Fun toyThis is a fun toy for kids. I wish there was a volume button because it is kinda loud. But my daughter seems to really like it.
Great toyMy daughter loves this toy. She loves the wheels on the bus song. She has been enjoying her little people toys a lot lately. Great toy.
great toyMy daughter recieved a Little People bus when she was 21mo old. She played with that bus almost every day. It was one of her favorites. That was 8 years ago. She had so much fun with this toy that I kept it. Since then it has gone to her two younger brothers. They push it around and fill it with all sorts of little people (farmers, truck drivers, ect.) Our bus does not play music or have lights. (due to purchase date) It is purely imagination. But definitly a well made toy that I will keep beyond my kids. Hooray for the LP bus!!!!!

Sweet first baby dollThis is the best doll ever for a little girl's first baby doll. She got this for her first birthday in Dec., and has loved it ever since. Wonderful doll, and one of the few geared toward very young children. Highly recommend.
Great First DollMy daughter loves her Little Mommy Dolls! She has just about everyone in the collection. The Little Mommy dolls are just your basic, adorable baby doll, but that's all you need for a first baby. I bought her a Chou Chou baby doll and she was so upset when the the baby cried! In other words, the basic dolls are better for younger toddler (She's 21 months old). I highly recommend any of the Little Mommy Dolls.
This baby is "the baby" for my babyMy 14 month old daughter has reached the phase when she needs to hug, cuddle and nurture. My husband laughed at me for saying that she needed a baby to play with (she had none at the time), but when she got another baby doll from a friend that is twice the size of Little Mommy and started sleeping with it and carrying it around, he realized that, yes some little girls do naturally like dolls. We bought Little Mommy doll to wean her off the first one that was too big and to bulky for us to deal with on the everyday basis. And what a hit she was in our house!!!
Little Mommy doll is the perfect first baby. She's 14" tall (just perfect size for the little hands and for your purse). She has a soft rubber head, arms and legs, and cloth body filled with pellets. She's very snuggly. She has a pretty face and big inquisitive eyes (the prettiest eyes I've seen on a doll) and painted eye lashes (which is great because our daughter tends to chew on the other dolls "realistic" eye lashes). She comes with a little baby bottle and toy keys that my daughter loves to play with.
I gave Little Mommy 45 stars for educational value because I strongly believe that lovey toys like this one teach kids attachment, sensitivity, compassion and nurturing - the most important emotions that we as humans posses. I gave it 5 stars for "fun" because it is so much fun watching my baby enjoy her baby so much. Overall, this baby doesn't leave my daughter's arms for anything other than a bath. We have to deal with some screaming because baby can't join in the bath tub, but we just got her another "bath companion" to deal with this situation.
But the best, very best feature of this "transitional object" is that it doesn't do anything - no singing, no dancing, no teaching alphabet or numbers, no crying 'mama', no giggling! Just an old fashioned baby doll that allows the imagination of the little one to run the show. No annoying sounds to endure on the long car rides! And no batteries to buy - ever!
