I am disappointed in this toy only because I cannot seem to find any other cartridges for the robots. At this time, I do not wish to buy just the french cartridge, I would like Spanish and others also. The french one is the only one I can find in the stores and online. I also have Toby the todbot, and the situation is the same. Had I known I would not be able to purchase other cartridges, I would NOT have purchased the robots!!!!

My 6 year old received this for Christmas last year and she and her sister play with it all the time. We have 4 cartridges (blue,green,yellow and purple) for Kasey and they never get bored with it! I wish there was something other than French for it. Other than that we are happy.

The "Dinner and a Movie" set pictured here is also available as part of a much bigger set, and as I type this review, the bigger set ($40 retail value) is on sale for $10. I think the bigger set is being clearanced, so hurry, first come, first served. I got the set I refer to when free shipping was available, but for $10 + shipping, it is still well worth it. My 2 1/2 year old LOVED this when she received it for a Christmas gift. I bought 5 other Sweet Street toys and she loves all of them. Highly recommended.

There isnt much more you could ask for with these Sweet street sets.
The movie theater is a great set!
Thw music can be a bit loud but bearable.
How it lights up is really cute as well. the table pops in and out very easily, when popped out the theatre shuts right up in a nice compact size! It even says you can "plug" the table in the other lights and sounds sets!!!

The Dora kitchen has been a great toy for our two year old, however, I can see that she will quickly outgrow this toy as it is limited in it's phrases and she is only mildly entertained by talking to Boots on the phone.

MY DAUGHTER ABSOLUTELY LOVES DORA AND THIS KITCHEN.SHE LOVES ALL THE PARTS THAT TALK, ESPECIALLY THE PHONE.SHE IS ALWAYS COOKING MOMMY AND DADDY SOMETHING ON HER STOVE, AND WE ALL SIT AT THE TABLE AND (PRETEND) TO EAT IT.SHE HAS LOTS OF FUN WITH THIS TOY.I WOULD EVEN SAY IF YOUR KID ISNT CRAZY ABOUT DORA THEY WOULD STILL LIKE THIS, OF COURSE IF THEY LIKE DORA THEY WILL KNOW THE MEANINGS BEHING SOME OF THE THINGS,BUT ANYWAYS.I DO WANT TO COMMENT ON THE DURABILITY, MY DAUGHTER IS A BIT CRAZY AT TIMES WITH HER TOYS AND I CAN TELL YOU THIS TOY WILL NOT BRAKE, THE OVEN DOOR COMES OFF ONCE IN AWHILE BUT IT POPS RIGHT BACK ON THERE, GOOD AS NEW!! I HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL IN SOME WAY.

For my daughter's 2nd birthday, she received the Disney Princess Talking Kitchen. It was cute but started falling apart in about 6 months. When I saw the Dora kitchen in the stores, I knew that she would love it. She's almost 3 now and I must say she plays with this almost every day.

The kitchen components are made of plastic and while they are not as thick as a Little Tykes kitchen, they are definitely better than the Princess kitchen. It took me about 45 minutes to assemble this with no assistance.

It is somewhat small width-wise and sits flush against a wall. Two toddlers (or 4 year olds) could easily stand side by side and play together. There is a refrigerator with "pictures" of Dora and Boots and you can slide in your own photos on top of Dora. This also comes with a cooktop, and oven plus 3 cards that slide into the recipe slot at the top of the kitchen.

The food and accessories are also excellent and help the child incorporate those recipe cards so they can "make" Cowboy Cookies, Empanadas and a couple of other dishes.

As far as the limited sounds and the disappointment that many are expressing, I'm quite happy. But I'm also a big believer that today's toys rely too heavily on electronics and batteries and take away from a child using their own imagination. My kids have repeatedly asked where the batteries go (in other toys) and the other day, my almost 3 year old held up a stuffed animal and asked "what does this do?". But I digress.

Dora says some phrases in English and Spanish and will prompt your child to gather ingredients for those recipes.

I'm also eager to get the other food sets that just came out for this kitchen.

My daughter got this for Christmas and it only says, "Know what goes good with everything? Ripped Pants!" Then he sings, "You won't end up like the fool who ripped his pants." and then says, "This is so embarrassing!" My daughter dropped the toy once and it said a different phrase but we can't get it to do it again. It seems like it's stuck in the "demo" mode and we can't figure out how to make it work.

I called Fisher Price and due to unsually high call volume they disconnect you after telling you to call back another time, Probably due to the fact that every parent who's child recieved this toy is calling to complain.

For those of you who think your toy is stuck in Demo Mode, IT IS. You need to remove one of the screws to access the battery compartment under his foot and pull out the plastic strip. Sponge Bob will then say all 4 of his "lines".

Ripped Pants SpongeBob is based on the TV episode "Ripped Pants." He's wearing the same ripped pants, has an embarrassed expression on his face, and is holding a sand guitar.

When you push the button on SpongeBob's right shoe, he will tell jokes like "I'll take a banana split... and some ripped pants!" or "This is what you call a real rip-off." Push the button on SpongeBob's left shoe and he will sing the ripped pants song... and rip his pants during the song!

Overall, 5 stars. Buy Ripped Pants SpongeBob now, don't miss your chance, or you will end up like the fool who ripped his pants!

Virtually the same as the Force of Nature Billy and Smokey and someone correct me if I'm wrong because I haven't actually purchased this one, but the axe that comes with the Force of Nature set, that attaches to the side of Smokey, is absent from the Nature Crew version. Unless it's taped to the bottom inside of the cardboard packaging, it seems like they left it out.

You still get a newer face sculpt of Billy (there have been so many in this toy line) and Smokey the cool fire fighting dog with the massive water shooting gun on his back.

I bought this for my (just turned) 2 year old son when I bought a more complicated Rescue Hero for his older brother. He loves it. He really likes the dog - what boy wouldn't - but he also loves shooting the water cannon. It is so simple that he quickly learned how to retrieve the water and put it back in to shoot again and again. We did institute a rule that we must replace the water in the cannon every time we shoot so that we don't lose track of it. Seems to be working so far.

The great part about the water is that it can go in any way, no little notches to fit into a slot like some shooting toys. 2 thumbs way up for that little bit of design genius.
