This is a good toy (series of toys) with a nice theme - heroes of nature. It is durable and fun, but I don't agree with the ages 3 to 8. The three year olds I know still put a lot of things in their mouths and some of the pieces are small. I would say 5 to 8 is better. Just watch younger ones with these.

This Rescue Hero, Dewey C.M. and Glades is very cool. My son loves the Nature Force sets and has all of them. He really enjoys incorporating the animals into the rescue missions. This one is particularly fun since the animals mouth opens at the push of a button so he pull a branch of a stranded victim or some other type of rescue act. The other reviewer mentioned small pieces but I am not so sure what she is talking about. This specific action figure does not come with any small pieces and I have never had a problem worrying about my son with Rescue Heroes. He has had them since he was 2 1/2 and never had a small piece put in his mouth. He has always loved his Rescue Heroes and never would put one his mouth anyway..... In fact, most do not even come with small pieces...They are made for the preschool age group keep in mind, not small toddlers. This set has a Rescue Hero, a backpack and Glades the alligator, nothing a child could put in his mouth and choke on. This is even more fun when used in conjunction with the Rescue Hero Swamp Skimmer. My son loves making up "swamp missions".

If your child is a Rocky Canyon fan, then this is the one to get. He has a thinner face which looks a lot like him in the show. It's a better likeness of the mountain climbing rescue hero then previous figures they came out with, and they've got him back in his normal green duds. The last several Rocky figures that were made all had very fat faces and he looked quite awkward. He was also made in a variety of colored outfits, which he never seems to wear in the animated show. They also looked very similar to Bob Buoy. If you had the two of them out of the package, you wouldn't be able to tell them apart, especially since they recently made a Bob Buoy in Rocky's usual color: green.

The Robotz line comes with the action figure and a connecting robot figure (connects to the backpack) which talks in robo talk, and then you hear the cartoon voice of Rocky Canyon. A rather odd combination, as the Rescue Heroes manage pretty well on their own and really don't need robots. I would have rather had the price a little cheaper and had it just come with a talking backpack. My son loves Rocky, and after wanting to hear his voice a few times with the robot attached, quickly ripped off the backpack and robot and threw it on the floor, never to be played with again!!

The robot's just a gimmick, but the Rocky action figure is really nice. One of the best Rocky figures released. A must have for the Rocky Canyon fan!

My 2 1/2 year old really loved this set as his first real action figures. The figures are electronic and hooked together. Separately they each have sounds and voice but when connected together Billy Blazes and Ember actually communicate with each other as they answer the fire alarms. Kids love it because they can easily push the various buttons to hear the sounds. all the figures in th Rescue Heroes line are very durable and stand up well to the kind of abuse a pre-preschooler can dish out. Add to that the nice wide feet of the figures allow younger kids to stand them up quite easily as compared to normal action figures.

These are really fun, reliable and wonderful toys for young children. All of the figures have good storylines behind them. No small parts to worry about being swallowed. Good stuff!

All my friends have little boys and they loved this toy (the fathers more than the little boys I think). Especially the catapult. It was a complete success.

We purchased this item to complete our 3 year old granddaughter's little peoples's castle. She loves to play princess and have adventures with her dragons, princes and ponys. It stimulates her imagination as she brings to life her stories and entertains us with them. We find all of the little people items to be of good quality and toys that last from child to child..generation to generation.

This toy gets played with the least with the castle. My son would rather play with the farm or the garage... Overall though, the toy is great, made well and very cute...

My daughters have collected all the set of these and they are wonderful - they have a little fold out Pooh house and the figures sit in their nicely. They also have a duplo set of the winnie-the-pooh figures, but for some reason these are the ones that they prefer.

They are hard wearing, although with a lot of sun they do start to loose their colour. I realise they have no direct educational value but my children really enjoy using them. Their advantage and disadvantage is that they are small - they are too big for a baby to choke on - but big enough not to be swallowed, However they are also small enough to be frequently lost or mislaid resulting in huge searchs of the house to try to figure out where they are. A popular toy with my two under 5 year olds

This is really a great doll house, I like the versatility of the different pieces. The shower turns into a bath and the bump bed turns into two beds. I just think Fisher Price has to think about the kids more when designing these products.

What I mean is that...the furniture is too small for the figurines. I brought my niece all the accessories, but she gets frustrated when she can't get them to sit or stand for that matter. The mom and papi don't fit on the see-saw and it's hard to get them to sit at the table.

They should also make it so that when you close it up, the accessories could fit inside. I brought my niece a plasitc ben to put the accessories in.

Even with these draw backs, my niece loves it and pulls it out ever chance she gets.

My daughter gets SOOOOOO frustrated when she can't get the dolls to sit in the chairs. They just tumble right over.
The table itself is nice, though, and she really likes to play with it.

I really wish this came with the house. But what it doesn't show is that you pull the table and a cake comes up from the middle. The dinner place settings also flip over. So you get your money's worth. My daughter loves pretending they are eating dinner and then having a party with the cake.
