" kid. She thinks she's playing video games, just like Dad!

My son LOVES the rescue heroes & we have a tremendous collection of their items. This is by far the WORST of our collection - for the life of me, I can't get any of the Action Max characters to fit properly & crank the wheel. It is not nearly as durable as previous RH vehicles. It has found a permanent spot in our basement storage area. Avoid!

I bought this fire truck for my grandson's fifth birthday,I bought the Rescue Heroes for Christmas. It really is not very sturdy, the doors do not stay closed, the ladder doesn't twirl all the time, the Rescue Heroes steering gadget doesn't always work, sometimes yes, sometimes no. However, my grandson is thrilled just to have it and plays with it and all its faults.

I had this sent to my 4 year old grandson.His parents really liked it.He plays with it outside.Seems to be sturdy.

Using the stock battery in your new Powerwheels will ultimately lead to a large disappointment. The battery is a simple Sealed lead acid battery. The same kind as you find in a battery backup unit for your PC.

The stock battery will only last about 10 minutes of continuous level ground use. Start adding small hills and start/stops and it goes down even further.

Plus the charger that comes from Fisher Price is a joke too. There is no over-charge protection available, and if you forget about it while charging, you'll ruin the $60 battery.

Do yourself a favor and buy an aftermarket battery for those Powerwheels. You can buy them at a much higher run-time as well, and this allows you to spend more time with the kids playing, rather than charging batteries.

You can buy a regular car charger for the new battery, and it will not only charge faster (2 hours compared to the stock 18 hour recharge time) but it will last longer since there is no chance of over-charging. You could buy the battery and charger for less than this stock battery with fisher price's logo slapped on it.

The battery stays charged for a very long time. You get tired of watching the kids before the battery goes dead.

I just bought the greenhouse for my 2 year old. She has the house and the family. I thought the greenhouse would be fun becasue I spend a lot of time in the flowergarden. THe greenhouse is fun, it says two things: Welcome to my greenhouse & Let's plant some flowers (English/Spanish) It comes with a hat for Dora, it fits Mom as well.

The flowers flip and show a veg garden as well. She loves it, Like that it connects to the dollhouse. I didn't know that before I bought it. Like having an extra dora in overalls.

This is really cute. It doesn't look like alot but it really adds to the whole looke of the dollhouse. It is made to match the dollhouse and it comes with another Dora in a different outfit than the one with the dollhouse. With alot of kids wanting to play with the dollhouse and all the accessories you can never have too many Doras. It also includes a potting bench which has can be flipped so that Dora is planting either vegetables or flowers, a wheelbarrow and a big sun hat for dora to wear. It also makes the noise of birds chirping when you press the mat in front of the door. We are happy we got this.

I purchased this item for my soon-to-be 3 yr. old grandson, who loves Diego. The online description is not very complete as to exactly what this toy does, however the box states "16 animal rescues" on the front and back of the box. There are four animals on the screen and there are sound effects for each of these; however there is no way to access more than these four. I would say it is deceptive, to say the least. I plan to call FP tomorrow to see what they say. I probably will be returning it though because as cute as it appears, even my almost 3 yr. old would get bored pretty quickly with the repitition of the four animals.

We bought this for our daughter a few months before her 2 year check-up. She loved the Sesame Street characters - especially the Zoe "bracelet" (bandage) but the stethescope does not really work and the 'clicker' that you push to sound like a heartbeat is so loud with the earpieces in it hurt my ears. Also, the otoscope is just a hole through the plastic piece in this set. We took it back and got Fisher Price's regular medical kit. The case is a little different but my daughter can't make all the pieces fit in either one. In the regular kit the stethescope really works and the otoscope has a 'magnifier' in it so my daughter thinks it's really neat to look through. If you absolutely must have Sesame Street it's not all bad, but I prefer the standard kit.

Our daughter, Gabrielle, really loves this toy. She has to go to the doctor very often to get her imunization done, thats frighten her when she entered the doctor room. Fortunately, my father is a doctor too. So we trained her with her medical kit, to doing the same thing just like her grandfather. She could play like doctor and patient with her grandpa and she could play it for hours with it and she won't be afraid to visit her doctor again. And the toy self is very interesting. Full of colour and their design is just like the real doctor's stuffs and also all the Sesame Street characters are very interesting and fun to play with it. It's realy worth it.

What looks like a cute idea turns out to be a big headache. The binoculars are difficult to see through. You constantly struggle with double vision in both the binoculars and viewmaster. And it's hard for younger ones to keep it in one mode without accidentally hitting the switch.

My daughter loves this toy. it's a little hard for 3 year old hands to hold and pull the lever at the same time. You have to pull it until it clicks in order for the reel to turn. I like the binoculars, but you have to adjust the lenses just right in order for her to see out of them.

Bought this for our granddaughter's third birthday. She is into everything Dora, so this had quite a bit of positive emotional equity going for it. She loves it, but probably uses the View Master option more than the binoculars. That said, she has had a great time watching backyard squirrels with the binoculars.It is NOT a toy that you hand to small children and tell them to go play with it. It takes some instruction and supervision; given that, it combines the attraction that View Master has enjoyed for decades along with the wonder of binoculars. Great educational toy.

Lot's of fun, BE AWARE, AMAZON is not selling the WHITE (vanilla). They are shipping BROWN (chocolate) color. I sent the first brown one back and specifically asked for vanilla white. They sent me the BROWN one again. Amazon is color blind or they don't have white.

My favorite thing about Matchin' Middles is how big and sturdy the pieces are, so even the littlest kids can play with it. So many games for preschoolers have small cardboard pieces, which means little brother can easily destroy them or swallow them. With Matchin' Middles, even my one year old can safely play with it - he enjoys opening the container, pulling the pieces out, and putting them back. His older brother learned turn-taking and all his shapes from the great memory game (which can be easily adjusted depending on the child's ability). A-plus.

This toy is fun, educational, theraputic, and inexpensive. My autistic daughter first played with this when her early interventionist brought it. All of the other reviews on this toy are right on! I bought this for her to keep at home, it was so great. There are many ways to play with this. You can use it as a puzzle to match the shapes and put the cookies together. You can play memory with them. My daughter is now too old for them to use in these ways, so she plays "tea party" with them! How's that for toy mileage! I was surprised to see them in "vanilla". (Ours were chocolate like Oreos) Neat! This toy is for everyone, whether the children have special needs or not. I hope this review helps.

My 2, almost 3, year old daughter loves this book. The phrases are almost a little too immature at times, but overall is very good.
