Wait for your child to get older and buy something else.
The concept for this toy is good, but in my experience, by the time our child mastered this ride on, she was too big to comfortably ride in it. Her knees hit the steering wheel before she was even 2 years old, and she needed help getting in and out because of no legroom. I noticed this with our kids and others' as well. It's best to wait for your child to get a bit older and take the $99 you will spend on this toy and put it towards a "full size" 12 volt ride-on. We currently have 4 ride-ons for our kids, so I feel pretty knowledeable on the subject. Small children do not possess enough arm strength to steer ride-ons with steering wheels (or a wishbone shaped steering wheel in this case). For small kids, I recommend a ride-on with a handlebar (4 wheeler, dirtbike, Harley) that they have more leverage to steer with. This toy is cute, but not well thought out. If there was more leg room so kids don't feel like they're trapped behind the wheel (which they quite literally are), I would have given this toy 5 stars in every category.

Not the best idea, but enjoyable
My in-laws got this car for my daughter for her first birthday. She was afraid of it and didn't want to even sit in it. Now that she is almost three she has gotten over her fear but she wants it to go faster, more like the bigger ones. She is getting a little big for it and doesn't really like sitting so low to the ground but at least she can't fall out of it! I guess she was not really ready for a riding toy so young and we should have held off until later and bought her a bigger, faster one! Overall it is a good idea. It has some good qualities and seems to be very durable.

GREAT fun!
We got this car for our 15 month old daughter. She absolutely loves it! She can push the power button but has hasn't figured out that if she pushes it for a longer period, she can go farther. She gets frustrated at the stop and go motion because of it. However, we rigged a clip on the steering wheel and when we take her out, we put the clip on the power button to hold it down and she takes off. Since she is so young, she can't steer so my husband and I stand on each side and gently tap the front wheels to turn it. Our daughter laughs and giggles the whole way. When we stop, she SCREAMS bloody murder --- great exercise for us too as we can't seem to to get her out of it unless we make 2 to 3 laps around our neighborhood. Would be GREAT if they could make this a remote control car.

    boring
This toy is very durable with brigh colors, but this toy is also quite lame!!! There is nothing to do besides popping the animals on and of of the other plastic pieces. We received this toy as a gift, and the only thing it has proved itself good for, is a teether (the different pieces) to our daughter.

    Mommy of One....
We received this toy as a Christmas gift when my daughter was 17 months old. She loves playing with it & can easily pop the parts together.
My only suggestion is that this toy should be purchased along with a larger group of Pop-Onz toys.
By itself, there's not a lot you can do, but along with other pieces, it's great.

    We love Pop-Onz
My 2 and 3 year old love Pop-Onz and this set was no exception. The price and free shipping were an added bonus.

Lonely Grandma with a removable skirt
Poor Grandma has no Grandpa to live with so she lives with her cat-who comes with a pet carrier. But the lady has a Velcro skirt that is removable-unlike any of the other Loving Family members. So she spends a great deal of time in her undies. If you want grandparents to visit your dollhouse, this is about your only option. Just be prepared for her to run around without her skirt!

    Loving Family dollhouse figures
I am disappointed that Fisher Price does not make the Grandma dollhouse figure in any people of color. There are plenty of the various figures as Caucasian, but there are limited choices for African-american. I also find it surprising that the brochures state that figures are also available in Hispanic but I have yet to see them.

      Fantastic FUN!!!
We have gone GEOTRAX crazy. We keep expanding and expanding to the point that my son's room is all GEOTRAX. My son got them at 17 months and he and my four year old absolutely love them. It is a fantastic experience for us all. We go in and play together as a family for hours. Plus the kids go in themselves most of the day when I do housework. I highly reccomend them to any family.

An Inexpensive Yet Valuable Add-On to Your Track
The GeoTrax Rail n Road System is a super toy for toddlers age 2 1/2 and up. The toys are durably-constructed and they develop physical coordination and design creativity each time your child rearranges the tracks.

