We got this for Christmas this year. It has been a little disappointing. First, the little girls arm fell off, on Dec 26th! (I called FP and they sent out a new one quickly). The biggest disappointment is how the people won't sit in the chairs, esp the kitchen chairs. This really frustrates my daughter, 3 1/2, who doesn't play with this house much at all.

My daughter LOVES this dollhouse - it's lovely, durable and she can take it with her anywhere. BUT, she gets really frustrated sometimes because the people can't sit in the chairs or on the couch - they keep falling off!!!! They can go to sleep or sit in the tub or stand. Maybe if their knees bent they could sit, but as it is now they just topple over... every time.

My daughter will be 4 next month. Although she loves these toys and plays with them for hours, she gets very irritated that the characters don't always sit down right (slides off the furniture). Also, I suggest you spend a little more money and purchase the play mats because the furniture gets "cramped" in the house when trying to play...So my daughter plays with half of the furniture outside of it.

i just received for my birthday and i really like it.i really dont like dora th eexplorer so i use it for my FISHER PRICE dollhouse people.what gets really annoying is that the swing goes up but it doesnt come back down until you pull it.the slide is reall cool though.what i think is the coolest part is that the tree opens up into a club house.it has a desser with books and a pretend dragon on it.maybe th eswing works on other ones so i guess i would buy it.

The swing is REALLY cute. I liked this outdoor piece a lot better than the Dora Greenhouse.

My twin 4 yr old girls love this toy. They play for hours. They just love it.

I do like this toy for children, but i think that its way to expensive to buy the house and ALL of the accessories (which you know every little girl needs).

Overall i think that it's WAY too expensive.

My 2 year loves Dora, so we bought the house for her, and then slowly bought the additional pieces. If I had known she would have played with it as much as she does, I would have spent the money and bought the entire set together. This is her favorite toy, hands down. And my 3 1/2 yr old plays with it just as much.

One thing we did was build a table for everything to sit on. With the house eye level, it makes it much more fun for them to play with, and easier for them to spread out the additional pieces. It's always the first thing they go for when they enter the playroom.

We got this for our daughter last Christmas and it was a wonderful purchase. The house and all the furniture are very cute and true to the cartoon. The Dora products are very positive and Eli has loved them for years now. Hope to see even more great Dora stuff.

I think it's a neat toy, but my kids are unimpressed. The sandwich is fun but everything else is a bit lame - my 2 year old thinks the orange is just a ball, the banana is too small and the jelly jar looks more like play dough than any jelly we've ever seen.

This really is a cute, sturdy toy. The only problem is that it is not easy to change the bread from the " clean look" to the look with jelly you really have to rub the knife agains the piece of bread hard for it to change and it may be hard for a child to do.

I love this set... and of course my 28 month old daughter does as well! This set has a plastic knife, 1 small blue plate, a can of jam, an apple, orange and piece of bread. What is unique is that your child can pretend to spread the jam on the bread and then move the white "Plain Bread" surface to reveal the jam on the bread. It must be on a small roller of some sorts, but it is so neat! The apple and the jam are made of plastic and can not be opened, but the orange can be opened to reveal 2 sections of oranges! It's just too much fun to watch my daughter "Cook me a meal", tell me that it's not ready yet and that it's hot! We've had some really neat mornings and afternoons playing pretend! Definately one of the best, if not the best play food out there on the market! And even better, it's affordable too!
