My son who is 4 had just had his tonsils and adenoids out and was really not feeling well, when we got this toy for him. He had played with another micro rescue hero's toy at preschool that he loved that, along with "reading" the toy pamphlet in with another toy, he saw the micro rescue hero's sets and he kept telling me that they where his very favorite toys. Getting this toy has really helped him play quietly on the couch. It is small enought that you can take it almost anywhere, it actually fit nicely in his "bookshelf" headboard on his bed. I love this toy and so does he. Not to fancy no sounds or lights, but enough small places to hide the men and a "secret" compartment to store the men in. Worth the $[...] paid.

Personally, I don't find this to be anything special. But, it's a very afordable product, which probably is what appeals to most people out there. Again, nothing special. Sigh.

We bought this set because we have two girls close in age and needed another girl for their dollhouse. They boy was a bonus, but I find that he doesn't really seem to have a place in the dollhouse or the other room sets. Maybe this question arises from me being a father, but where is the boy supposed to sleep?! The two girl figures we have share the girl bedroom trundle bed set, but the boy ends up stuck at the computer desk all "day" and all "night" long. There may not be room in my girls' dollhouse, but eventually it would be nice to see at least a cot for the boy to sleep on! LOL!

The figures are durable. I especially appreciate that they bend at the knees. This and the fact that they are pretty well balanced weight-wise allows them to sit on chairs and keep a walking pose without toppling.

My little girl loves this set because it adds more people to play with, but most of all, because there's a boy in the mix.

Durable, and recommended on my part.