That said, both the Tracktown Railway and Working Town starter sets eventually show their limitations because there's only so much you can do with the track pieces provided. That's when add-ons like this one become so valuable.

The real treat of this set is the additional pair of switches. Used in conjuction with any of the GeoTrax train sets, your child will be able to dream up many more layouts with these two vital pieces. Two additional curves and straight bridges are also included. The remaining pieces are scene decorations - trees and signs - that kids will love to place throughout their new world.

This affordable add-on will open up lots of new possibilities for any existing GeoTrax setup.

      Geotrax is the only trax
We researched a few tracks before selecting this one for our 5 yr old twin boys. Now our 7 yr old girl wants a rc train for it too! It is sturdy, designed with children in mind, and uses imagination with a remote controlled train. Fun sounds!

      Dora electronic toy
This toy seems educational, and is. My daughter wasn't very interested in it after about a week though. I think it suits older kids like 3-6.

This trike is not for 2-3 year olds!
I bought this trike for my 28 month old who is in the 90th percentile for height. He cannot reach the pedals at all. I even tried taping wooden blocks to the pedals which added about 2 inches and he could then touch the pedals but couldn't get close enough to actually pedal in order to ride. Besides for that, the bike looks very sturdy, but any child who would be tall enough to ride it (probably a 3 1/2 year old or older) would really be too old for it, it's pretty low to the ground and baby looking. My 3 1/2 year old can barely pedal it, and he can pedal a regular 12 inch bike with training wheels. Someone really made a mistake in the planning of this bike! If you have a VERY tall 2 year old I'd recommend it, otherwise, I'd look for something else.

2 year old can't reach the pedals
My 2 year old is average sized and he can't reach the pedals. Box lists for 2 year old. If you have an average or small 2 year old you'll want to get something else.

Looks like a tough toy. Not much in the bells & whistles area. Price is appropriate for what it appears to be.

          Great value for the price
We bought this trike for our 3 year old. We love it. It is sturdy (not prone to tipping), easy to steer, and is really durable. Our 5 year old still loves to ride it even though his legs are a little long for it. We highly recommend it for a 3 or 4 year old.

            Blue Thunder Great Fun
I bought the Blue Thunder for my son for Christmas. It was very easy to assemble and within an hour I had it put together and the battery charging (hide it until you have a full day to charge the battery, it's very hard to push by hand). Once the battery was charged, I was a little worried because it seems to go so fast and my son had just turned 3. I shouldn't have worried. He was a little hesitant at first, but within days he was tooling around the yard and backing up like a pro. The Blue Thunder has a built-in seatbelt and has (so far) turned out to be a safe toy. The best part is that it can go anywhere in the yard, which was a problem we had with a ride-on motorcycle we had purchased which only worked on the drive or sidewalk.

              Great Addition to Kitchen
This is A great Addition to the Magic Cook Kitchen. My boys have really enjoyed it. They love to hear the kitchen "cook" the items and call them by name and then they serve us breakfast. :-) The pieces are well made and have been "eaten" many times and the paint/color on them has not chiped or anything.. I am not however impressed with the price here though. I purchased one online then found one at Target for $9.99 to me that is a BIG difference in price.

                Lots of Fun!
My three year old daughter can't get enough of this Diego and Baby Jaguar Set. She doesn't have any of the other talking playhouse toys so I have no idea how well they work with that. She just loves pretending to rescue animals all day. The Fisher-Price Learning Zoo is a perfect companion to this toy because it comes with 26 animals to rescue.

                Daughter LOVES this set!
My daughter absolutely loves this little set. She makes up many adventures featuring Diego and Baby Jaguar and of course, has to check her "field journal" as she plays. She actually plays with these more on their own than with the Dora dollhouse, but they are great, either way. The little field journal opens and closes, which is fun. This toy has provided hours upon hours of playtime enjoyment for such a small price. We highly recommend Diego with the Field Journal and Baby Jaguar!
