My 2 yr old daughter picked this toy out for her 2nd birthday. I thought it would be good because she loves to play in the tub and swimming season was just started it would be great in the little wade pool. What i did not like about the toy is that boots for starters does not float up right like the picture. Boots floats upside down. Deigo, Dora, and boots are too big when in the boat to go under the bridge and when they go down the slide they get stuck in that hole they fall into. THe tree comes apart easily and is more furstration than fun. Someone should have played with this toy in water before putting it on the market.

Now my daughter does enjoy playing with the dora,degio and sometimes boots ( who is her favorite) but because he floats upside down she ignores him. THe island is usless. If your kids want to play with dora and the gang buy them with out the island it is cheaper.

I bought this toy for my daughters 3rd birthday and it is in the bathtub everytime she takes a bath and she shows no interest in it what so ever. the boots character i threw away due to mold and my daughter hasn't even noticed. I don't recall a tree being attached to it i'll have to look again. I am thinking about actually taking this to the pool to see if she will play with it there.

I purchased this bath toy with some feelings of trepidation after reading the reviews, but my 2-year old loves Dora and so I figured I couldn't go wrong. I'm glad now that I did. We haven't had near the amount of trouble that some others have.

I read the multiple reviews stating that the bridge doesn't hold the two island pieces together, and at first I thought ours was going to be the same. But I found that I really had to muscle the bridge piece down into the cutouts in the island pieces. Once I did this, it held together just fine. I even picked it up out of the water by the bridge and the whole thing held together out of the water with all of the bath water draining off of it.

We didn't have any problems with it floating either, no more so than any other bath toy anyway. The tree does tip over a couple of times per bath but that is a small price to pay for the enjoyment my daughter gets out of it.

As with any bath toy, you do have to keep it clean to keep mold from growing on it (or in it). I may see if I can find a way to plug the holes in the bottom to keep water out of there, but overall I'm happy with the Floating Island bath toy and I'm glad I bought it.

I bought this toy for my infant a couple of months ago, and she loved it. It is really a cute toy. I think I like playing with it as much as she does. However, when she learned how to pull up on it the whole thing tipped over away from her. She fell over the top of it, and she hit her mouth. She has not been quite as interested in it since this happened. It is a great toy, but extra care should be taken once your baby can pull up.

My neice and my son each have one and they both love it.. as does my four year old! they are so cute.. this is the first toy that my son actually played with! It is very cute. If I had not gotten it as a gift, I would buy it! Great toy..

I bought this for my daughter about a month ago and she quickly figured out how to get the gumballs to roll out. She was trying to play with it before I even got it out of it's box in fact. She loves to make all the balls come out at once instead of waiting for the music to finish but that's ok. She loves anything that lights up and since we live in a small town with only a Walmart to buy toys at these kind of toys are hard to find. She especially loves the ball with the smaller balls inside (she's also obsessed with rattles). This toy is very durable so far and I love it. Fisher Price makes some of the best toys around and I love the Peek a Blocks concept and now the Peek a Balls.

The battery that was recommended was not needed. Besides, there was a shipping cost, so it was pointless to send it back. The 12 volt battery that is in the very cute car is weak, and at this time, we have not been able to find a replacement. If you buy the Corvette, do not buy the 6 volt battery.

This is not the right battery for the Harley motorcycle it is being sold with. So now I'm stuck with a battery I can't return, and my MIL is out the $35 she paid because Amazon cross-promoted it.

There was ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to buy this battery other than THIS WEBSITE promoted it to be needed in the long run for this toy. The battery that was delivered WAS NOT compatible with the product we bought and the return AND delivery was and is a nightmare. When Toys R Us was contacted they admitted that you did NOT need this EXTRA battery and MANY MANY times the battery shipped is NOT compatible with the toy. (...)

I bought this for my baby when she was about a month old, and she loved it until she was around 5 months - when she started sitting unassisted. She would stare at herself in the mirror and eventually was able to reach and pull down the toys.
My only complaint is once she began to reach for the toys and get them down, she would naturally chew on them. The pictures on the hanging toys are stickers and even without teeth my baby would mouth the sticker and would end up with loose pieces in her mouth.

i bought this for my 2 month old son, he LOVES it! i had originally bought another fisher price playmat (barnyard) and it was way too overstimulating for him. this has gentle music and is slow moving so he can easily follow the petals and not get over stimulated. i also like that you can activate the mobile without the music. he loves the mat for tummy-time also. the toys hang at just the right level and can also be adjusted accordingly. he rolled over for the first time while looking at the toys! i would highly recommend this. it has all the benefits of a playmat and more. he laughs and talks at himself in the mirror and can stay entertained for an hour sometimes! LOVE IT!!!

