My daughter received this toy and Mr. Potatohead for her second birthday. She loves them both, but Elmo has been an especially big hit. It comes with us everywhere and has probably fostered her developing obsession with Elmo and other Sesame Street characters. I agree with the other reviewers: This is a toy that requires some adult help, at least at first. The pieces are a bit tough for a two-year-old to insert.

BUT it is very hard for young kids to use a few of the pieces themselves. And they may get frustrated. Not all though. It is worth just listening to Elmo with all his silly sayings!
I still reccomend this for all people with young kids. Never a bad thing if a parent plays with their child :).

My daughter received this as a gift for her second birthday who is a huge Elmo fan. My daughter can put most of the pieces on herself, but some she still needs assistance. Of course, we had to sit with her a few times and show her how it works. She laughs at Elmo's silly sayings. This is much better than Mr. Potato Head. She is distructive and Elmo is still with us, so it is very durable. Very educational for the little one to identify different parts of the body and different parts of an animals body. Great gift!!

I don't usually write toy reviews but I have been reading several from others on other products, and I think this is a great way to inform those on a budget of what not to waste their $ on. This simply did not keep my almost 4 year old girl entertained. I have taken it out of the toy box several times to encourage her to play w/ it, and it simply bores her.Not worth the money in my opinion.

The idea is great and the things it says help learn various things. The only real problem this toy has is that the screen can be difficult to see. Even when you adjust the brightness, you have to be exactly at the level of the screen, straight on, to be able to see anything on it. Otherwise, it seems really sturdy and fun. My daughter enjoys it! (She is almost 3 years old).

i bought 2 of these and 4 of the 5 cartridges(i decided to skip french) I have 2 lil boys almost 2 and 3. I bought these for christmas and will save the cartridges for birthdays. We got Toby a year ago(the toddler one) and he still goes everywhere with us but now i cant find a second one so we fight over them. If they enjoy kasey half as much as they have toby then i will get some peace as they cant fight over the ones they both have.
even tho it has been discontinued it can still be a wonderful toy.
