Dora the Explorer: Dress-Up Adventure Soccer Outfit
Made by Fisher-Price
Amazon base price: $
Average review score:

I don't have answers to your questionsI gave this item as a gift. I don't have answers to your questions. I thought the doll was very expensive. Diane
Cute set, easy to put onJust like all the outfits in this set, the soccer set is soooo easy to put on, even my just turned 5 year old can do it with no help. She loves to make Dora kick the soccer ball around. The warning says it's a choking hazard, but while I would not intentionally give it to a young child, I do not worry about my 18 month old getting ahold of the pieces because they are very big.

Fisher Price Smart Screen Intelli Table
Made by Fisher Price
Amazon base price: $
Average review score:

Not as fun as I thoughtThis table needs a lot of improvement. The phone doesn't click into place, so it is very frustrating for a small child to get it to stay. The music has to finish playing a full song before any of the other buttons will work again, which is also very upsetting to a child frantically pushing a button with no result.
would be great except for major design flaw........This activity table keeps both my 1 and 2 year olds busy and entertained for a time. There's a wheel (which the boys love), three rotating balls for colors (even includes blue ball plus yellow ball makes green ball) and many other bells and whistles. I love this toy except for one major thing - the alphabet on the screen rotates backwards and forwards A-Z but does not loop around so everytime you end up at Z you have to manually rotate to the beginning of alphabet. This has proven to be very frustrating for our children and has dampened their enthusiam for that part of the toy - which holds the most educational value. Oops! This might explain why I see this toy now on clearance at the stores. It's worth it at the bargain price but not the full price.
Daughter loves picturesGreat points: Toy can sit on floor or on legs as child grows, has actual pictures to go with each word, has colors, sounds to go with each picture, now that my daughter is older (19 months) she knows all the pictures and words
Not so great points: When the toy gets to letter Z you have to manualy go back to A through each picture, The toy gets stuck on Z sometimes (mainly when batteries are low) My daughter lost the phone when she was younger because she loved to play with it so much. I am sure it is in our house somewhere???

Fisher-Price Peek-a-Blocks: Sound Sensations Blocks
Made by Fisher-Price
Amazon base price: $

Great...Out of the block sets, this is the one my son loves the best. He's fifteen months and loves to jingle the bell and rattle some of the other blocks. For a young child, sound is probably the most amusing sense.

Safari Open Top Take Along Swing

doesn't work wellThe seat sits so far back he was foot over head when sitting in the swing. He would cry the whole time he was in it.
Great for young babies...but not for older babiesI put this swing on my registry because I wanted something portable and more convenient than a regular sized swing. We end up with both. My son loves the swing and takes naps in it all the time, and prefers this swing to the regular swing. But now that he's 4 1/2 months and 14 lbs the seat has him tilted back to far. His feet are high than his head. I'm afraid he'll slip out on his head. And now he's figured out how to move his feet to stop the swing. So it's a great swing for 4months and under, but for babies who are active or are 14lbs and bigger, I don't recommend it.
not a very good buyi originally bought this one because it is cheaper than the fisherprice aquarium swing and they look similar, plus i could take this to my in-laws house. but after a few uses, i didn't like it that much because the swing is boring, no music and no toy. my baby didn't really get calm sitting in there. when my friend came over for a visit with her 6 months baby. her baby was only 15 lbs and when he sat in the swing, it's like he was almost flipped forward. it's not a good choice if your baby turns and rolls a lot. now, i just purchased a Aquarium Cradle Swing for $99. it's very expensive so i thought about it many times before i actually bought it. my 12 weeks old baby loves to be in there. she looks and coos to the toys, lights and music. she stays so calm in the swing for more than half an hour.
