i can't find another onei need this doll and i can't find it, my baby love her, but dora is losing the hair...hopefully i find this dora someplace
Great Buy for Younger GirlsI purchased this doll as a gift for my friend's little girl. I was very impressed with the price of the item being that it was a name brand doll. The doll is a little smaller than most dolls so it's just the right size for little arms to hold. The colors on the doll are very bright and inviting. The only down fall of this item is that the clothes are not removeable so it's not a very good doll to play dressup with. But the hair is rooted so that your little girl can enjoy combing and styling Dora's hair. All in all a great doll for the price.

Fisher-Price Peek-a-Blocks: Barnyard Friends Blocks

My favorites of the set... These blocks are great fun. Each block has something interesting inside it. In our house these have been played with by boys and pretty roughly at times. The windows to see inside are still clear and not one of these blocks have broken. So I would say they are sturdy and hold up well to normal play.
This set is my particular favorite along with the transportation set. The animals are very cute.
On the ends of each block is a texture. Within each block is something interesting. And many blocks have an activity associated with it- push a button to make a noise, twist a knob to make something turn around etc.
The one thing I would warn is that these blocks do not stack well, particularly in tall towers. So if you are thinking of buying these for tower building, I'd consider a different set of blocks. Otherwise, these are excellent toys.
They provide a basis for communication and vocubulary building with your child. They are sturdy and encourage language, eye hand coordination and so on.
If you enjoy toys that are fairly quiet, do more than have a push button to make a noise, foster independent creative play and exploration of the world this is an excellent toy.
Enjoy.

Mom of 3 KidsI bought these for my little girl when she was 1 year old to go with another toy that takes them, she loves them!!! They are very durable and easy to clean. If you lose one it's no big deal either, it's not a toy that you have to keep them all together or it won't be fun or work.

Does not work on a computer at allYou can not play "read with me DVD"s on a computer that plays DVDs. My kids each have a portable computer for playing games and watching DVDs. These do not work at all. Normal DVDs have options that you sellect on the screen. These need to have a remote control, which our computers do not have. This is a substandard DVD, and probably should not be called a DVD.
Great story for the Read with Me DVD playerThis was a great addition to our Read with Me dvd collection. My son loves it - there are so many games and options available that it keeps him occupied for hours!

Great purchaseI was very pleased with the quality and timely delivery of this item.
Great Books! My daughter received four books from this system when she was 9 months old for Christmas and loves them on their own. She learned her letters and the objects pictured. The books are very durable as she liked to bite on them while she was teething. Ten months have passed and she still enjoys them as much as she did when she first received them.
~Cali Mom~"I know My Letters" AND "I know My Numbers" are the best books of the four out right now for the PT Baby!!! ***This one is our favorite***
The pages are way stronger than the reg. PT books for the older kids. These pages are coated and are thicker and more durable. The pages have texture on some of the pictures too and the picture talk and/or make sounds as well.
This book is a must have for your PT Baby. Enjoy!!!

Gigantic toy way too big for young childrenMy parents bought the hyperjet for my 5 yr. old son for his birthday. I could not believe the size of the box when it arrived - the thing is huge. It is so huge, that he can't pick it up. It separates into different parts, but the entire thing is too large for a child to lift up. He (and he is a big Rescue Heroes fan) has not touched it since he got it. That is a lot of money to spend for a toy that has never seen a moment of play time. I wish I knew someone to give it to just to get it out of the house. It practically needs its own garage. . .
We love itI don't think there is a single Rescue Heroes thing we don't own. This Jet is one of my sons favorite toys. He uses it like a central command and doesn't care that he can't "fly it"
My son's favorite Xmas toy! One of the best Rescue Heroes toys.My son kept seeing the commercial for this on a Rescue Heroes DVD we had and he had to have it for Christmas. After getting tons of RH stuff from Santa and family members, this ship and his new Kenny Ride figure are his two favorite presents. He loves playing the commands, opening the two main hatches, flying the front of it around with Billy Blazes driving, and making the Megabot with the attached robot stand.
It's very big, and Just think of how massive this looks from a kid's perspective! He even likes kneeling in the back when it's fully opened, and pretending he's riding in it. Back when I was a kid, the Star Wars Millenium Falcon was the ship everyone wanted, and that was big, but this topples even that! While he can't pick it up and fly it, he has no trouble sliding it around the floor.
There are a few drawbacks: It's so big, I am the one who has to lug it up and down the stairs in the house. You have to take off the back wing assembly in order to open the rear hatch. Also, the green ramps that slide out, are difficult for him to place into their locking slits on his own. You need to apply pressure to the back door, to push it back slightly, in order for the ramps to lock into place.
Other than that, he loves this toy, and likes using it as headquarters better than the Mountain Command Center. One of his favorite figures was CD Moon, so he also loved getting a second one, in a maroon space suit. My son loves space themed things, so that made him like it even more than just a Rescue Heroes toy! Highly recommended for the RH fan.

Happy Family Volvo

disappointing purchaseFirst, the Volvo wagon is supposed to be scaled for the Midge series of Barbie dolls, slightly smaller than regular Barbie.
Another annoyance, it comes with a little pink roll-on suitcase full of microscopic Fisher-Price replica toys that have nothing to do with the Volvo. I put all the tiny pieces together in the suitcase for my granddaughter and the suitcase wouldn't close. I looked on the box illustrations, and sure enough, they show a suitcase NOT CLOSED. How could they design such a silly bunch of add-ons? I just got rid of all that teeny-tiny stuff that doesn't relate to the inherent play value of the car. Any kid would prefer to put her/his own stuff into a little suitcase than this mishmash of silly product promo from Fisher-Price. Would have been nice to have a choice of colors, even approximately the REAL colors that the Volvo wagon comes in. I just wanted my granddaughter to be able to play-like with Grandma's white Volvo wagon. How hard should that be? Overall, I'm disappointed with this toy. For 28$, shipping included, I expected a better toy. Not worth the money.

It looks better on the computer screenMy daughter likes to push the car around, but she's four. The doors don't open, making it a little diificult to get the Barbies in the seats, It's also difficult to fasten the seat belts. There are two car seats in the back seat. One is removable and makes sounds. Since there are no doors, using the stationary seat is also difficult. However, it does seem to be very durable.
DisappointedMy daughter received this as a gift to go along with her Happy Family dolls. It is really hard to get the dolls into the car. Plus the doors do not open so you have to jam them through the sunroof. The booster seat is really hard to put Ryan in. I am not sure why Fisher-Price made such a hard car for these dolls. I mean, if an adult has a hard time putting the dolls in, then for a kid it is impossible!
