Fisher Price Screwy Looey

    Big waste of money
Bought this for my "old-for-his-age" two-year-old who loves drills, so I thought he'd love it. To my surprise, it succeeded only in freaking him out and making him cry. The drill has a very annoying, kind of creepy laugh that is guaranteed to drive you crazy. The drill is supposed to have two modes: game (Screwy) and normal (Looey). The game mode is rather stupid, requiring kids to pick up on the drill's "mood," to succeed. I think the nuances of this mode are easily lost, since the drill never seemed to budge from acting chronically insane. The drill's normal "drive" mode (Looey), is supposed to function as solely as a drill, but it doesn't - the drill stops working and starts laughing half way through, and at this point you pretty much want to chuck the thing hard. BIG waste of money, and I bought at $10. Luckily I was able to return it.

    This toy is SUPER annoying...
My son picked this toy out on a trip with his aunt. She bought it for him for Christmas last year. He tried so hard to get the drill to work properly. He would get mad and cry because it wouldn't screw the screws in. My son has a workshop with tools that he can really use, so this one was confusing to him. This is not for a child that can already use a toy screwdriver. It will only frustrate the child and you.

Two 3 yr olds love it
My 3 yr old gave it to her 3 yr old friend and the two of them played so nicely together! I had some trouble figuring it out but they thought it was fantastic. Too early to say if its durable or runs through the batteries, but so far a big hit.

    Pixter Travel Case

Toys R Us should know better
When a person purchases a Color Pixter, Toys R Us should know better than send a Pixter Travel Case that does not fit the Color Pixter. No where on the discription did it mention it was for black and white only. This is only one more reason to go to the store where you can see for yourself. On a plus note, I purchased the item for $9.99 and Toys R Us credited me $14.99. They would not accept my invoice as a receipt and treated it as a return with no receipt. But it cost me at least $5.00 in gas for the trip.

      Won't fit color pixter
My daughter received this case as a gift to go along with the color pixter we were getting her. Note that I specified "color", something that the product description doesn't mention. The case does not fit, not even close. It seems steardy and has room for two game cartridges, but frankly, that's useless in our case. If you've got a b/w pixter, it's a fine buy, otherwise don't bother. We'll be returning this case.

      PROBLEM
Doesn't mention anywhere in the ad that it's for a b&w pixter only. Looks like they will be getting lots of returns.

      Better than FP's Little People
My daughter is 2 1/2, and she LOVES Sweet Streets. She never, ever played with her Little People collection as much as she plays with her SS toys now. It's amazing!! She completely neglects her Little People now. Thank you Fisher Price, and we'll definitely be buying more Sweet Streets toys in the future!!!

      Thank you Fisher price!
Sweet streets are a hit in this house!
Every pices in this set is adorable!!
      The horse has "real hair"
The truck and trailer are just too cute and the perfect design for a country feel, of course the dog and person adorable! It is nice how the bale of "straw" fits perfectly in the back of the truck. I also really like the color choices they have picked out.
One of my favorite things about the SS. All the sets, people and items interact well together. (at least the sets I have)
While it has small pieces, something MY daughter LOVES, it is not overpopulated with insanely small pieces I would fear losing. Like polly pockets.

I love the Sweet Street line. I read some reviews that say it is small and all the items do not fit in each house. So what. I love that my daughter has to use her imagination. There is so much to do and yet she has to think and make things up. They are small and compact but I like that. They all fit together and can be put away without losing pieces. My 4yr old has barbies and a big barbie house but we spend so much time dressing them she doesnt end up playing a whole lot. With the sweet streets she can imagine them doing whatever. They are a great price too. The only weird thing I found is that some of the old houses from 2000 or so has slightyl smaller people than now but my daughter doesnt seem to notice. Thank you for making such a great toy than can be added to for years and requires thinking. Bravo. You can bet we will be adding to our Sweet Street Town at Christmas!!!

        pretty boring toy
My son recieved this toys for his birthday. He is 18 months old and hardley looks at it. He played with it for all of 5 minutes at first and now it is a great dust collector. My advice, if you choose to buy it, keep your receipt just in case!
