At first my 7 month old son was afraid of it but as the batteries began to wear out, it wasn't so intimidating. The music was softer and Pooh didn't stomp so loudly. There was a day when Pooh had a meltdown. His words and music cycled randomly and made no sense and then he turned himself off. I thought he was possessed. I immediately changed his batteries. It has not happened since. The toy is cute and I catch my son hugging it from time to time when he is not pulling Pooh around by his ear trying to make him play music. =-)

Who doesn't love Winnie the Pooh?

This has been my 30-month-old daughter's favorite toy since she learned to squeeze his hand to make him walk! Poor pooh bear has fallen off of coffee tables, end tables, been kicked, dropped and thrown around... He is stained with God-only-knows-what. He has suffered more abuse than any toy should be expected to endure - and it is STILL walking, talking and singing!

The little hanky got ripped away from his hand within the first month. You would do well to just cut it off before you give it to your child.

i am 18 years old and i absolutely adore this toy. me and a friend spent about 2 hours playing with it in the shops a couple of years ago. i finally bought one recently and i love it. it's so cute. adorable phrases and actions - especially when he asks for hugs! A++++

To keep it simple, my son is almost 2 and loves this toy. He's very advanced in regards to his developement and most toys tend to bore him after a few minutes but that's not the case here. He plays with this quite a bit. Yes, the noise is somewhat annoying but so are the sounds coming from all of his other toys. I think over time I have learned to tune them out. The toy is also very durable and for the price, you can't go wrong. Some of his other toys come with smaller balls and he also enjoys letting them roll down the ramps as well. Overall, I would definately purchase this again.

After reading the other reviews posted for this product, I felt compelled to put my 2 cents in.

First of all, the concept of this toy is simple, racing cars down two spiral tracks. Admittedly, for a grown-up, this could get boring in a matter of moments. However, the toy is not intended for use by grown-ups; it is intended to be used by preschool-aged children. And, to that end, it gets the job done. My two younger children, ages 3 1/2 and 4 1/2, love this toy. Yes, they have tried to send their Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars zooming down the race track; some work and some don't. While we originally purchased this racetrack as a supplement to our son's evergrowing collection of Matchbox-ish cars, we are not disappointed since the toy has taken on a life of its own.

Every parent knows their child's interests; if your child loves to play with cars and race cars, then this toy is sure to please. If your child prefers Legos or Duplos to racecars, then this isn't the toy for you.

Our son loves to watch things go... and if it takes him five tries to find a Matchbox car that fits without getting stuck, he'll patiently plow through the bucket... but once he finds the one that works, his squeals of delight echo through the room.

This toy is very sturdy, well-constructed and much more compact than the only Fisher Price garage currently available. And, as for the complaints about the noise, while this toy does attempt to imitate race car sounds when you push the lever to "start" the race, the sounds only last for about 30 seconds or so. I've yet to hear the toy "speak" on its own or while left unattended, and it's certainly not loud enough to cause any disruption to a home accustomed to the sounds of small children. Overall, a great alternative for the car-loving preschool set.

My 1 1/2 year old boy loves this toy and plays with it everyday. He likes the cars included with it, but also uses his hot wheels cars to send down the track as well. Good purchase!

I purchased the doll house at 2am, grabbing it out of the stack of merchandise in the middle of an isle in WalMart last year just before Christmas, (after looking world-wide both on the internet and traveling through 3 states). As many parent experienced the problems of getting the dollhouse, then no furniture for months, I found out at a Toys r Us along my travels that enlightened me to the fact that NO FURNITURE HAD BEEN SHIPPED TO ANYONE, as it was not to be released until AFTER CHRISTMAS. I have no idea where the people on EBAY got theirs (makes you wonder, huh???) when stores not only had no furniture, they had NEVER GOTTEN ANY period! Should be a law against someone selling a $10.00 set of doll furniture for over $100.00 but then again, guess anyone stupid enough to pay it should be committed anyway! I just think it was a marketing ploy to increase the interest and people like me, when I finally found the furniture, I was so afraid I would not be able to get it later so I purchased it all at one time. Quite an expense, one I would never have undertaken under normal circumstances. I was afraid to take the chance of having this dollhouse and nothing with it, too much to invest to just sit.You do not have to have all the sets, but almost all the children who got one and no furniture was not interested in the house at all without the "extras". After aquiring some furniture the kids were indeed thrilled and is a very cute, durable and longterm learning tool.Shame on the company, the big CEOs (look at TYCO) whose greed got ahead of their COMMON SENSE!

We are finally getting the furniture but it has nothing to do with it not being available. I just couldn't afford it. I've had this dollhouse a year and the kids play with it CONSTANTLY. Yes I was frustrated that I couldn't find the furniture when I did have the money. From what I understood, twice as many houses were made as furniture so it would be avaible 2 months later. They were working on it. My kids love it. Now that we are getting some of the furniture, they are loving it more. I ask the parents what kind of kids they were raising that needed all the "accesories" to make something fun? Why can't the kids play imaginative play without it? We had nothing compared with what is out there now and we survived our childhoods. Personally, I wrote this just b/c I know fisher price was frustrating.... but seriously? Sounds like the parents are acting more like spoiled brats than the kids.

I love this whole set and my kids haven't tired of it. It is one toy that has really kept interest and held up to wear in our house and that's saying something.

My 2 year old got it for her birthday and loves it. She also got all of the add-ons and all of the accessories for it and I must say that it is not big enough for all of the furniture.
They should have also desinged some kind of table to set it on like the table that was desined for the Thomas The Train train track. This however does not bother my daughter since she is only 2 and most of the time plays with the furniture and characters no matter where she is at. I think for an older child that this might be frustrating when trying to set it up like a real house room by room and not having enough room to put all the furniture.