We bought this for my 2 month old daughter and it was the only thing she will lay under and get her attention. She is 4 months now and still likes it. The only complaint I have is that the panda mat is hard to connect and it does take up a bit of room. But over all we are happy and so is Anna.

My little girl is now almost 1 year old; we bought this toy for her when she was about 6 months old because she loves Elmo so much. We held onto it thinking she may like it some day, but it continues to be too loud for her. The buttons are also sometimes difficult to push and the toy is very unpredictable. Pushing the same buttons do not give the same responses each time; sometimes they do not work at all; I have tried all 3 modes of play and none of them seem to work correctly. I would not recommend this toy at all!!! This toy was very disappointing!

First, it's too loud. It needs to have a volume control adjustment. And second, when Elmo plays peek-a-boo it makes my son cry because it scares him. So I don't think this product is for infants.

We received this toy as a gift when our son was born. He loved lying down and watching the flashing lights, and Elmo popping up and saying "Peek-a-boo!" He is now 6 months old, and it's still his favorite toy! Since it converts to a sit up position as well, it really grows with your baby. It does use up batteries pretty quickly, but it's a small price to pay for a toy that makes him so happy.

These balls have been a consistent favorite of my son's. He loves to bat and chase them (crawling after them), shake them and study them. He has thrown them, rolled them and banged them. Although they haven't broken and seem really durable, they do get cloudy from all the abuse.

These are so neat. I wish Fisher Price would have come out with these the same time as the Peek a Blocks. These are the greatest things for littles ones for sight, sounds and texture. Great gift!!!

I bought the first set of these when my daughter was 6 months old. At that stage she wasnt into rolling the balls as much as clutching them, shaking them like mad and putting them into her mouth. Now that they are a favorite they are all over my house. She loves to carry them with her, they are the perfect size for a toddlers chubby hands, she enjoys looking at the objects inside and manipulating them. Now she loves to push them and chase them across the floor so I think these are educational and very multifunctional.

Our 11 month old son received this for Christmas and, wow, what a great truck!
1. Love that the ladder moves up and down and can fit both the firedog and the fireman.
2. Eyes move when it drives- cute.
3. Nice fire truck sounds.
4. Both our kids love to make it drive forward.

We rotate toys and this firetruck has turned out to the favorite of all our trucks and cars. It's the one the kids keep going back for!

If you look through my daughters toys, she had a ton of Fisher Price toys because I love their products so good. This truck has good sound effects and my daughter enjoys playing with this toy. All Fisher Price toys are very durable. Even though I have a daughter she is a rough on toys as any boy!

My son loves trucks and cars; but I must say this is one of the cuter ones. It goes and goes and doesn't stop going to the "fire". This toy even got grown men without children on their knees to play with it. Great toy - I highly recommend it.

As mentioned before, it takes a long time to get Elmo to pop up UNLESS you hold it at an angle. On a flat surface, it will never pop up.

A poorly made toy. It does not even deserve to the on the Island of Misfit Toys.

It takes FOREVER to get Elmo to pop out. By the time the very annoying song plays 10 times my one year old son is crying and frustrated because Elmo has STILL not popped out. It is also impossible for a small child to use because of the tiny turn handle. I can hardly grasp hold of it, let alone a child! This toy is a complete waste of time and money.

...Sure do set this toy off. We have had it for a while now -but the batteries have been permenantly removed. Ours used to play music all by itself in the middle of the night if it had been cranked just so the day before. It took us a while to figure out why our then 3 yr. old started waking up terrified. Now we know. It's cute but takes many cranks to pop up, and, once it is in just the right position, will play music with just about any movement! (even something being blown on it by the fan in the middle of the night) Don't waste your money...Get something else-anything else!

This is the best swing out there. Best features:
-ability to adjust back as baby grows and wants to sit more upright. Many other swings sit back way too far and my baby didnt like that at all!
-ability to remove the tray makes for ease in taking baby out
-VERY SAFE...3 point harness, in addition to the tray that comes down.
-length of ropes is perfect...not to high or too low!

Overall, I dont think you will find a better swing with all these features.

I first bought this swing 8 years ago when my nephew turned 1. He LOVED it, it was his best birthday gift. Since then, it has become our standard one-year-old gift. I've given it to dozens of children and received rave reviews every time. When a friend bought this for my son's first birthday, we were thrilled. He and his friends are now nearly four and still like to swing in it even though they have mastered the big-boy swing. My one-year-old will sit in it watching the big kids play in the garden and he is a mover - does not like to sit still at all. It is also perfect on days when the ground is too wet to crawl around (which seems like everyday lately).

By the way, I read the 'upside down' post. I was concerned and tried to turn mine upside down without a child in it and the ropes are balanced that I could not turn it even empty. That family may have had defective ropes or it was installed improperly...

This swing is perfectly safe... Setting it up was a piece of cake and our 6 month old Loves to swing in it!
