Fisher price need to get these little toys out and available again, my two daughters (2 and 4) really adore this set. They are hard wearing plastic and are used in all sorts of situations, the pooh toy is the most popular followed by Piglet and tigger.

They are a good size - too small to be swallowed, but small enough for little hands to be able to play with easily. Unfortunately they are easily mislaid meaning frequent searches throught the house.

There are lots of fantasy games the kids play with them - far and beyond the pooh stories. There is a nice little fold out plastic pooh house which these toys fit into.

I was disappointed in how much my toddler enjoyed this toy. I thought he would get a kick out of banging in the pegs but that lasted for about 45 seconds and has been rarely played with. The pegs are difficult to bang in with a toddler's dexterity. even though it is cheap, it is no bargain if it doesn't get played with.

We bought this toy for my 16 month old daughter. She really shows no intrest in it. She has a hard time banging the pegs with the hammer, and mostly ends up pushing them with her fingers. I expected more from a fisher price toy. Maybe a boy wold have more fun with the banging. We got as a present a similar wooden bench ,and she enjoys it a lot more. I will give it 5 stars for being very durable. I dont see much educational value, the pegs do have shapes, but they dont come out. A basic shape sorter teaches a lot more.

WE didn't get this until my son was two. He really enjoys it. He likes to bang the pegs in and turn it over and begin again.

I don't know how educational this is regarding teaching shapes etc. However, what it does do is teach manual dexterity and eye and hand coordination. These are very important pre-reading skills.

The pegs were a little bit tough to pound down at first. I sprayed a little bit of cooking oil on them and that seemed to help quite a bit.

Here are the few negatives that I think people should be aware of- The hammer is loose, this means that it can easily get lost and also used for pounding other things (little sisters, tables etc). We fixed that by tying some yarn around the hammer and to the little table. And, as I stated, when you first get it, the pegs might be a little bit tight in their holes.

Overall, I'd say this is a fun toy and used a lot at our house.

My two year old loves to play with this toy and entertains her for hours. The pieces do come off easily but are just as easy to snap back on - my two year old can snap them back.

This playhouse is sooo cute! Little kids have bundles of fun too, and it's really simple to set up. Unfortunately, the doors come off pretty easily, but they snap on just as easily. And, you can carry it around without the stuff falling out the door. I would say it's worth it!

pooh's playhouse is so cute!!!it is portable,compact and the dolls are so soft.it is easy clean-up with pieces mostly attatched...kids would love it!
